Purchased two different Kia from them and the first one had some problems so they fixed it for cheaper prices and I got 2nd one I got rlly good deal on it for solid 10,000$ for 30,000 miles on it. The deal seemed too good to be true, but the interior was in a great condition as well as the exterior. Worked with Caleb and after purchasing the car, he checked up on me twice to make sure everything was okay! read more

I went there for water in the tail light, they said I needed to replace a whole section of the back of the car for hundreds of dollars. I took it to a local mechanic, B and D auto on terrance drive, and he fixed it for much less by drilling a hole. Kia put my brakes on backwards, when I came back mentioning noise, they said they couldnt find anything wrong. B and D discovered the backwards brakes. I got a tune up and I believe my transmission fluid has started leaking now. After waiting weeks to go back since this is an expensive and warrantied repair, I will see what happens. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Don't go to this Kia location except your life depends on it. Right after we signed the contract to purchase a Kia Sorento, it has been bad customer experience. read more

our "check engine" light came on 4 different times and scheduling for it to be checked was a nightmare. We were actually told that while we waited for an appointment, we could ignore it if it wasn't flashing. If it started to flash, we'd have to have it towed in. We took it in 3 times and each time were told that the light was a result of a faulty sensor and that there was actually nothing wrong. One of those times, we had a very long wait for an appointment because the shop was actually closed to catch up on repairs. We were told to take it to Advance auto to have the code read, since Kia couldn't schedule us for about 5 weeks. At THAt appointment, we were no longer told that this was not a problem that could be ignored (as we were previously told) the light was determined to mean that we actually needed a repair involving a replacement part - the total bill was $600. Our previous visits were during the course of the warranty. The last visit - the one that cost us $600 when the problem was finally detected, the warranty had expired (by year, but not by mileage which is very low - but definitely expired) Complaining that the need for the work should have been detected during an earlier visit was met with no concern or consideration. read more

Car was obviously having issues b4 i got it. Check engine light was on within 2 weeks of purchase. And of course, they cant find anything and dont kno why the check engine light is on. A week or so later the light is back on. Now they can finally read the code and of course a good chunk of it isn't covered. Mind u I just made my 1st car payment a few days ago. 500 dollar bill!!!!! And I get well these two things are covered and these two aren't. Yea I bet. How convenient. Never tf again. read more

I bought a used Kia from Jim Shorkey Kia in May 2025. I was assured by our salesman (Nick) that it had been through a Kia inspection in OH and a second one when they took possession in PA. He was so positive it would pass the state inspection that was up in Aug. he threw the first one in for free. So August rolls around and I'm given the run around from the service center so I give up and go to my trusted mechanic who FAILS it. So we take it for a second opinion and that shop FAILS it. Said the frame is so rotted one pothole and the tire rod could snap and he advised us not to drive it in the highway. Jim Shorkey kept our car for longer than we had owned it, then charged us hundreds of dollars for the repair that they should have caught- TWICE. Then to add insult to injury they finally did the inspection and overcharged us for a "much needed" reflector on the bumper that apparently wasn't necessary when they sold us the car with it cracked. I know used cars have issues but this car should have been scrapped for parts. I will never ever buy from Jim Shorkey. EVER. Take your money elsewhere and get everything in writing!!! read more

Avoid this place. Offered me a disgustingly low trade-in offer, went across the street to Cochran Mazda and they doubled it. Gave me better rates on top of it. This place is antiquated in their style of business, using typical car salesman tactics. Need to get with the times and understand that their competitors are taking a customer-friendly approach. Brandon Fabian has continued to email me, with half-effort Chat GPT sales pitches. He uses clickbait tactics, even writing "Your Duquesne Light Bill" as his subject line to get you to click. And good luck unsubscribing, lol. Brandon didn't even show me all the cars I asked about - when I asked to test drive a used car on the lot, he either forgot about it or didn't care enough to look for the keys. TLDR; predatory tactics and terrible rates. Poor trade-in value for used cars. Just head across the street, as I did, and you'll be much happier. Oh, and avoid Brandon. Apparently he's in charge of your Duquesne Light Bill. read more

Great Deal, Poor Follow-Through I drove from Ohio to this dealership to purchase a car, and initially, everything seemed perfect. The communication was clear, and they offered the best deal I could find on the vehicle. However, fast forward 60 days--and now my car is parked and undrivable due to expired tags. I've emailed both the sales manager and the salesperson with no response. I've also called twice--again, no reply. I eventually emailed the General Manager, who at least responded, but I'm still waiting for any meaningful follow-up. Meanwhile, my wife's brand-new car just sits in the driveway with expired tags. If you're local, your experience might go more smoothly. But for out-of-state buyers, I have zero confidence that things will be handled properly after the sale. read more

