I dropped off 2 camper rims today for new tires I already ordered. I drop them off and owner tells…read moreme they will be done in an hour to hour and a half. I didn't even need them today, but I'll take a quick turnaround. I come back before closing and call on my way (no answer, which is common from my experience) to see if they are staying open as they close at 5pm and it's about 20 minutes til closing. I get there quick with about 10 minutes to spare and the wheels are in the same spot I left them outside. I walk up to them and they didn't do them. Not a huge deal but the owner or manager whatever he is, is outside on the phone. He sees me standing there and waves me off as in "beat it" and barks out "I'll get to them when I get to them, we're busy we'll do em when we do em". I'm confused so I approach him and calmly say "ok I just came back because I knew you were closing and you said an hour to an hour and half." I have zero attitude, I'm not mad, irritated, or annoyed. I'm just trying to have a quick conversation before I head out because that was weird and aggressive. He waves me off again and repeats "I'll get to them when I get to them I'm busy they're not done yet I'll do em when I got time" and he keeps waving me off as if to say "get the hell outta here". His tone was aggressive, this wasn't normal behavior nor was it necessary whatsoever. I said alright I'll just take them now then, because I'm not a real fan of getting yelled at by the disgruntled tire man when I'm being nothing but polite and would have been completely understanding to him not being able to do them if he didn't start barking at me for no reason. His reply was "whatever, good!" and the last thing I said was "this one's on you." Because you sir are the only reason that whole thing went south, not me. I'm the most reasonable person I don't think I've ever left a negative review of a business in my entire life but I was is disbelief at the attitude from this guy the moment he saw me standing there. I'm not one of your kids or employees you just bark at because you're in a bad mood so you decide to take it out on me. It's safe to say I'll never return to this place again and I've literally been going here for as long as I can remember. What a weird unwarranted interaction from this man and whatever is going on in your life to cause you to speak to people so dismissive and aggressively for no reason at all, well I hope it gets better. And while I'm at it, I never complained about the last wheel I brought that your guys damaged so badly I had to bring it elsewhere to get dismounted, repair the rim, and mounted again. But now I'll add that one here as well. Very unprofessionally run business is all I can say.

Took my 2020 Ford F150 to Scruggs Automotive in Elma for a Bilstein front and rear suspension kit,…read moreordered aftermarket Fuel wheels and had them mount/balance/install new Mickey Thompson tires. Their quote was reasonable and competitive with other shops in WNY, however their 3 year/36k mile warranty was far superior, and the 3% back on your entire purchase (parts AND labor) was unmatched as well. My truck was dropped off after hours and completed the following business day. Nick was easy to work with and kept me informed throughout the entire process from ordering parts to the completion of the installation. My truck looks better than I could've imagined and I will definitely be recommending Scruggs to any friends and family looking for a reputable and reasonable shop.

I brought my 2022 to Neighborhood Car Care - Elma after noticing a bulge in one of my tires. Since…read morethe vehicle was already there, I also authorized an oil change and left my vehicle overnight to await the inspection. After inspecting my vehicle, I was presented with an estimate of approximately $4,500 in repairs, not including the cost of replacing all four tires. The estimate didn't seem right to me, so I declined the repairs and went up to pick up my car. I watched the technicians pull my vehicle out of the garage following the oil change, paid my bill, and drove about 30 miles directly to my regular mechanic for a second opinion. I'm incredibly glad I did. After a thorough inspection, my mechanic determined that the extensive repairs recommended by Neighborhood Car Care - Elma were not needed. The only repair my vehicle actually needed was a new set of tires because of the damaged sidewall. Even more concerning, he found blowback oil from an improperly installed oil filter upon lifting the car to do an inspection when I arrived. He explained that the oil filter and O-ring had not been installed correctly during the oil change that had just been completed. He corrected the issue, and I was fortunate he caught it when he did. Left uncorrected, it could have resulted in a catastrophic engine failure. I called Neighborhood Car Care - Elma immediately and explained what my mechanic had found. They apologized and stated they would refund the cost of the oil change. Between the approximately $4,500 repair estimate (before tires) for repairs that my mechanic determined were unnecessary and an improperly installed oil filter on a routine oil change, I have no confidence in the quality of the work performed. A routine oil change should be just that--routine. Based on my experience, I believe it's better to steer clear.

The first time I came to this dealership I came specifically because of positive reviews of salesmen Glenn Colton. I was not disappointed, I can assure you Glenn will surpass your expectations. That day I was shopping for my girlfriend. We were able to leave the same day with a Jeep Cherokee. (same day delivery on the Wrangler as well) . I came back to buy my personal vehicle because of how flawless the first experience was. Sales Manager Alyssa Witkowski is also very passionate about her position and was able to work with me through the financial portion of the deal and was a pleasure to sit with. Overall The experience at Transitowne West Seneca will be better than other dealerships in our area. I know from experience as I have purchased 5 cars in the last decade and my two most pleasant purchases have been through this dealership. Some extra advice: 1. Do not use just one website for reviews certain sites people only post to when an odd ball situation occurs and they need some where to vent (we all do it). 2. Come prepared- No matter what dealership you go to prepare the best you can to know what others have paid and/or what rebates you qualify for. Know your credit score and debt to income ratio. Be weary of dealership pre-configured finance calculators they will often fill in a down payment to make the payment appear cheaper. Use your own finance calculator that will calculate tax and interest rate.

Very disappointed with the service department at Transitowne Jeep in Elma…read more Scott Addeo called and told me the repairs were not covered by my extended warranty and requested approval for approximately $900 in work. I authorized it, and the work began. I then called back and asked whether Jeep would cover the repair because my vehicle only has 28,000 miles. After checking, he confirmed it was covered. Why wasn't Jeep coverage checked before asking me to approve $900 out of pocket? When I questioned this, Scott said it would have been caught in the system at the end. That explanation did not restore my confidence in how this was handled. Later that day, I called for an update. Scott said he would check with the garage and call me right back. I explained that my wife had used their shuttle and we needed to know the status as soon as possible. He never called. An hour later, I drove there myself, and he admitted he forgot to call me back. I also left two voicemails for Robert Murdoch requesting a return call about my concerns. Neither was returned. Customers should be able to trust that applicable coverage is checked before being asked to approve a repair bill, and that promised callbacks actually happen. This experience left me with very little confidence in this service department.

Not only did I make the right choice, Joe, who I've dealt with every time, saved me over 150 bucks by making some suggestions that were a no-brainer. Did he earn my business for the next time? He worked with us to get a used tire on the rim, balanced, and ready to go. He got the tire out of the car, and when it was done, he put a bag over it and placed it back in the car. Especially noteworthy was the initiative that he exercised in giving us the tire for free, only asking that we come back and purchase tires from them in the future. I appreciated the kindness and I will be back to purchase tires in the near future. As I said, wonderful initiative to build customer relationships without depending on manufacturer discounts. Great people and great service!
