Never thought I'd have to change my review, we've never had an issue until last night. We're about 3 minutes from this Jimmy Johns (if we don't hit any red lights). It took 30 minutes to get our food last night. What happened to "freaky fast"? I kept seeing reviews for JJ with the similar problem and couldn't understand why we had never had an issue before. I have eaten here a few times and the food is pretty fresh. I was a really amazed when I ordered an 8 inch "big john" sandwich plain with no veggies. This is basically what you get when ordered plain with no veggies. Two small pieces of meat that really don't constitute a sandwich. I had to move half the meat off half the sandwich and combine it to get a whole sandwich that wasn't just a bunch of bread. When I returned the next day and asked the manager if some kind of mistake was made, he said "Nope" that's the correct amount of meat. Needless to say, I can think of a ton of other places that I can get a HUGE sandwich for $8 bucks. Heck, there's a sub shop on each corner of 64th & Ward Rd. Just thought I'd share. read more

We all know JJ's is not gourmet food. I used to order from this location when I could not leave work for lunch. It was pretty fast delivery as advertised. Today was anything but fast. Ordered at 11:17, received lunch at 12:45. Soda had no ice left and the sandwich order was inaccurate. I had added a couple toppings to it and these were left off. I work within 5 minutes of the JJ's store. I will not order delivery in the future. Wish I had not tipped online when I placed the order. read more

This was a classic Jimmy John's. We were there just after they opened in the morning and the staff all greeted us warmly. We had 3 variations of the #5 (original Italian) and not only were all 3 sandwiches prepared correctly - they were clearly labeled to indicate which was which. The member of our group had a #7 (tom turkey). Our order was 100% correct / the sandwiches were prepared to Jimmy's corporate standards and as their slogan says, they were "freaky fast". read more

Great customer service!! My wife and I had 2 "free sandwich" coupons, and there were no stipulations in the fine print of those coupons that said anything along the lines of "only 1 per visit." We were a little surprised and suspicious of this, but we decided to try it anyways. We put in our order and the manager (or I would assume it was the manager) said their computer system wouldn't allow us to use them both on the same transaction, but said we could just separate the order into 2 transactions so we could use both coupons. I've had the worst experience of my eating out LIFE, here. So I'll start at the start, and explain why you should NEVER eat at this particular Jimmy Johns, or, in my opinion, ANY Jimmy Johns, because of their lack of customer service. I've been ordering subs from them for about two months now, and all-in-all, they've gone smoothly. Yesterday, I placed a VERY simple order: 2 subs 2 chips 2 drinks To be delivered to my home. I waited...and waited...and waited, until an hour after my order had been placed, then finally decided to call them. An hour for two sandwiches? Ummmm, that's a tad ridiculous. So I called, and spoke to a young (sounding) girl with an accent, and told her the minor dilemma I was facing and asked if the order was in transit. Apparently this was too difficult of a job for her to answer, because she asked if she could place me on hold. It wasn't a big deal to me to be placed on hold, so I agreed. Keep in mind that at this point, I was merely agitated that my food hadn't arrived. It's not that big of a deal. I just wanted to know where the food was. She kept me on hold for about five minutes, and then a man picked up and said, "Jimmy Johns..." Then I said, ".....Hi, I just spoke to a girl and told her my issue. Did she relay that information to you?" He said, "...No, she didn't. How can I help you?" So I told him the story, AGAIN and I was asked, AGAIN, to be placed on hold because they couldn't find my order. I then told them that I had a confirmation number, and a receipt of them taking $14.00 out of my bank account. So I gave him the number, and was, AGAIN, placed on hold. Ten minutes passes, and by this time, I'm starting to get mad. Not one person has apologized, and not one person has come back on the phone to tell me that they were "terribly sorry, and that they were trying to figure out what happened." *this is what you should do if you want to keep customers* Finally, right before I hung up, just to call them back, the first girl picked up the phone, only to say, "you made this order to be placed tomorrow." I said, "no, I have a receipt that says it's to be sent to me, tonight. She literally, as if I haven't said this to someone in that Jimmy Johns within the last ten minutes, asked if I had a tracking number. I gave it to her again, and she said the same thing. That it will be sent out tomorrow. By this time, I was over talking to anyone at this establishment. I said, "I just want my money back. Two sandwiches and $14.00 isn't worth this." She hesitated, and fumbled around, and said, "so...you don't want the sandwiches?" I said, "no". She, again, sounded quite confused and said, "so you want your money back, and DON'T want the sandwiches?" "YES!" I said. "I want my money back and do not wish to receive any sandwich from you. Just let me talk to a manager and get my money back." She said, "You're going to have to wait till tomorrow when the manager comes in. I can't give you your money back." I'm livid by now. No apologies. No consolation offers. No respect. AND NOW, NO MONEY BACK UNTIL A MANAGER, (who should be on duty at all hours of the day) COMES IN, TOMORROW! OUTRAGEOUS! "There's no manager there?!" I asked. "No." She responded. Give me the owners number, please." I asked her. She did, and I hung up the phone." I would wait until tomorrow to speak to a manager, but at the very least, I was going to give the owner a call to tell them how bad the service was. I figured the number would send me to an automated system for customer ratings. It didn't, and my issues with Jimmy Johns JUST BEGAN. I called the number, and a girl answered. It sounded like she was at a party because I heard laughing and talking in the background. I asked if this was the owner of Jimmy Johns, off 64th. She said, "no, I'm the general manager at Jimmy Johns..." WHAT?! You mean to tell me that after all that, the chick at the restaurant gave me a private number to a manager that isn't even on duty, when I asked for the owners number?! Frustrated beyond belief, I figured I had her on the phone so I'd tell her what I thought. She, at first, was laughing with her friends as I was speaking, so I said, "am I bothering you? Your staff GAVE ME this number." She then became SUUUUUPER professional and talked me down. She said that she had been on the phone with the girl at the restaurant for ten minutes, (the same ten minutes I spent on hold) explaining how to find my order, and void it, so that I'd get my money back. She also informed me that the incompetent girl whom I spoke to earlier WAS a manager. I laughed and told her that she said, "no manager was available." Anyhow, this GM told me that she'd be in at 5:00am tomorrow, and she would fix the problem, ASAP. She said a couple of apologies but nothing to spectacular. I figured if I get my money back by tomorrow, it's not gonna be a big deal. Long story short, it didn't go through, and she's "fixing" it. DON'T GO HERE! read more

