Love Jimmie! Called to get an estimate, he came out quickly, gave a good quote and promptly sent an email estimate. Once we scheduled the work he arrived on time, was super communicative and did a great (and quick) job. Once the work was done, Jimmie even came back to do some extra detailing and planted some plants that I hadn't yet had a chance to put in the ground. More importantly, Jimmie and his brother were so friendly and great to work with. HIRE THEM! read more

He and his team are AWESOME. Very kind and courteous. They did exactly what I needed and a little extra. I will definitely hire him again!

This is my second time working with this family business (first time was with Jimmie's Tree Service). All I can continue to say is WOW! I am consistently impressed with this company. Anyone in southern CA knows about the wet winter we've experienced this past year. Of course this caused a significant amount of weeds we couldn't keep up with. I had been going back and forth on whether I should hire someone or just do it myself (knowing it would take longer and wouldn't be nearly as professional) just to get it done. Then I got a call from Jimmie Jr. following up on a job they'd done for me when I first purchased last September. Perfect timing! He scheduled an assessment of the work and was able to complete same day! Professional, timely, efficient, and fair pricing. These are the only ones I'd call for my yard and future maintenance. I'm gladly looking to refer to my own family members in the city. read more

I have several palm trees, including one huge one, that haven't been cleaned in years. Another tree trimmer looked at them and my other overgrown trees and rolled his eyes, complained about how bad it all was, and simply said "this is gonna cost you". So for months I was afraid to get another estimate, but when Jimmie came over, he just smiled and figured out a plan. He even worked out how to trim my bird of paradise and yucca trees, saying "we'll just give em some love". He sorted out how to get everything into shape... And the price was very competitive and fair. The crew came on time (he even called to say he was on his way)... All super friendly guys. They worked hard, finished up quickly and left everything nice and clean. The trees were shaped nicely and didn't look "scalped"... Very, very nice. Thanks, Jimmie! read more

I contacted Jimmie's because their ad said they did junk hauling. When I explained that they needed to pick up a demolished fence, I was asked lots of questions regarding whether or not they would be doing the demo work. When I explained it was only a junk haul away, the price I was quoted was $1200. That is over 6 times what I wound up paying. When I explained on a phone call that their price was very high and that I had been quoted much less, I was told to use the other company. read more

Jimmie did work in the front and the backyard of my house. He came quickly when we first called for a quote, had fair pricing, and and got the work done fast. Hard workers- him and his team. Once completed, there was a little additional work we wanted in a few parts of the yard that he came back quickly and happily and did at no extra charge. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was as we wanted it. Really good guy. Appreciate his team and their hard work. read more

Jimmie and his colleague were so great. He responded super quickly and provided a very reasonable quote. He showed up on time and carefully removed a large tree that was causing issues with pipelines, and used a machine to quickly get rid of a bunch of tree roots. They filled in the gaps and left the place very clean. Jimmie was friendly and so accommodating to some last minute requests. You could tell he was extremely knowledgeable about trees, identified different ones right away, and knew how to fix issues without leaving behind any damage. Our front and backyard look so clean and smooth now. :) Would 100% recommend him and use his expertise again in the future!! read more

Jimmie and his crew showed up on time and trimmed my Ficus trees. The price was reasonable and I will definitely be calling on them again for future trimming. Thank you Jimmie! read more

Jimmie was a pleasure to work with. Got a same day estimate on removing some trees in my backyard. Work was done the next day. Will definitely recommend him to anyone! read more

HIRE THEM! Stop looking and just hire them. Jimmie is everything you wish a contractor was and more. He and his brother are true gems in their industry. I dealt mostly with Jimmie as my husband spent more time with all the guys doing the work, but Jimmie is Amazing! He's professional, responsive, informative, kind, honest, fair, efficient, and always smiling. You can tell he loves what he does and it's in his blood. He bid my fairly large project with an honest and fair price and a few days later he showed up with the cavalry. We thought it would be a 2.5 day job and they finished in about 6 hours. Jimmie had 3 climbers for our 5 different 100 foot Ponderosa Pine trees (they were impressive!) and a number of other guys who were working and trimming the trees and hedges on our 11,500 square foot property (which is 90% yard). They cleaned up diligently and the quality of their work was top notch. Like I said... hire them now! We're already asking Jimmie to bid on the next project. read more