Worst experience of my life with these guys. Leased an EV9 from here. Immediately after taking home and driving for a little bit I found that that it had a major issue. Immediately reached out to sales, obviously they didn't help and said to reach out to service. I did go to service and proved them that the issue is there. They gave me an appointment after a week. During that I witnessed people who work there trying to take any kind of accountability and argued with each other about they can't deal with this right now and how they are busy with some other stuff. They were literally wandering around in the service area. That's when I realized I am not gonna have a good time with this whole thing and man I was so right about it. After a week I go there to drop the car off and they refuse to give a loaner even though a week ago I proved them that the vehicle had an issue from their lot/factory. I had to pay out of pocket for 2 weeks of rental. After 2 week I reached out again and asked for loaner and they finally provided me 1. Let's talk timeline of this whole nightmare: Leased: Early Nov 2024 Informed them about the issue: within couple days Dropped of for repair: about 2 Weeks later (Mid nov 2024) Got Loaner: After 2.5/3 weeks later Number of days car simply sits in their lot: more than a month they think tires are bad: after 2 months Ordered tires: 2 months and promised they will install as soon as they come in Tires arrived : Told me they can;'t put them on before they get tire manufacturer pay for them and tell me will take 2 weeks After 2 weeks I follow up: They tell me that they never said 2 weeks and would take 4 to 6 weeks for each claim and in each claim they can only claim for 2 tires. So they expect me to wait another 2 to 3 months. It's about 2 and a half months since my car is in their shop. Neither KIA corporate nor this dealership is helpful. Sales guy who I purchased doesn't even bother to respond. I even have reached out to their general manager and department managers via email but got crickets. I would urge anyone who is considering buying from these people, please do your DD before you make a decision. If you ever have a problem, consider you are screwed if you bought it from here. Not saying that the car will breakdown but in case if it does, KIA wexford will not help you in any way or form. Consider going somewhere where you will be valued. read more

Thank you for your great service! We will be coming to you for our next Kia since your service is so great.

DO NOT SELL YOUR CAR TO SHORKEY KIA OF WEXFORD. THEY WILL NOT PAY OFF YOUR LOAN AND YOU WILL BE STUCK MAKING THE PAYMENTS AFTER THEY HAVE POSSESSION OF YOUR CAR. I do not post reviews often, but I cannot let other people experience what I have. I wish I would have read the reviews on this dealership before I chose to buy and sell a car with them. Shorkey Kia of Wexford bought my Nissan Rogue on Jan 2nd 2024 and was supposed to pay off my lease to Nissan. That didn't happen and then another payment was due Jan 21st. I had to make the payment or it would have put a mark on my credit. I had sold Shorkey Kia the car 20 days before that and I'm making the payment. I wasn't too worried since I assumed they would just reimburse me when they finally paid it off. Well that still hasn't happened, and I've called at least 20 times and spoke to 3 different managers, the finance manager and the accountant Ashely. It is now over 3 months later and I still have never received the extra payment that I made after I didn't even own the car anymore. Shorkey Kia gave me the run around and passed the ball back and forth until they told me that Nissan should refund me. I spoke to Nissan, on the first call by the way, and they were very transparent and helpful and gave me all of the numbers that I needed. They even said if Kia can show that they overpaid, from the number they were showing, Nissan would refund them. I have continued to call and email Shorkey Kia with no help. The worst part is that I have spoken to all of the sales managers, so they are aware of the issue and no one is taking it upon themselves to make this right. It is astonishing how no one in a leadership position has enough pride for their brand or their reputation to want to get this resolved. They just keep telling me that they will check with someone else and get back to me, and then nothing happens. Please don't get stuck paying for a car you already sold a month before! Don't buy or sell from Shorkey Kia in Wexford. read more

In short, I came from out of state and had a deal understanding with the dealer for a used car. After driving 4 hours, they call to let me know they don't in fact have the title in hand and cannot sell to me. I get there and we confirm that they would hold the car until they hear back of when they'll receive the title from the bank. After a week of minimal updates, they stopped responding or answering my calls, texts, or emails and I found out they sold the car to someone else and didn't let me know. Watch out for mismanagement, miscommunication, and don't trust any agreement in good faith as they don't have any. read more

DO. NOT. BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER! I bought a 2022 Kia K5 from this dealer a year ago. After only 3 months I get a check engine light on. I lost my AC, Heat, front and rear defrost. it took the service department 9 months to be able to diagnose it. They order the part and it took them 2 additional months to get me an appointment to repair it. Service day finally comes and I'm feeling hopeful that I may finally get to enjoy driving a car that I bought a year ago, only to find out that they misdiagnosed it! ok. so we order the correct part. They call and leave a message that the new part is in. Now I've been calling them everyday to schedule for the last 3 weeks and they still have not returned a single call!! read more

