I cannot express how utterly disappointed and absolutely disrespected I feel by this Jimmy John's manager and her little sidekick. I walked in this evening at about 5 o'clock. It was absolutely dead in there. They were just chatting. The manager said hello and asked me what she could get me. I said that I would like a "number nine Italian nightclub with no tomatoes, lettuce, or mayo, please "don't recall that sandwich being consumed by onions however. I realize that after reading the ingredients out loud and obviously missed the word onion. Technically I've been legally blind since I was younger than them, and even with my contacts occasionally I struggle to successfully inform myself, I would have definitely said to please hold off on the onions as well...So after paying $17 for a cookie a soda and an onion sandwich, I was pretty bummed. I politely asked the girls if they would please remake the sandwich for me... and the response I got was dumbfounding. The manager proceeded to tell me that they don't give out free sandwiches and that if I wanted a sandwich without onions from them, I need to order another one because that sandwich comes with onions. I said OK. I understand that I'm not sure how I missed that on the ingredients but I would really really appreciate if you could please remake the sandwich for me onions are a sincere deal breaker for me. She goes well we can't just waste food like that. Our store hasn't been doing very good financially and that's just a waste of food so no if you were allergic to the onions maybe but since you're not l- if you want another sandwich, you can buy one. I said wow really you're really not gonna make me a new one? it really that big of a deal, I'd be really grateful like I said it was an accident. I didn't see onions on there, which I repeated . This is about time. Pinky chimed in and said hey don't you get it? We're not gonna give you free food. I said I'm not asking for free food and she goes well. That's what it is if we were to give you a sandwich that would be free food so yeah you are asking for free food and argued with me. I said you know what, that's a shame because if your manager was here, I highly doubt they would've treated this situation like this, which at that point the brain reminded me that she was in fact, the esteemed manager of the facility and reiterated again she was not going to give me free food. I said it doesn't have to be free food you could give my sandwich that I just paid $17 for it to a homeless person and remake my sandwich with cheese meat and bread which is all I wanted any case now I'm just ranting because I'm upset and two wrongs don't make it right I told the manager she needs to rethink her managerial skills because they're lacking and for whoever is the franchise the owner, I would check your sandwich artist/sales team and maybe rethink their customer service skills because honestly the excessive onions isn't why I will not be returning, it was your extremely kind, respectful, understanding staff that pretty much treated me like I was a transient junkie from the bus stop outside-it's not cool to gang up on your only customer in the store who just paid for an onion sandwich I won't be returning to this one and I hope those two girls realize that in this world you don't get very far ganging up on people acting as if I was doing something wrong like demanding free food hopefully they go to college and do something where they don't have to deal with the public. I've come to find that if you are expected to eat in at Jimmy John's, your food is bound to taste way better but my daughter ordered me a sandwich to be delivered to our home. I like mine on the square wheat bread and this bread was as if somebody toasted it and then let it get cold. The inside of the sandwich was chaotic thrown together with multiple tomato slices to the point of hanging out of the sandwich. It was obvious that no care went into making this sandwich whatsoever. The most frustrating part is that complaints fall on deaf ears because as most people could tell you, the owner has a little to no interest in customer satisfaction. When my wife was alive, he even went as far as to curse her out over the phone. I guess I'll be looking for the next closest location and pray to God that he does not own that one as well. read more

I would give them zero stars if possible. I ordered a meal and it took over an hour and a half to get to me. I am less than 2 miles away from the shop. When the food finally got to me I got a real surprise. A flat warm coke with no ice, and even better than that, a sandwich that looked like it was stepped on and run over and dipped in water. It had two fatty dried pieces of "roast beef" a few pieces of bacon, 4 soggy pickles, two slices of battered cheese. It looked absolutely disgusting, whoever made it really had to have gone out to their way to f*ck it up that badly. Just moved here. While moving, I ordered online. My husband can't eat regular bread because of his teeth right now. He ordered a sandwich with a wrap instead of bread. I had an "unwrap" with lettuce. Everything was so good. Last week went in to order instead of doing it online. The girl at the counter was rude and very short with her responses and said we couldn't order a sandwich on a wrap unless it was one of the 3 on the menu. Prob won't go back. They make a good sandwich here and the pickles are off the charts good. I appreciate a good pickle now. The prices are decent compared to the Jersey Mikes across the way. You don't have to take out a bank loan to feed three people at JJ's like you do at JM's. They have a good selection on the menu and might even have some vegetarian/vegan options but I'm not totally sure on that. The sandwich makers are quick and I've never had a bad sub there. My coworkers and I filed a complaint and got a response not only from the owner but also the employee who failed to deliver our food to our personal phone numbers. Overpriced and they make them hidden from your view so you don't see how scrawny the sandwiches are I stopped in here to pick up a sandwich for friend of mine as that's what she wanted and of course I was paying for it with my own money and was completely shocked at the unfriendliness of the couple employees there and the fact that they make the sandwich right in front of you but yet they have the counter built so You cannot see the sandwich being made. Bad customer service!! This location recently opened up and the service is horrible! The first visit we ordered and paid, then after we received our sandwiches the employee told us that they mistakenly rang our order incorrectly. We agreed to have our order re-rang, even though we already had our food. It ended up costing another $2 which wasn't a big deal because it costs what it costs but I couldn't believe that they wouldn't take the fault and leave as is, since it was their mistake. On the second visit, we got to the counter and ordered a slim 2 with cheese. We were promptly told that we can't add cheese to a slim 2. And that it was "corporate policy". I have been ordering this exact order for years without issue at other locations. This was my first time eating at Jimmy John's. We ordered a Club Lulu. We asked them if we could get the bacon on our sandwich extra crispy. The three girls working there looked at us like we were aliens. After we finally got them to understand what we wanted, they told us they don't cook the bacon. WHAT????? Maybe it was pre-cooked, but it looked raw. Raw, cold bacon, REALLY???? Another thing was they only had French bread as a choice for sub-style bread. They did have some regular sandwich type wheat bread. We ended up taking our sandwiches home, stripping the bacon off and cooking it in the microwave oven for a minute or so. The sandwich was just okay. The bread was very dense and chewy. For a dollar more, you can go to Subway and get a sandwich twice as big. read more

