Stopped by the Taco Bell in Steele Creek recently, and the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. On the bright side, the service was atypically great in comparison to *many* visits in the past few years -- Keisha took care of us at the counter and was incredibly friendly and efficient. She even checked on us in the dining area a bit later. Our order came out quickly, and everything was accurate, which is always appreciated. The food itself was fine, but the temperature was inconsistent. Some items were nice and hot while others were noticeably cooler, which took away from the overall meal. The restaurant itself was pleasantly clean. One thing worth noting: both order kiosks were occupied during our visit, and the line to order started to back up which made the front area feel a bit congested. I hate to write this but I waited over 30 minutes for my hour at this location. I'm not sure what was causing the extreme wait time but I'm embarrassed to say I waited that long. When we arrived this visit the drive thru line wasn't moving so we got out of it (we were at the end and nowhere near the speaker to order). Then we went inside and the manager (I guess) announced to be patient with them because they were busy. Had to pace my order on the kiosk and then we waited. They did offer us a complimentary drink. Towards the 30 minute waiting mark the police started to arrive. Not sure exactly what was going on but a customer was there and I believe they never received their food. Once we finally got our order it was missing parts of it and the nacho fries we cold. Since we had been there so long we didn't even have the engery to ask them to remake them. Taco Bell used to be cheap. It's not anymore and it's not worth it to have to waste so much time for small portions and cold food. Stay away from this one. The food is bad, they assembly it so poorly, burritos are flat not round, they skimp on everything. You get a maybe enough nacho cheese for like 5 chips, the saucer is not even half filled. If you order on the app they seem to mess that up and get super confused. The worst Taco Bell on the planet, do not use the Taco Bell app ever at this store. Regardless of pickup or delivery your order will be cancelled. Doesn't matter if it's breakfast/lunch/dinner. "The system is down", "they never received it", "they're not currently serving breakfast/or they closed early 10pm". They will also tell you sorry we can't refund or cancel your order, contact Taco Bell for a refund which takes days to get. Drive further to another one, it's worth the extra gas just to avoid. Went through the drive through and the young man was so rude. He told me to spell what I wanted! Why would I have to spell it when I clearly asked for a BURRITO SUPREME. I am an educator so I speak very clearly. Then he told me if I didn't spell it, he was not going to take my order and hung up the drive through mic. I called the store and he hung up on 3 times because he knew it was me. After the 3rd hang up, he answered and said he was the store manager and tried to disguise his voice. Never again. I came here to grab 2 bean burritos. I pulled in and the drive-thru had about 5 cars, so I went inside. No one was waiting to order, yet there were 7 ppl waiting for their food to be given. The cashier never addressed me, just stared at me. They had one creation line going and the 2 ladies were not aware at all of the term "FAST food." The manager was just as slow, as she very slowly moved around the store. I waited 25 mins for BEAN burritos! The staff was/is lazy & just didn't care, including the manager! Is it possible to mess up a bean burrito??? YES! All you have to do is make someone wait 25 mins & then serve burnt beans inside the burrito. So I'm clear, this store was not slammed with customers & they were not understaffed.