Recently had a really good experience with Jalen (sales) and the rest of the team at Jim Shorkey Kia in Wexford. Bought a used car that was inspected and corrected to the hilt. Received an extensive car fax report about the vehicle, and a listing of all the inspections and maintenance that the dealership had done to the vehicle. Jalen and the entire team were responsive and transparent in every way. It made the buying process an overall good experience. read more

They sold me a car that was a trade in and they told me I'm not allowed to test drive off lot. And I bought and took to a license mechanic and he said I do not need to drive a car. The car wouldn't have killed me if I would've kept on driving it there was so many things wrong with the car. The brakes pants were down. It was so much with this car, I do not recommend to buy a used car without driving on the road or gonna take it to someone to look at that's the biggest mistake I ever ever made in my life and I will not do it again read more

The tension on my seat belt retractor was looser than it should have been. Over the weekend I went to get gas and the seat belt clasp got stuck in the door. The door was locked and wouldn't open yet the electronics recognized it as door open and warning bells kept going off and at each stop sign, red light, and traffic stop the car we would go into park. Also I couldn't wear the seat belt. Over 20 years ago I was in a horrific car accident when I was hit from behind by a tractor trailer and wearing a seat belt saved my life. I was in my way to festival when this happened so I turned around and drove home. Using the passenger door to get out. Kia Connect sent me to a dealer that was 8 miles from my home. They would not help me except to say they could get me in 8 days from now. I didn't buy my car at thar dealer because they didn't have a hybrid Sportage at the time. In three days I have to drive over 1,000 miles to an out of State wedding. I asked the lady what could she do she said not a thing for 8 days. I drove the car an hour to Jim Shorkey Kia Wexford where Kimmi and Montana work in service. I have them the same information and they said they would take a look at it. They said it might take a long while since they were real busy but they understood my situation. Within 30 minutes they called me and said the car was open and the seat belt was fixed. They said the tech manager had to have the door pushed and pulled at the same time. Then they adjusted the malfunctioning seat belt retractor. Kimmi and Montana deserve 5 plus ratings while the lady at the first Kia dealer deserves negative numbers. Also kudos to the tech who fixed it too. read more

Started with an engine that used a ton of oil. Took the car here to see what the issue was. The process started we had to pay $80 for an oil change. Drive for 1000 miles. It used 0.7 quarts of oil. Said it was not enough to do anything. So a month later it starts using more oil. Back to Kia. Another $80 oil change. Drive it again for 1000 miles. Now it uses over a quart of oil mind you this car only has 60,000 miles. They say they have a treatment they can do. They do the treatment and in the process they burn the starter up and tell us we need to pay $100 for the deductible. The starter gave no indication that it was going bad before they had it. We drive it another 1000 miles and once again it is drinking oil like its a two stroke. They decide to put a engine in it. The guy we talked to said it would be a couple weeks to get the motor. We call in a couple weeks and no engine. after a couple months and many unanswered or returned calls they say they have one. While we had it in we told them that the drivers back window was not working properly. They said they would order the part. After months of calling and no return calls we finally get through to someone. They say they have no record of it. So now we take it back in and they diagnose it and have to order a part. They the panel they took off was not secured properly and we had to put it back on the way it was supposed to be. Along with that the drivers door switch is broken. We take the car back once the part was in and guess what wrong part! Now we sit and wait for the part to come and hope that they call us to let us know it is in. I will never go to another Shorkey dealership and I will never buy a Kia again. Worst experience I have ever had with and dealer. read more

After finding a couple key people to complain to, I was able to get the battery reimbursed. Shouldn't have been this hard.

