From the first conversation, he was straightforward, explained everything clearly, and never tried to upsell or pressure me into unnecessary work. What really stood out was his pricing--beyond fair, especially for Harley work. You can tell Tom actually cares about doing right by his customers, not just ringing up a bill. The work was done right, my bike runs great, and I left feeling confident instead of second-guessing what I was charged for (which says a lot these days). My wife had two issues within a two week window for Wilhelm to repair . First, her AC was blowing…read morehot and they added freon, but it didn't fix the problem. The car was returned for additional diagnosis ($300) where then they suggested a new AC system totaling $4100. I opted for a second opinion from another mechanic who identified water in the system, vacuumed it out and added freon for $240 - problem solved. Literally cost more for not fixing the problem than another mechanic that was able to remediate the issue. Next, my wife's car needed multiple push button starts to start the engine. Had it towed to Wilhelm and they diagnosed it was the brake light switch and that it needed to be "tightened", costing $217. After a couple of days, the same problem kept happening. I did my own research, watched a two minute YouTube tutorial, ordered a new brake light switch ($11) and replaced it myself in about 45 seconds. When I asked them what warranted charging us $217 for something that didn't address the problem, I was told it was for diagnostics, and they would be happy to replace the switch for only $100 plus parts. My experience left me feeling that Wilhelm is either highly unethical, incompetent, or both.

The shop was able to find the original plastics and was able to return my bike to the original condition. Customer service was excellent as well as constant communications. I have been bringing my sportbike there for years for tires and basic maintenance. .I have only had excellent service there. Thank you Thomas and staff for everything you did for me. JC is super cool, knowledgeable, honest and does a great job. Hopefully he can run his own business one day and leave SPC. He deserves much better. Anyways, Took my bike in for repair using my third party warranty to cover. Thomas the owner was real nice at first and communicative. Stated he would get the bike done by Monday. Come Wednesday bike wasn't even looked at yet, stated they were busy. Which is why I ask prior to dropping off to avoid having to wait longer than usual. Come Friday the bike was finally done after waiting one week for simple repairs. So beware, the dishonest timeframes they will tell you just to get you in and drop your bike off. Secondly, Thomas is a little disingenuous when it comes payment. I was told one thing over the phone and once the job was completed he stated I owed a different number than what was agreed on (should have got it in writing). When trying to call him out on it, he states he never said that and will hold your bike random until you pay the amount that he asks. Owner states, this is charge for the time due to sending emails and phone calls back and forth with the insurance. Which I told him is part of the business. You don't get paid for emails and phone calls. I end up paying what he ask and told him I'll never use a business who is dishonest to this customers. Another review on SPC stated something similar when it came to payment method less than 30 days ago. Either way, this owner/shop lacks honesty.

In a nut shell, he is happy to take your money, but given you shotty or no work at all. He will also to pressure you to use Zelle "quickpay" though your bank. This allows to to directly transfer money from your account to his. FYI- there is ZERO FRAUD PROTECTION when money is transferred this way. He had my truck for nearly SEVEN months! Each time I went to check on it he was either nowhere to be found, there only to "supervise" or would tell me that he wasn't satisfied with the work HIS body and paint man did. Each time he "promised to make it right". One or even two mistakes I understand, but everything he did or whoever he sublet work to just made a bigger and bigger mess each time the tried to "make it right". Ben takes ZERO responsibility for anything. He only blames others for the mistakes!!!! That says a lot right there!! Ultimately, even though he wasn't the one who did any of the body work or the paint, it was HIS employee or the people HE had to the work on his behalf. IF you are going to business that way, you MUST take responsibility for the outcomes! I finally went and got my truck, after way too long. I took it to a QUALIFIED body shop and painter. Not only was the ENTIRE truck completed in less than ONE WEEK, it looks immaculate! They also CORRECTED EVERYTHING Ben/Jason/unknown made a mess of. I was sent pictures and videos the entire step of the way. Not just to show me the progress, but more to show and document ALL of the MISTAKES made by Ben/Jason/unknown! Both the new painter and new body man just shook there heads at what Ben/Jason/unknown did. They couldn't believe that Ben/Jason/unknown have any repeat customers! I am now in the position of trying to recover the money I paid Mr. Camacho. Chances are slim that I am able to recover even a penny. I am sorry about his health issues, but that can not be used as a blanket excuse for all the mistakes. A REAL and HONEST businessman would have let the customer know the situation, declined the job and offered an apology. Instead he opted to lie, cheat and steal. If nothing else, I hope the $2,600 I paid him went towards his medicals bills. The money, obviously, was NOT spent on my truck!

I brought in my car on Monday 25th and he told me it would be done by friday as thanksgiving was on thursday and I respected that. I did not ask about my car until friday and his reaction was that I kept "annoying" him with constant questions and updates about my car which I think is what a person should do clearly... After that he just became so rude telling me that he is trying to do a good job and that I am rushing him. He took more than a week to fix my car and to my surprise he did the worse job ever. The lighting in his store is dark so if you are not a professional like me than you will probably not notice. He was so rude to my friend who was asking so many questions that he kicked us out of his store. I stopped by a gas station after I picked up my car and was shocked to see how the work looked like. I did not want to return to him because of how he treated us but I would like to warn anyone who is thinking of coming to his shop. He is very rude and immature and brings up irrelevant stuff such as saying that I should not be complaining when my friend drives that expensive car (what does that have to do with anything) The paint is blotchy and patchy almost like a child painted it, it was already peeling off! I have proof that the pictures were taking right after I left his shop and he is claiming that it was perfect when I left his store, but question is, why would I ruin my own car that I've been waiting for for a long time? I trusted this guy because he told me he has been doing this for a while, but this place is clearly unprofessional and sketchy. He said his painter had pictures of my car right after it was done but when we asked to speak to the painter he said he fired him... I do not know how that makes sense. I asked for at least half the money back and he will not return it even though I probably could do a better job and I cannot believe I paid 650 for this when I could've paid more somewhere else and probably gotten a clean and proper job. I will not post the whole message but unless he gives me my money back I am keeping this here. Not only is he not professional but also to his employees!
