We did catch a couple of 1-2 ponders so I guess that meets his guarantee?? 2/3 the way through the trip our second boat breaks down. So instead of Dan coming out to tow it in they pulled our boat. So we had 7 people who did not get to fish their full time paid for. Dan was at dock and was only interested in the broken boat. Did not talk with us about lost time or guarantee. Just looked at my guide and said "well I gotta go" and left. I have fished with guides in several states and countries. Dan Barnett rates among the lowest. Would not recommend him to anyone.

Didn't matter to Aaron - he tried all his tricks - live bait, jigs, moved around to different spots. We caught a few. The real fun came with the jug lines:) I had told Aaron we actually prefer catfish so if he could set some jugs we would love to take home a bunch of catfish. We pulled some big ones out of the lake! He cleans everything and bags it for you - just provide the cooler to take it all home. Aaron met us at 7am and we didn't return to the marina until about 4. This was fine for the boys - they can use the bathroom over the side of the boat - ladies be warned! I'm sure he would have take taken me back but... Also it is always cooler on the water than you think it will be! Aaron has a great boat and top notch equipment - we will definitely use him again!

He new how to work with the boys, got them totally excited, and after 3 hours we had caught 72 fish - 1 catfish and mostly striper and sand bass. You may find this hard to believe, but it is true- The first trip I took with Travis in December of 2016 we caught and released 84 stripers between the two of us in four hours and in 6 different spots on the lake, I have been fishing with live bait with Travis, Trolling, and casting, and he has always been able to locate the fish and figure out what they will hit. the least fish we have caught and released in any of the 6 four-hour trips was 35 fish, and that was because I wimped out and asked to go in early. IMHO Travis is as good a guide as you will ever find.
