I've been going to this Jimmy John's ever since they opened. Like any fast food place, service will vary since staff turnover can be high. But the last several times I visited, the service was fast and efficient. I always order the same thing (#9, no onions) and food quality has been consistent. I love their salt and vinegar chips. Have not eaten at the store since before the pandemic but they have plenty of seating and play music I can listen to. Main complaint is about trying to utilize a Jimmy Johns gift card over the phone to try and have dinner delivered - it did not work. Thought we could just read the numbers to the order taker, I even called in advance to make sure that I could do this over the phone - but that did not work out so well. I have been to this location several times and had no issues. But unfortunately today was not the same. I ordered the J.J Gargantuan online through my sister's account. When I got it home I realized one of the sandwiches was on the correct bread and one was on what resembled a coney bun so the bread to meat ratio was completely thrown off. We called the establishment thinking maybe they will attempt to correct the problem, by offering a small discount on a future order or something. Being that the mess up was on them, the correction should not be at my expense. The only thing the manager said was you can bring it back and we can correct it. Then he went on about meat to bread ratio, added toppings, and other reasons why they weren't wrong. I initially thought they had just changed the bread and was going to let it go until I looked at my sister's sandwich and realized that the bread is still the same as before. Great fast food sandwich place! They offer both sandwiches on a baguette or on a softer whole grain bread. Personally I always get the #9 (Italian Night Club) on a baguette. Plenty of food if you're hungry or just want a small bite and can take some home for later. JJ's markets themselves on being quick to make your order and at all the locations I've been to they definitely deliver on this promise. Service was ok. Had to hunt for napkins, store was reasonably clean.The food is mediocre at best but with a laid back atmosphere most people consider it great. I had the JJ Gargantuan, basically a lettuce sandwich with a couple slices of meat and cheese. They are proud of their bread though with proclamations of its freshness. Note to JJ; fresh does not equal good! It is rather tough and chewy kind of like a wheat based taffy. Side note; like all of the mid west, this place too is obsessed with the beach. When it comes to ordering for delivery, this place is a mess. After placing an order and waiting for almost an hour, the driver finally showed up and said he got lost (never called to let us know). He also informed us that their delivery zone stops about 2 blocks to the west of our place but said if he was working he would make the exception. Fast forward to 2 months later, my fiancé placed an order online and according to the website, we are in the delivery zone. Once again the driver (different that previous one) arrives and says we are outside the delivery area. If we are outside of their zone, they need to have their website updated. I also find it frustrating that I've seen JJ's being delivered on multiple occasions to houses further East than we are. Even though there's a Jimmy John's closer to my house than this one, I prefer this location and have become a regular over the last few years. The employees are cheerful and fun, the interior is always clean and well-kept, and the food is always as advertised. Went to this location for lunch and we wanted to eat there. After ordering our sandwiches, the service was far from freaky fast. There were at least a half dozen people furiously working on sandwiches - but there were likely for either delivery or drive-thru as we waited over 10 minutes for ours. I guess ordering food to eat there takes last priority. We went to sit down at a table but they were all dirty - crumbs and food on the tables and seats. When we asked for a napkin to wipe them off, we were told that we would get napkins with our meal. Well, we did get napkins - all 2 of them! We ended up sitting outside at the metal picnic tables. I don't understand why an establishment that has tables for eating doesn't have someone going around to wipe them down - especially during this Covid Pandemic.
