Snow day! We visited Bennington, VT and Jiminy Peak the other day since it snowed a bit. I haven't been to this mountain in years but the mountain was super cute and they had some fun trails. We also picked up some Heady Topper in Vermont and had some yummy food of course.

Friends went for skiing and we tagged along just to look around in the resort. Beautiful slope run view past the ski village. The village has cafe, restaurant, lodge and shops that everyone could enjoy. We had a wonderful time during the short stay. We saw how organized the staff in accommodating skiers to get in and start the day. Friends enjoyed the various slopes trail and its ski lift as storied when we meet up afterwards. Amazing how the resort thought of its ski pass scannable even it is inside the pocket. The pass each one of our friends had was the 4 hr which is averagely reasonable for the price and time limit is good enough. Beautiful resort. Will cine bs I for summer adventure.

We have been here several times and always a fun place to stay. The staff here is great, especially Bill at the front desk who has been there a long time.

    evidence of abuse towards employees

I have never visited this place, but I came across a sign that was hung in the facilities (it was posted online), addressing their employees. I found this to be not only incredibly harsh and demanding but i'm pretty sure it's illegal. If I have the wrong place let me know but I personally think this is unacceptable. I'll let you read it and decide for yourself ‍

I'm a novice skier. Loved my experience at Jiminy Peak. Lots of great runs and every lift has one or more fairly easy ways down the mountain. The easier runs tend to be extra beautiful, as they are long and tree-lined. Signage is clear. Lots of nice touches like tissues for your sniffles at the lifts. The equipment rental was especially good. Quality equipment, very efficient operations, and competent staff. The hotel is comfortable enough, though its age shows. Some maintenance issues, but serviceable for a ski weekend. The food facilities were quite good and not as overpriced as some resorts.

Had a wonderful time here with friends. Skii for beginners and pros as well as kids. Instructors are hit or miss but overall good experience. John Harvard's restaurant is on the 3rd floor and food is nice. Just prepare yourselves for longer waiting to be seated and for food to come in. Also, skii village is amazing but bit higher on $$ side. If you are on the budget, then make sure to use all the amenities in your rooms to save money on food. We didn't use it too much. Maybe for breakfasts only.. Would be coming here again every year!

Went here for a visit in the summer so we got a great rate on the room. They have a few pools and even a kiddie pool which was nice. The room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. It absolutely beautiful from the outside. The inside was huge and the hallways reminded me of "The Shining" I thought a kid with a big wheel would Run me over at any second. They had a game room in the basement which provided good entertainment. You could walk through the compound and find tons of stuff to do, ropes course, playground, bounce house, and adults swing to name a few. We will definitely be back!

It was not perfect, but 4 of us stayed comfortably and we easily could have hosted 4 others although maybe less comfortably. Check-in and service we received were great. We called twice before coming, one call was better (a middle aged male I think) and one was less than optimistic (younger female) but the person did seem to warn us that they would try to get is to our unit by the 4pm check in time. Honestly, I don't fault someone setting expectations correctly so I didn't hold this against them-I prefer truth and by being a little concerned maybe that made me pleasantly surprised when they were prepared to let us in before 4pm (but we did arrive later than we would have had the lady not warned us). Also noteworthy - every conversation we had with guest services were very pleasant and there was ALWAYS someone or multiple people at the desk. This was in early to mid May just to give you context. The unit itself was well appointed if a little tired in some places (couch was a bit dated as were some of the dinning room chairs) but the kitch and baths seemed good, save low water pressure and hot water taking a bit to come up as someone else mentioned. Heating unit was good, never tried the A/C. All the locks, cable/TV, stoves, etc. worked flawlessly (minus a crack in a carafe that must have been there prior to our arrival), we were even able to hook up a streaming stick in one of the units (not the other because of the model of the TV) which helped us enjoy the unit a lot in the evenings. The Pool and Jacuzzi were fantastic. The temp of the Jacuzzi was warm-like it should be-so I do recommend either getting out as advised after 20-30 mins or going into the pool to cool off a bit before going back. I'm sure the timing of our visit was key but our party used the facilities several times before anyone else were using them-I wouldn't expect this but we tried to go at dinner time to have some time to ourselves and we got lucky every time...and that worked well as we are late eaters. The location we are use to because we have stayed down the road at the now closed Bentley Brook (which we loved) and love the location of the resort in Hancock. Due note, for almost anything you have a 15-30 minute drive to Pittsfield, Williamstown, etc. on the East Side of the mountain the place is nesteld or Stephenstown and New Lebanon to the West/Southwest. We have stayed in the Berkshires a lot over the years and really like this quiet area. We tend to take road trips on nice weather days and have been virtually every direction in a circe about 1.5 hours. Other than the obvious close towns of Williamstown, North Adams, Pittsfield, Lenox and New Lebanon (which has a few close decent/good restauants) we recommend day trips to Albany, Great Barrington, Bennington VT and Hudson/Catskill NY. Saratoga and Lake George are a little farther and would require a long day but are doable from there if you are ambitious. Def would stay here again in a few years...but we have been to the Berkshires in most seasons and are good on it now for a bit. Hope this helps someone make the decision.

