I went into the Jimmy John's location at 6923 E State Rd 70 on May 2 at approximately 10:45 am in Bradenton Florida and ordered two subs to go. The young male employee put the wrapped subs on the counter in front of me. I asked him to please put them in a bag. He asked why do I need a bag and then said they do not bag the subs. I said the other locations I have been to do. He looked disgusted and threw a bag on the counter where I had to put the subs on the bag myself!! I never was in a store that had such rude and incompetent employees. The manager needs to have all employees take a course in customer service. This treatment is unacceptable to a customer. Needless to say, I will never return here and will post this issue on all social media platforms. read more

Prepare to be whelmed. We pulled into the drive thru line, we were the only ones there. They took our order without incident. We forgot to ask for a drink but they were able to add that in post. When we got up to the window it took about 10+ minutes to actually get my sandwich, which was just meat cheese lettuce and Mayo, mind you. Inside all they seemed to be doing was shooting the breeze and making jokes. One kid wasn't doing anything at all, he was just bumming around and drinking a water bottle. I discovered Jimmy Johns years ago while Visiting my daughter at University of Iowa and was thrilled when they opened in Chicago area where I am from. They have always been consistently yummy so was happy to see that there was a location near us when we retired to Florida. What a huge disappointment! One of the things that makes Jimmy Johns unique is their breads and sub rolls. My #9 sub today was quite possibly the worse sub I've ever had. While the ingredients were as expected, the sub roll tasted like it was over baked and about 3 or 4 days old. Could hardly bite into it. I won't be returning. read more

I use Jimmy Johns about 3 times a month when I can't get out of my workplace and need delivery. The sandwiches are unremarkable. The cookies are usually dry(not fresh). The Thinny chips are good. I decided to try the legendary BLT. The bacon was the precooked kind and it was cold not heated or freshened up. The tomatoes were tiny and few. It's always "freaky fast". I would prefer slower and better. You could take a lesson from Jersey Mikes. read more