I was outside with my puppy yesterday and ran into a nice young gentleman, Jimmie, distributing his biz card for Tree and yard beautification service. My good luck as my very tall Palm trees badly needed a haircut and cleaning up. He sent me an estimate immediately that night and called in the morning to confirm his arrival. His work was terrific! When he suggested he could beautify the dwarf palms In the front and showed me an example I engaged him for that right away too. On top of it all he has a cheerful and positive attitude sometimes lacking these days. His prices are fair and competitive. read more

Jimmie Jr. and his team were very professional, punctual, and affordable. He had great communication and his team was very efficient; all at a great price. 10/10, would call again. Thanks, Jimmie! read more

Jimmie did two jobs for us. First he cut down a dead tree in our patio, and removed the tree stump without damaging our beautiful flagstones. After we saw how well he did, we asked him if he could cut back a huge branch from our neighbor's tree that hangs over our property and sheds a million of those little hard "acorns"....He had to come back for the second job, and, like the first time, he did an amazing job. Our neighbor too was thrilled to have found Jimmie. Jimmie was on time for both jobs, and besides being a super nice guy, he did a great job. He's from Hawaii, which makes communication easy, and he really knows what he's doing. His work is A+, his fee was very reasonable, and we are highly recommending him. Definitely will use him again. read more

Just had Jimmie and his professional crew over to remove some large trees and ivy and not only was his estimate lower than other companies but he showed up early to the job and made the entire process so simple. Definitely recommend! https://jimmiestreecompany.com/ read more

I needed help with several large overgrown trees that had never been professionally trimmed in 30+ years. Jimmie was really easy to communicate with. He met with me to discuss the job the same day I reached out and was able to provide a quote right away. He was knowledgeable and offered different options. I especially appreciated his communication during the 2-day job, which involved the removal of a large tree too close to our house. He sent me progress photos/videos since I was not on site. He was professional, courteous, and friendly. I highly recommend Jimmie and his team! read more

Jimmy showed up right on the agreed upon time. Had my stump removed BY HIMSELF in less than 20 minutes. This guy is a treasure. If you want quality work with efficiency call Jimmy, or you can call some hack who will rip you off and be miserable. read more

Jimmie had a very quick response time and a reasonable quote. He was short on crew the day my tree was scheduled for removal but he came out and did the job himself! He even hauled away some cuttings from a small tree I had trimmed. Great service- I will use him next time and recommend him 100%. read more

Came on time and did good work. Removed two olive trees for me and now my yard looks huge! Friendly and responsive. Will hire again!

I have never had my trees removed, but Jimmie & his brother Joe were on time, very nice & do a wonderful job! I am so happy with their work. I would recommend them to my friends &family! I will call them when I need more lawn work done. Fairly priced too. read more

Jimmie is cordial, professional, knowledgeable, reliable and competent. And his prices are reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company and I won't hesitate to call again as the need arises. I hired the company last year to manicure two Chinese elm trees. This year, a fire next door devastated my landscape. Jimmie's Tree Company cleaned up three large trees that were badly burned (including the two Chinese elms). It also cut down 22 trees that could not be saved, including 20 Italian cypress trees. And all roots were ground out. All done in less than a day and a half. And clean up was immaculate. It's so comforting to have such a great service on my go to list. read more

Jimmie and his team are fantastic. He got back to my inquiry so quickly and was able to check out my yard the same day. I had a quote later that night; 2 days later the work is done! I don't know if his schedule's always this open (and with so many 5 star reviews it's bound to fill up), but it sure worked out for us this week. I've had our trees done by others in the past and gotten other quotes, so I know his price was fair. His whole team was professional and courteous the whole time they were here--which wasn't that long, considering how much needed to be done. Finally, the results are fabulous. They topped my lime tree, cleaned up & shaped my overgrown bougainvillea, pruned my queen palms, took out two big bushes, some old dead growth, and a couple volunteer tree saplings, and beautified my giant birds of paradise so they look just gorgeous. I'm so pleased I found Jimmie and his team and will totally hire them again. read more

Loved how responsive they were!! Jimmie and Jimmie Jr. were super helpful, friendly, wearing masks, and professional when they came out to my property. Professional, knowledgeable, punctual. Jimmie and his team were always there for us when we needed help with our yard. They took out trees and roots there were endangering our concrete work in the back of our property, suggested the best options for replanting, and took care of the whole process A to Z, with a smile. Jimmie and his brother did a fantastic job trimming our palm trees. They both were very professional and helpful in assessing and completing the job in a timely manner.