Very disappointed over the terrible customer service from this location. I placed an online order and after it showed delivered but wasn't on my porch I called the restaurant and spoke to Christian. He said he would call his delivery driver and ask if she knew where it was delivered. He called me back stating she had left it on my porch and I told him, no, that's why I called because it wasn't left on my porch. He then told me to go door to door looking for my order! I said really? Is that the solution? He said yes, he was too busy to remake it and if they did it would be hours before it would be delivered at this point and to call and let him know if I don't find it. I was shocked and did go check the porches next to my house on each side, of course there was no delivery there so I called again and asked if he could resend it, he had such an attitude with me and told me he would ask his driver to go find where she dropped it off and bring it to me. Again, I was shocked! So I asked the name of the manager and he said "Christian" and I said "wait, isn't that your name?" And he said yes, I am the manager. At that point I didn't even know what to say, I was just in shock at his attitude and solutions offered, so I said ok thank you and hung up. I was never upset, never raised my voice, I understand places are short staffed and doing their best, but all I wanted was the sandwich order I paid for and the attitude and sarcasm I was met with was just really shocking. I used to order often from this location but definitely will not be back. Oh my gosh, I don't know why I love this place so much! Compared to other chain sub restaurants, I've always hated Subway, withstood Jersey Mikes, and loyally praised Quiznos, but Jimmy John's is a bit different altogether. Maybe it's the ease in ordering - there are no "sizes". Just 1 size. Love it or hate it. I love it. Maybe it's the real mayonnaise they put on their subs. I am getting so sick of the oil & vinegar trend elsewhere. Jimmy Johns tastes more like homemade. Maybe it's that they use sweet, white bread. Customer appreciation day. Tried to order one sub for someone who had lunch starting at 10:50. Told the promotion doesn't start till 11:00. Asked if I could pre-order over phone. Yes. Then told no if it's a customer appreciation special. Great customer appreciation service. No empowerment to the employees or the employees can only appreciate customer service with the confines of the box the company marketing division created; no room for pre-order or pickup 10 minutes early. I had the worst experience at this location, it really makes me want to boycott the whole franchise. I ordered through the app for extra "freaky fast" service since we were in a hurry on our road trip. I promptly received a message stating my order was ready. When I went in to pick up my order, it was no where to be found & I was informed that another customer must have picked it up by mistake. Okay, I get that's not on them. However, if you're running a business and using this hands-off method of distributing products to customers, I do feel it is the businesses responsibility to make up for the inconvenience in some way. My order went to the end of the line and I saw multiple customers come and go picking up orders while mine was being remade (incorrectly). I know other businesses would provide some sort of discount options or free visit next time, or even a simple genuine apology would do. However, the owner (Chuck) was very rude to me when I asked for some sort of compensation for the inconvenience. He snapped at me about be angry that other customers are stealing money from him, & clearly was projecting this frustration onto me. I felt completely discriminated against because of the way that he went off on me (a female and woman of color), but even if that is how he would handle the situation with any customer, it was absolutely unprofessional & the worst customer service experience! I'm still in shock that he was the owner! I was left in tears, and so my partner went in to get his name after I returned to the car. The owner proceeded to make a scene and yell at my partner, discounting the 6ft distance regulation that is in place now. My partner was humiliated in front of many customers for simply asking the owner's name. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. We all stood there at the fountain getting our drinks still when they finished our 3 large sandwiches, and found ourselves saying "wow that WAS freakishly fast"! Lol Corny but true! We had 2 Gargantuan and 1 Porky? (ham sandwich) We loved the bread, meats and cheeses. It's nice they have unsweetened tea option or sweet tea besides soda. We added bacon. That was kind of spendy at $1.99 extra which made our Gargantuans nearly $12 subs but oh so worth it plus I had enough for two meals! The fixings were sliding out from the bread it was so full! I'm a regular customer, 4-5 visits a week. What keeps me coming back is the staff, the convenient location, and the impeccable tidiness of the restaurant. Service is mind blowingly fast, the bread is faultless, there's almost no end to the diversity of sandwiches you can order, and their bacon is just one step removed from legendary status. I highly recommend whatever sandwich you choose, you add bacon to that bad boy, and you can thank me after you've picked your face up off the spotless floor because it just just blown off by bacon. The crew here is always great. I prefer the LATE afternoon crew over the early afternoon though. Joe and his staff are always pleasant and smiling. From the customers perspective, they seem to enjoy what they are doing. I "seriously struggle" with my order...but the gang is ALWAYS there to offer ideas. This place just opened near me and I have been waiting to go but I was so disappointed. The customer service was horrible and was told I had to order my sandwich straight from the menu with no changes. Where have you ever heard of that??
