I ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 chips on line today for delivery. When the order arrived, almost an hour later, the order was not complete. It was missing the 2 chips. I called the store manager and she indicated she could deliver the chips or offer a refund. I selected the refund. Almost 2 hours later, a different store manager called and indicated that I would not get a refund, as the driver said the chips were delivered. He said it was a he said/she said situation and it was their policy not to refund. I reiterated the chips were not delivered and asked if they could just deliver them as the previous manager stated that was an option. I was told they did not have a driver for the afternoon. They offered a free sandwich, but would not be able to deliver, I had to go to the store. This is terrible customer service and I did not even go into my experience of talking with an employee about the delivery taking so long. If Jimmy Johns had acted with integrity and delivered on the premise of fulfilling an order and if they couldn't, to refund the portion not filled, I would have no issue with this. Their refusal to refund $5, (its the principle!) has cost them a long time customer. I realize that in the grand scheme of life this loss will have little impact on them, but I hope I can warn customers of this treachery so they can make an informed decision. On the one hand they are freaky fast. Of all the restaurants that deliver to our house this is by far the fastest (but that might have something to do with being to closest as well). The sandwiches are pretty tasty when they get the order correct. My main complaint with this location is accuracy. I almost always order the beach club and the only customization I make is no mayo and sometimes add mustard. Yet last time my sandwich came without tomato or cucumber. Two times before that there was no lettuce. Once I was sure they did not include guac only to find the smallest bit in between cheese slices on only one half of my sandwich. Ordering it cut in half is about a 50/50 chance it will come that way. A restaurant that doesn't have a lot of customization options (no hot sandwiches, very few veggie options and two types of bread) should be able to get an order correct. Especially if they are charging almost $20 for two sandwich combos before delivery fee. read more

Called the store, they took my name for a replacement at a later date. 5 days later, stop in to get my sub with my receipt and notes. A lady that I don't recognize says the "remake" is only good for 24hrs. She says this without any care in the world, like I'm trying to con a $7 sandwich. If I could give zero start I would. Ordered delivery from here and it took almost 40 min for it to arrive. Should have been a first red flag. Then, when I opened my sandwich, it was completely wrong. I called the store to ask them to redeliver the correct sandwich, manager tried to push me to receive a refund but I actually wanted the sandwich. He said it would be redelivered. 40 min later, still no sandwich, so I called back and was told by manager that he made the sandwich personally and remembers making it right so he doesn't understand where the mix up happened so he just refunded my money and told me to have a good day and hung up. I tried calling back and he did not answer. I then took the sandwich to the place and in a not so very nice way showed him how incorrect the order was and told them to have better customer service! I would not recommend ordering from here because they do not care. There were no customers and the delivery driver was in the store chatting it up with the other worker. I live less than 10 min away. It really seems as if they do not want to be bothered so I would recommend not wasting your time! ***Update*** I spoke with corporate and was informed that this is a franchise and they passed the information on to the owner. I used to order Jimmy John's all the time and every time it was delivered. I love the food. A new location opened up 2.2 miles away from my home and they do not deliver. What kind of place does not deliver 2 miles out!?!? So I took a short 5 minute ride to get food for my family and when we first walked in, the place was empty and 5 employees were there. In my opinion, you could do with less people or maybe widen your delivery area and have the extra employees drive, instead of doing nothing. My daughter and myself were greeted by three girls with stone faces who acted like it was the worst thing in the world to have customers. The entire time we were ordering this is how they acted, I could not tell you if they even had teeth. WORST customer service ever. When they were done they put the food on the counter and walked away. I asked if they could put my food in a bag and they told me the bags were behind the counter and I could bag my own food. If this is the custom, cool, but let people know that and put the bags and napkins where the customers can actually see the items. The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because the food is really good. Whoever owns this place needs to work on employee's customer service skills and widen the delivery bubble.