This was my first visit to Club Wyndham at Bentley Brook (my second stay as a Wyndham club member)…read more I was very excited to check out this property because I'd seen it last year on a trip to the Berkshires but wasn't yet a member. Check in was smooth and front desk staff very helpful and ready to answer questions. With a 4:00pm check in time on Sunday; we threw our stuff into the room and ventured out to find a place for dinner. Upon our return to the room, we were very pleased with the accommodations. Our master bedroom had a king bed, ample pillows and a nicely appointed 2 person Jacuzzi tub. The shower and toilet was separated by a door. The vanity was large and I would've appreciated a double sink; but we made due. The kitchen and dining, living room area was open floor plan and the couch was not comfortable but ultimately we weren't actually watching alot of TV. All the rooms had TVs with a good compliment of cable channels. Second bedroom had two full size beds that were more than suitable for my guests. Their bathroom was also acceptable. My only gripes were that the Quisinart coffee maker seriously took 30 minutes to brew coffee (it's quicker to go to the lobby and get their free coffee in the morning!), the oversized light above dining table should be on a dimmer switch (as I felt like I was being interrogated on Law&Order sitting under it) and the lightswitch in our room turned on both the ceiling fixture AND the vanity lights (too much light!) and the safety locks on the bedroom window were annoying because I could only open it 3 inches at night. I was also disappointed that the mountain coaster and Alpine slide (and other rides) at the neighboring Jiminy Peak were not in operation during the week (weekends only this time of year) but that has no bearing on Club Wyndham. We enjoyed the on site amenities; utilized the Sauna every morning during our stay, the Indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzis. I also want to commend one employee in particular; Aaron. We had sat outside the first night by the fire pit (to enjoy some cigars) and he stopped by to assist us in starting the fire. We conversed with him and he genuinely appreciated his job and the opportunity with Wyndham. He was a very generous young man and a gentle, kind soul. Made that part of our evening even more enjoyable. I will definitely be coming back to Bentley Brook again. (But next time I'll book a Thursday through Sunday) as it can be challenging finding lunch and dinner options Mon-Wed.

This mountain has the absolute worst management of any ski mountain I have ever been to. My family and I first discovered this mountain last year. So last year after having visited for an early year day ski trip we made plans to stay nearby for a couple of nights and ski a couple of days. Literally, the evening before we were set to arrive they called me to inform me that the mountain would be closed the next day as they were having problems with their lifts. Obviously, we were extremely upset having paid for a non-refundable hotel stay. I explained this to them and they were completely nonplussed. They acted as if though they were doing me a favor by refunding me my tickets....because they were closing the mountain. I spoke to one of their managers and she was absolutely unsympathetic. She simply could not care less. It was incredible. That was the last time we visited that mountain for the season. Fast forward to TODAY. I thought the above was a fluke. So I booked night skiing for my son and I. For TODAY at 3PM. They literally called me at 12:45p TODAY, while we were on our way driving up to tell me that they had canceled night skiing because...."it's going to be cold". No sh$& Sherlock. It's a ski mountain. What were you people expecting??? I skied Killington about a month ago. And it was around 3 degrees when we arrived to the mountain. Guess what, they were open. But, beyond this the people at Catamount actually called me 1 hour and 15 minutes before my ski time. To. Cancel!! WTF is wrong with these people. They didn't know it was going to be cold yesterday or the day before that or days before?!!! Come the f' on?!?! Again, they were completely nonplussed. The unprofessionalism and complete insensitivity for their customers is staggering. After this, I don't think we'll ever go back. Actually, I was planning to go with a group of friends this Friday. I think we'll go to another mountain. The management of this mountain sucks. You have been warned. Update: so they refunded my tickets. But, get this. They are still charging me a "booking fee". Can you frikin believe it?!?! They canceled on ME and they are trying to charge me a booking fee!!! Again, WTF?!?!?! The management at this mountain is the ABSOLUTE WORST!!!! DO NOT GO HERE!
