This campground was very clean, the sites are large, have concrete pads for your rv and vehicles, every table was covered! The campground has a coded gate to get in, also there is a boat ramp! I would recommend this campground if your in the area!!

Jim Hogg Park is located on Lake Georgetown and offers everything I love about the outdoors - hiking, picnicking, fishing, boating and opps for nature picture taking. The amenities include toilets, showers, fishing dock and boat ramp. They have around 150 camping sites and hookups and dumps but I have no experience with camping here. I do recommend Jim Hogg Park for a glimpse of "Outdoor Heaven" while hiking somewhere close to water so the pups and humans can take a dip and keep cool while exploring the outdoors in the triple digits - that is Texas summer Hell.

Always love camping here. Its a tradition every year to camp here. Wish there were catfish in the lake though

The campgrounds during the 4th of July weekend were crowded as hell. The restrooms were nasty and didn't flush. There are always park rangers driving making sure you are not parked on the grass. lol

From inside of the enclosure that had bunk beds.

This is our 3rd time reserving spot number 075. We love this park and love this spot because it is close to the restrooms, has a small enclosure, has plenty of room for three large tents and also has electric and water.

Been out here many times and have had a great time each visit. Park is clean and at a good cost. Come out into nature!

Why are there Street lights shining I to the camp sites? I might as well have camped out on 6th Street in Austin. Waste of time and money.

My husband and I needed a day out from quarantine so we took our kayaks out to Jim Hogg Park on Lake Georgetown.
