I'm a regular customer, 4-5 visits a week. What keeps me coming back is the staff, the convenient location, and the impeccable tidiness of the restaurant. Service is mind blowingly fast, the bread is faultless, there's almost no end to the diversity of sandwiches you can order, and their bacon is just one step removed from legendary status. I highly recommend whatever sandwich you choose, you add bacon to that bad boy, and you can thank me after you've picked your face up off the spotless floor because it just just blown off by bacon. I've come to find that if you are expected to eat in at Jimmy John's, your food is bound to taste way better but my daughter ordered me a sandwich to be delivered to our home. I like mine on the square wheat bread and this bread was as if somebody toasted it and then let it get cold. The inside of the sandwich was chaotic thrown together with multiple tomato slices to the point of hanging out of the sandwich. It was obvious that no care went into making this sandwich whatsoever. The most frustrating part is that complaints fall on deaf ears because as most people could tell you, the owner has a little to no interest in customer satisfaction. I would give them zero stars if possible. I ordered a meal and it took over an hour and a half to get to me. I am less than 2 miles away from the shop. When the food finally got to me I got a real surprise. A flat warm coke with no ice, and even better than that, a sandwich that looked like it was stepped on and run over and dipped in water. It had two fatty dried pieces of "roast beef" a few pieces of bacon, 4 soggy pickles, two slices of battered cheese. Just moved here. While moving, I ordered online. My husband can't eat regular bread because of his teeth right now. He ordered a sandwich with a wrap instead of bread. I had an "unwrap" with lettuce. Everything was so good. Last week went in to order instead of doing it online. They make a good sandwich here and the pickles are off the charts good. I appreciate a good pickle now. The prices are decent compared to the Jersey Mikes across the way. You don't have to take out a bank loan to feed three people at JJ's like you do at JM's. They have a good selection on the menu and might even have some vegetarian/vegan options but I'm not totally sure on that. The sandwich makers are quick and I've never had a bad sub there. My coworkers and I filed a complaint and got a response not only from the owner but also the employee who failed to deliver our food to our personal phone numbers. Bad customer service!! This location recently opened up and the service is horrible! The first visit we ordered and paid, then after we received our sandwiches the employee told us that they mistakenly rang our order incorrectly. We agreed to have our order re-rang, even though we already had our food. It ended up costing another $2 which wasn't a big deal because it costs what it costs but I couldn't believe that they wouldn't take the fault and leave as is, since it was their mistake. On the second visit, we got to the counter and ordered a slim 2 with cheese. We were promptly told that we can't add cheese to a slim 2. And that it was "corporate policy". I have been ordering this exact order for years without issue at other locations. Came in ordered sandwiches with cheeses. Cashier rang me up and I paid. Then cashier says she forgot to charge me for the cheese! Ok no biggie, her fault.. etc. she told the lead gal about it and was told "well she HAS to pay for cheese." I'm thinking "I tried to pay for the cheese!" Very disappointed over the terrible customer service from this location. I placed an online order and after it showed delivered but wasn't on my porch I called the restaurant and spoke to Christian. He said he would call his delivery driver and ask if she knew where it was delivered. He called me back stating she had left it on my porch and I told him, no, that's why I called because it wasn't left on my porch. He then told me to go door to door looking for my order! I said really? Is that the solution? He said yes, he was too busy to remake it and if they did it would be hours before it would be delivered at this point and to call and let him know if I don't find it. I was shocked and did go check the porches next to my house on each side, of course there was no delivery there so I called again and asked if he could resend it, he had such an attitude with me and told me he would ask his driver to go find where she dropped it off and bring it to me. Again, I was shocked! So I asked the name of the manager and he said "Christian" and I said "wait, isn't that your name?" And he said yes, I am the manager. At that point I didn't even know what to say, I was just in shock at his attitude and solutions offered, so I said ok thank you and hung up. I was never upset, never raised my voice, I understand places are short staffed and doing their best, but all I wanted was the sandwich order I paid for and the attitude and sarcasm I was met with was just really shocking. I used to order often from this location but definitely will not be back. Oh my gosh, I don't know why I love this place so much! Compared to other chain sub restaurants, I've always hated Subway, withstood Jersey Mikes, and loyally praised Quiznos, but Jimmy John's is a bit different altogether. Maybe it's the ease in ordering - there are no "sizes". Just 1 size. Love it or hate it. I love it. Maybe it's the real mayonnaise they put on their subs. I had the worst experience at this location, it really makes me want to boycott the whole franchise. I ordered through the app for extra "freaky fast" service since we were in a hurry on our road trip. I promptly received a message stating my order was ready. When I went in to pick up my order, it was no where to be found & I was informed that another customer must have picked it up by mistake. Okay, I get that's not on them. However, if you're running a business and using this hands-off method of distributing products to customers, I do feel it is the businesses responsibility to make up for the inconvenience in some way. My order went to the end of the line and I saw multiple customers come and go picking up orders while mine was being remade (incorrectly). I know other businesses would provide some sort of discount options or free visit next time, or even a simple genuine apology would do. However, the owner (Chuck) was very rude to me when I asked for some sort of compensation for the inconvenience. He snapped at me about be angry that other customers are stealing money from him, & clearly was projecting this frustration onto me. I felt completely discriminated against because of the way that he went off on me (a female and woman of color), but even if that is how he would handle the situation with any customer, it was absolutely unprofessional & the worst customer service experience! I'm still in shock that he was the owner! I was left in tears, and so my partner went in to get his name after I returned to the car. The owner proceeded to make a scene and yell at my partner, discounting the 6ft distance regulation that is in place now. My partner was humiliated in front of many customers for simply asking the owner's name. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. We all stood there at the fountain getting our drinks still when they finished our 3 large sandwiches, and found ourselves saying "wow that WAS freakishly fast"! Lol Corny but true! We had 2 Gargantuan and 1 Porky? (ham sandwich) We loved the bread, meats and cheeses. It's nice they have unsweetened tea option or sweet tea besides soda. We added bacon. That was kind of spendy at $1.99 extra which made our Gargantuans nearly $12 subs but oh so worth it plus I had enough for two meals! The fixings were sliding out from the bread it was so full!