If I can give a 0 star, I would. Let me just recap the 4 hrs at Wexford Kia just to pick up my family's car. Got rushed by the general manager to pick it up and it wasn't even ready due to a bunch of UNFORTUNATE BUT AVOIDABLE MISHAPS. Let me just start with the only good things to happen. Randy was very knowledgeable and kind. I don't think he was doing sales assistant stuff today but he helped us out with introducing us to the car. Very sweet guy. Luca, our actual sales guy, also very sweet and chill. I just want to EMPHASIZE this is NOT 1 PERSON's FAULT. This is a MANAGEMENT ISSUE AND WHATEVER is behind the scenes with the service and cleaning car departments' issue. Punishing just 1 person won't solve the issue. Word of advice, PLEASE LABEL THE KEYS BETTER. Shadow matte gray and gravity gray color is very different but both keys just says gray which caused confusion. We were there 12/7 to see what prestige hybrids they have incoming. They were order only so we didn't have many choices and put a deposit of $500 on this shadow matte gray one with a vin number of let's say 123. Why I even bother giving a fake vin number is because this played A BIG PART OF OUR EXPERIENCE ON SATURDAY 12/10. That car was supposed to have an ETA of 12/14. It had a RMA of $1500, supply and demand. I got a call the next day 12/8 saying it arrived already I believe the general manager, not Eric, though I did briefly talk to him on the phone that day too and met him on Sat. Manager was rushing me to pick it up within three days even though I said I can pick it up either Sat. or Wed. due to work. Wed. would not work for them so I can only go in on Sat. at 9:30. Morning comes on Sat. and we made it right at 9:30. The car was already outside the dealership and had a matte gray one and gravity gray outside. Luca had two keys and for some reason the matte gray one that we put deposit in for another sales person claimed it was theirs and already sold off. Then we were stuck with gravity gray that Luca had to exchange for the other matte gray version that was $35 more from the sticker price of vin #123. That time we didn't know this was a different vin #, which caused a lot of problems later cause we already had the insurance put in for the original vin #123.Several mishaps with the price that we signed for on Wednesday and the mats that were $150 was only carpets not weather tech. The weather tech my dad wanted was $340, which we were fine with but it turns out when we tried getting it it was already gone. So we went we went through with at the very least 3 different pricing paper that we signed for due to the vin mixed up issue and taxes were calculated 6% the 3rd time and then finally the last one was 7% which is correct. At no point of this process were we ever compensated for anything. Luca is running like crazy across the dealership. He said it's always busy Saturday but I see like all the sales guy in a circle at one point when he disappeared. Finally financials are done and all that. Randy helped us get the car all set up with the app and he tells me the second key fob is gone. I need to go back and get it another day once they custom make it for me.I can get a complimentary car wash with that. Bless his heart, don't get me wrong he's a very smart and nice guy but after this mess all I get is a complimentary car wash? That was a point that I wanted to lose it but we been very patient throughout this process. We know how hard it is dealing with customers daily as a working class. If it was anyone else, they probably would've started yelling and demanding for the manager. The license was not moved to the new car because we had a trade in. Stickers were not removed. We had 5 sales people trying to remove stickers at once. The window with the car info sticker was not cleaned from the Gel and tape as shown in these pictures. Finally key fob was found so glad we don't need to ever go back to that Kia. If you rush me to pick up a car because it's a hot commodity, then make sure it's READY when I go to pay for it. This is so ridiculous. read more

I recently took my Kia Sportage with only 50k miles to get an inspection and new tires put on. I figured a Kia dealership would know how to do that and would do a good job - I was totally wrong. After a bill of $2,000 because they found "a lot of things wrong with it" my car completely shut down. Would not start. I had to get it towed to the dealership for them to find "nothing wrong" with the vehicle but still charge me $100 for "checking it out". THEN I took it for an oil change, because apparently when my vehicle got serviced by Kia, including getting an oil change, they didn't top it off high enough because my oil light came on - the other dealership that I took it to said, and I quote, "don't ever take it to the place you got your oil change last. They completely stripped your bolt and now you're going to need a new oil pan". SO after $2,100 worth of work, my car is in worse condition than when I brought it in. BEWARE. THIS PLACE IS TRASH. read more

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS DEALER!! My son purchased a car about 3-4 months ago and had a transmission issue after a couple weeks. Had to take it back to get fixed. Was informed that his warranty that he purchased extra, wasn't going to cover it which is BS. All of the fluids were not checked or topped off after purchasing. Amazing staff and service. So welcoming and helpful, I wasn't talked down to. As a single woman buying a car or engaging in any business involving cars this is not always the case. I had googled lease terms and the language to make informed decisions and they were clear with me and reasonable. The car I bought wasn't available initially, it was pending sale on arrival, the customer backed out and they called me immediately, the car was beyond my expectations for the price. I didn't spend hours at the dealership either, they even gave me new plates since mine were a bit old and tattered. 10/10 on all fronts! They also texted/called to follow up and even called me since I had left a parking tag in my rental that enterprise was picking up! read more

If I could give a negative star I'd give them -5! Horrible service!! Don't take your car here if you want it fixed correctly!!! Took my car cause had check engine light on made me wait to be seen for 4-6 weeks then when they looked at the car just cleared the code and said come back if the light comes back on. Well it came back on in 1 day. Went back again cause my car was shaking and exhaust was coming in the car when driving along with check engine light. Refused to even Check the code but said we can't see you for another 4-6 weeks even though I said this is something serious. They could care less. Took my car to a better Kia dealer across town. Told them everything that happened at jim shorkey, they said car is undriveable and they should of fixed ut the first time it was brought in for check engine light not just clearing the code. Will never get my car fixed by a jim shorkey dealer nor will ever by a car from them. They blow you off and if you call them and leave a message they never call you back. Service manager was aware of all this and also did not care either. Told us to go elsewhere. This place is a absolute joke! read more