The sandwich was ready quickly, but with no other customers and six staffers, that's not exceptional service... Especially when I asked for no lettuce or tomato and ended up with half a head of lettuce on it. I didn't think "no lettuce or tomato" was a difficult request. This location just opened, and it's pretty good. They are already quite busy for lunchtime, and I see their delivery drivers out and about all over town. I always get the turkey/avocado/cheese whatever it is sub. It's tasty, and for $6 it's a pretty good deal. However, their bread does not taste fresh-baked- it's hard, like maybe it was warm at some point but sat out for too long and it just tough. I wish they had other cheese offerings besides provolone, and I also wish they had other bread choices. Otherwise, no complaints! read more

I live in between 2 JJs, 2.8 & 2.6 miles away, about 9-10 minutes. I was told I live in a dead zone, no delivery. I found out they do distance by time instead of miles. Even if it takes 15 min one way thats not bad. I like JJs sandwiches but they just lost me business. read more

This is the WORST jimmy johns location. Not only is our order wrong every other time we go in tonight they served me a flattened sandwich with no lettuce or onions on it. I called and asked to speak the manager and the two young attitude filled men passed the phone back and forth acting like the general manager and the district manager and refused to credit my account because I wouldn't drive 15 minutes back to show them this joke of a sandwich. Incredibly disappointed with the level of service by this particular location. I had called to make an order for delivery while visiting a family member. At first, everything went like normal. I was asked for my address and order. After it was placed the person on the other line ran my credit card and said they would arrive shortly. 1 hour later we still hadn't received our order. I called back to make sure everything was going okay. The person on the line asked if I was the one who had ordered the specific thing I ordered and I said yes. They placed me on hold, and another person got on asking me what the problem was. I had just told the previous person what was going on. After repeating myself that we hadn't received our order,placed an hour before, the person told me that we were outside their delivery zone (only 2 miles away). He explained they tried contacting me numerous times (not a single missed call), and got ahold of some random lady who said we lived in some place called west gate. I have no idea who this random person was, it definitely wasn't me on the one phone I called them from. They also said they had to immediately void the transaction (which now will take days to refund my money) after the order was placed. Now I could have understood that this delivery zone was outside their area (I'm sure places have weird zones), and I'm sure it's standard to void a transaction when these mistakes happen. The thing that gave them a 1 star was the fact that they called some random person and said we lived elsewhere. It's not like we routed our number through the Pentagon with untraceable tracks everywhere. We called from a cell phone. Lastly, they said they still had the subs if I wanted to go pick them up. I was child watching and couldn't just up and leave (thus why I wanted delivery) but they had the nerve to tell me they would have to recharge me if I did. They already took the money from me once, that I won't get back for days, now they want to charge me again? Definitely unacceptable. We are 1.1 miles from this location. We called and ordered 60 sandwiches. The person taking the order had a very hard time figuring out how to tray our sandwiches. We were told their Corporate office would not allow them to deliver to us because we are outside of their delivery zone. That's some tight delivery zone. We are a brand new business here in Arvada. We order trays for our monthly meetings....but not from them. Arvada Colorado could use some lessons in hospitality. Once we picked up our order and brought back- it was incomplete! Come on! I give this location four stars because the food is tasty and arrives quickly; however, there have been numerous times when our order is wrong (lettuce when we asked for no lettuce, no packets of mayo, forgetting to cut a sandwich in half and wrapping it separate, as requested, and a couple of forgotten drinks for which we had to wait another 20 minutes.). We went for customer appreciation day knowing that there would be a line and that wasn't the problem. The staff was ridiculously rude! When