I don't know what happened to this location. They used to be super fast. This is the second time in a row my order was delivered to the wrong address. If you can't look at the numbers on a house and realize they follow a pattern down the street you should not be doing deliveries. And stop just leaving food at the front door. I haven't ordered here in about a year or more because the customer service is so bad. But today I decided to go back, and they are still up to their antics. It is purposeful as it has happened several times before, but they will not put the toppings they verbally confirmed to you on the sub because know you won't notice it until you get home. For the first time I visited the drive-up at the Crofton location. Ordered the toasted turkey bacon ranch sub. Requested no onion, no ranch, only mayo and add pickle slices. There was onion on the sub and no pickles. Total cost was $11.01! Very disappointed and will not return. read more

On Saturday, 4/27/2024 @ 7:43pm, I ordered food from this location. Please, Please, check your carryout food order before you leave the Jimmy John's sub shop, in Crofton Md. I ordered eight items. Had my husband not checked the bag, he would have come home without our dessert items. Why invite customer to customize the sandwich order, if staff is not going to assemble and prep sandwich to our liking. Our sandwiches were missing 5 condiment items. It's as though the staff threw the sandwiches together and quickly wrapped it up. It was not cut-in- half and was just plain old boring, zero flavor due to the missing condiments. They were one of the first places open after the pandemic started. Not only do they offer delivery, but they have a drive-thru. So, it's doubly convenient when you don't want to risk going inside a restaurant. Depending on what you order, the meat to bread ratio is usually pretty good. I like the Ultimate Porker for some delicious ham-on-bacon action, but be advised... no cheese on that one... costs extra. They have some great clubs, though, and their roast beef is spot on. (If you're REALLY hungry, get the Gargantuan!) We've even ordered a couple of loaves of their french bread to use at home (made some killer shrimp po'boys with it!). They are a little pricier than other sandwich chains, but I've yet to have a bad sub here either. Plus, they really do make the food quickly. I'm glad we have one locally now. It's a great distraction from the standard fare. Is it the best sandwich you'll ever have? No, that's probably the one you will make (because nothing beats homemade). Since bread is always on my mind, and even more so now, I figured I'd get some of the best bread there ever was by way of a Jimmy John's sub. I always get the Gargantuan because #GoBigOrGoHome, amirite? I ordered online and went for pick-up, with very clear and easy instructions. This particular location has a drive through, which is an operational blessing during this takeout mandate. Their doors are locked and all orders are taken and picked up at the drive through. The employee had both gloves and a mask on. Though the subs weren't cut in half as I specified in the order, I took that as a sign to eat the whole thing in one sitting. Which I did. I ordered a turkey Tom and my sandwich was incorrect and very nasty. The way I received my sandwich is completely opposite of what they are promoting. Also , my bread is really hard and there is no turkey meat . I'm very disappointed and unhappy with my purchase. The service here was awful, the people who took my order were rude and the girl with dyed red hair was super unprofessional when she gave me my sub. Acts like it's so hard for her to go back and grab me a few packets of Mayo, like I'm inconveniencing her day. I wouldn't recommend delivery! It took an hour and 20 minutes which is ridiculous for a sandwich and chips! The driver knocked on my door and left the food on the porch....it's raining outside. I literally was sitting next to the door. Unprofessional to leave my food on a wet porch and the store told me they didn't have a lot of deliveries. Jimmy John's is very close to where I live and was interested in trying. The front is in the back... Very nice, well lighted, and very clean. I really like the subs in the Philly area, this is not that. They only serve cold subs. No banana / pepperoncini peppers. No choice of cheese. They seem to push the order as is... no changes. Friendly enough. No bag, no napkin, (after asking, I did get the bag), kind of different! If your looking for something fast, decent price, and good, this is the place. While I enjoy JJ's subs, the service at this particular has gone down. The last two times I've ordered from here they've been Freaky Slow. Considering that I always tip 20%, I expect a bit more humility and apology from a 44+ minute delivery wait (2nd time - and this location is 1.4 miles away). You could volunteer your services at a farm, learning how to sow wheat, and, after you have tilled the earth and planted the seed, could then spend the next few months working at a butcher, studying how to cure deli meats, while waiting for your grain to finish growing. Might as well plant some lettuce while you're there, maybe a tomato or two. Harvesting is tough work, but you're hungry and motivated at this point, and when you finally take your wheat to a mill, you will leave with the best flour you've ever had, which you will then proceed to bake into loaves. Stopped by at 4:00 pm on Saturday 4/14/19. I thought the place was closed because there was ONE person behind the counter. No, they were open and that one person, Anthony, was kicking ass! Apparently, an employee had called out sick and the only other help Anthony had was on a delivery. I ordered two subs and while Anthony was making my sandwiches "freaky fast", Xavier arrived after his delivery and, not missing a beat, handled the drive-thru. Short-handed, these two guys didn't miss a beat. T This store is closer to me, but I was in Annapolis at Parole Towne Center and stopped at that JJ's. This tiny Jimmy Johns location just opened up recently and I have been meaning to try it. Finally got the chance today, and honestly I was blown away. I got my food from the DRIVETHRU That's right. This Jimmy Johns has a MF drivethru. If you're thinking a drivethru is a bad idea because of the time it takes to make and package a fresh deli sandwich, you would be wrong. I ordered my Italian with drink and chips, and it took something like 90 seconds to get my food. Sub was freshly prepared to order and delicious as expected. The guys who work a this Jimmy Johns location really value their customers. You can tell just by their great attitude and level of service. It's a nice change from the gum-chewing "watchoo want" blasé attitude that you get at the typical fast food drivethru. These guys were courteous and even said "have a great day" as I drove away. I haven't ordered from there in a year because they always forgot something in my order or messed up my order and then I try again tonight and I clearly wrote in the notes "I only have a 50 dollar bill knock on door" meaning I had a 50 and would need change ..10 minutes go by they are preparing the food then the food goes out for delivery all for me to get a call right before the driver pulls up to my house and he says "I don't have change for a 50" "that's why I'm calling you now before I get there" and I responded with the instructions I left on the order was telling you all I only had a 50 and please to cancel my order! I just don't even know where to start on this one... The freaky fast delivery took 50 minutes. With the proximity of the location to my home, I could have drove there and back 4 times before I got my order. When it did arrive, the young woman who delivered the order smelled like marijuana. Thanks for stinking up my house when I opened the door. Now onto the actual food. My cold cut sub was room temperature. It was kinda nasty to even eat, tasted like it had been sitting out all day. Tried JJ in Crofton after seeing it just off the main drag and being new to the area. Ordered the #7 via the drive-thru for an early lunch and pleasantly surprised! Fresh and very tasty! Good service and seemed to be a well run shop. I should have opted for the 8" but having gone with the bigger 16" will have a great lunch tomorrow.
