We hired Joseph to cut down two dead pine trees and grind the stumps on March 27, 2025. He was then to help us find 2 replacement trees and plant them. He was prompt in showing up to cut down and remove the dead trees. He came back very early in the morning to do the stump grinding. We were still sleeping, so unable to go out and check on work. We paid him additional money to do this, even though the original "contract" included grinding the stumps. His employees broke a drain pipe when wheeling the dead tree to their truck. He said he'd come back very soon and fix it. It is now June and we have not heard back from him. When we try to call him, his voice mail is full! We had a new landscape firm provide us replacement trees and do the planting. They charged us an extra $100 per tree because Jimenez Tree Removal did not grind the stumps the way they should have - they only went down a few inches. Our drain pipe is still cracked. We do not recommend hiring this company - they will over charge and not do the work they promised. read more

Joseph at Jimenez Tree Service was the first to respond to my request and provided a bid within 24 hours. He patiently waited while I got HOA approval to remove a 30ft Blue Spruce tree. He was on site within 24 hours after I gave him the go ahead. He and his crew were fast and cleaned up not only the shavings and debri from the cut, but also 20 years worth of pine needle build up underneath the tree. They ground the stump and you would never know a tree was ever there. He sent me photos all during the process since I live out of state. This is my second experience with Joseph/Jimenez Tree Service.We used their services two years ago and had a really good experience. I left a 5 star review for them then, and I'm going to do the same here. I'll just hit the basics that you all are interested in. This time, we had two trees in our backyard trimmed. They were in desperate need of trimming. Branches were hanging over our fence into our neighbors' yards. One tree had a limb actually touching the ground. The second tree was starting to concern us as it was coming close to rubbing against the house. 1) Price. I won't paint them into a corner on a quote, but Joseph was, again, the best quote we received out of three. Significantly so. We saved a good deal of money over other companies' quotes. 2) Professionalism. They were able to get us scheduled just a few days after the first visit. They provided us with the quote and documentation of insurance in a timely fashion. They showed up on time. The entire crew was courteous and professional. Their cleanup of debris from our yard and our neighbor's yards was thurough. It is always a relief when you entrust a project to someone else, and it goes off without a hitch. We will enjoy several years before our trees will need another trim. I will absolutely reach out to Jimenez Tree Service again when that time comes. read more

Jimenez Tree Service just completed the takedown and removal of a full-grown honey locust that was hanging dangerously over our roof and between power lines. They are incredibly responsive, prompt, quick and safe with the work and thorough with the cleanup. I was incredibly impressed with how well they took on this challenging tree, and shocked with how quickly they finished. AVOID! I would pay this company to never come near my house again. They are one of the most unprofessional and discourteous companies I've ever encountered. 1. They began work on my neighbor's property at 7:45 AM, cutting down a 50-foot pine tree. With no notice, they started with chainsaws and a commercial woodchipper and continued all day long, despite numerous complaints from neighbors. They refused to postpone their work to a different day. 2. This company does NOT use an enclosed truck for their woodchipper! Any reputable tree cutting service will use an enclosed truck bed so sawdust doesn't go flying. Jimenez Tree Service does not. That means that thousands of pounds of sawdust flew into the air, covering my car and house. I had windows open in both, including in my baby's room. Sawdust was everywhere. If you need to have a tree removed, do a quick search on other tree removal services in Denver. You'll see pictures - all the reputable companies use enclosed trucks to capture the sawdust. 3. When I asked them to take care of the sawdust, they were incredibly rude, refusing to cover their truck, even with a sheet or tarp, claiming they were the same as Mother Nature on a windy day. Finally, the supervisor offered to clean my house windows and said the company owner would get in touch with me. The supervisor did give me money to have my car cleaned, so I appreciated that minimal gesture. 4. The company owner never contacted me. After a day or two, I texted him. Then I texted again. Then a week later, I finally heard back and he said he'd call me in another week to have a discussion. I said there was nothing to discuss and asked for him to send someone to clean the windows the following day, as was already offered. He then called me rude and disgusting. Despite their promise of cleaning my windows, they never showed up and never even contacted me again. They never even apologized. 5. They left debris and trash around, including logs on the street overnight. I had to ask the supervisor to pick up an empty Gatorade bottle right next to him, which his crew had thrown onto the sidewalk. read more

We had mature trees that had been neglected for over 20 years.