ordering your food, the staff would rushing you to get to the next person. I understand that but when you get to your sandwich, those are the people that are the worst. I was in such a rush when ordering that I forgot to ask for sprouts, so when my sandwich was made I asked them if they could give me some sprouts. You would have thought the world was ending because I didn't order my sandwich this way! The 3 yr old I was with would t eat her tuna sandwich because it was onions with a side of tuna! Not impressed at all. . We decided to try it due to the delivery factor only to find out they have a very LIMITED delivery zone! Ultimately placed the order just to try them out and went to pick it up. Needless to say, still not impressed. The only bread you can choose is french (unless you want to pay extra for a whole grain choice), the only cheese you can have is provolone (good cheese but not all people like it) The bread didn't taste fresh baked more like flash frozen, and the giant chocolate chip cookie? OMG anyone could buy it at the 7-11 (prepackaged) and slap a Jimmy John's label on it. Needless to say, they are #4 on our list of "fast-food" sandwiches falling far behind Quizno's (#1 for the toasting) Subway (#2 for the variety and freshness) and WhichWich (#3 for the neat idea but no locations near by) The only thing they got going for them right now is their commercials~~which are cute funny! Just got a sandwich from here. Absolute terrible service. I would never normally complain from a deli. I had to repeat my order multiple times (just one sandwich!) & the guy acted like he was hung over. When I handed the guy my card to pay, he ran my card several times and each time just threw it on the counter, not even towards me. I was left scrambling for it every time. When I gave him my card for the final swipe, I left it on the counter. He scoffed & snatched the card off of the counter. Screw this Jimmy John's! Sorry you're not happy with your job. Absolutely horrible service and delivery times. Weeks ago we ordered and after waiting for 40 minutes they called to tell us that in would be another 30-45 minutes. We decided to try them again this week and waited for 1 hour! You need to staff more than one driver during lunch to be "freaky fast". To add when i called to check on my order, i was rudely served by a kid that said it be "awhile" and then hung up on me. I have been here on numerous occasions and find staff friendly and helpful. Food is quickly prepared and the hunters club my son's favorite. Its nice to have an alternate to the Subway down the street. Subway was always my favorite until the last few years ago when the quality really started to deteriorate from its original days. My favorite sub at jimmy john's is the veggie. Best I have had in a chain. Location offers easy parking and close to schools and shopping. I ate at the Lakewood location on7850 west alameda. 8/15/2016 at 3:25pm. It was my first time ever eating at this restaurant and location. What a bad idea to get food from here. The entire staff is ran by a so called supervisor deb or barb. They wouldn't give me any accurate information about anyone in charge. First of all as I said I NEVER ate at a jimmy johns before. When I called to get a order delivery the person was rude taking my order. Then when they delivered it. It was just lettuce mayo & bread. I ordered a Italian sandwich. When I called to explain. The terrible supervisor they chose for this store started hollering at me that it wasn't her fault or her companies fault if "I" ordered "my" sandwich wrong. I told her I didn't understand. Then she really let me have it she continued to holler at me. I asked her to speak to supervisor. Then she proudly told me that I was. I asked if anyone was above her in management. Then she hung up on me. This deb or barb or whatever her name was has the staff trained to treat the customers just as shitty as she does. So I call deb barb whatever answers. I ask why she hung up on me. She said she asked me something 5 times & since I didn't answer, her quick enough. She don't have time!!!! Then she passed the phone to someone that took my order. And was still being coached to be rude to me. I left my name & phone number to be contacted by corporate. But I knew they wouldn't be fair and pass it forward to resolve the negative issue they caused. I threw away the sandwich when. They re delivered. For all I know they all wiped it across the floor and spit on it. I'll never eat at this place or any jimmy Johns. My mom was wrong on this one. They are awful. Don't waste your time or money.
