Didn't matter to Aaron - he tried all his tricks - live bait, jigs, moved around to different spots. We caught a few. The real fun came with the jug lines:) I had told Aaron we actually prefer catfish so if he could set some jugs we would love to take home a bunch of catfish. We pulled some big ones out of the lake! He cleans everything and bags it for you - just provide the cooler to take it all home. Aaron met us at 7am and we didn't return to the marina until about 4. This was fine for the boys - they can use the bathroom over the side of the boat - ladies be warned! I'm sure he would have take taken me back but... Also it is always cooler on the water than you think it will be! Aaron has a great boat and top notch equipment - we will definitely use him again!

We are moving from an area where I have access to a wildlife management area directly from my barn, and it took me a while to find a place close to Rockwall that has the same. I was so happy when I found Horseshoe Cross'n Ranch because it is a wonderful place for my horse, as well as having access to trails directly across the road in a wildlife preserve. If you are looking for a place to board your best friend, or even if you are looking to start horseback riding for the first time, Horseshoe Cross'n Ranch is the place to be. Rosie is an experienced equestrian, ranch owner/manager and instructor. A short 30 minute ride from Rockwall gets you to this wonderful ranch.
