I start calling to get an appointment.first the dealership I bought my car. Three weeks. Second , i won't mention but the guy in on the phone, and I quote, " you're a funny guy"!! Really? That's how you treat your customers? Guess who the funny guy is? And I'll never recommend your place, ever!! The third wielands on transit near Clinton. The voice on the phone was extremely pleasant and said the best she could do was Monday at 12:30 I said ok. She said if you can come in early sometimes we can get you right away. Monday came. I did as she said. Was welcomed by a very pleasant man. Told where to pull my car. I got out and soon , like 5 mins my car was getting inspected. The mechanics were pleasant and didn't try to upsale anything and just did the inspect . It passed and I was out before my 12:30 time. I paid and I would be recommending their business. So if you want to be treated like a moron, go anyplace but Wielands. Because here you're gonna be treated with respect and know that you vehicle is going to be treated with utmost care. Thank you Wielands for helping me in a tight spot when others just laughed at me!!

They have even fixed minor problems, and refused any sort of payment multiple times. My car battery tested unusually low during my inspection, I was asked to come back to double check as it was extremely cold that day. I stopped by a couple weeks later. They are too booked to do, it. Isabella tells me to bring it back Thursday morning. Bring the car back Thursday morning. Patrick clearly annoyed with the fact I was in the shop. Not sure if I wasn't put on the schedule appropriately, or just having a personal bad day. Car battery gets checked. Patrick has battery tested "it's at 56% you're good to go." I inquire if that is normal for a battery I believed to only be a year old? "Yeah new batteries can test as low as 80% in this weather, so 56-80% is acceptable." This was said in front of a full waiting room. I inquire with friends more mechanically inclined than me. I am informed yes l, weather will affect the test but, that's testing at a 2 year old charge. Patrick couldn't be bothered to look up as to when the battery was replaced for me to confirm the date. Didn't discuss how the warranty would be determined. A 24% margin of error seems pretty high for a determining factor on a warranty. Didn't tell me what determines an under performing battery, and what would qualify for replacement. Nor tell me when the warranty expires, to potentially bring it back in warmer weather to test again, before the warranty is null. Very disappointed, this is not reflective of brand and service I have become accustomed to, glad they have a second location. I will be avoiding the Transit location.

I first went to them when one of the car dealerships said that the computer on my car needed to be replaced.. NOw any other place you would go would say oh yea you need that.. 2 hours after I dropped my car off I received a call from Scruggs telling my car was ready.. Said that I only needed an inspection and a new battery... nothing wrong w/ the car.. then i took my newer car to Scruggs on transit for an oil change.. i get a call back that i needed a lot of work done.. head gasket etc.. something you would think that the dealership would've taken care of...once i received the cost i was ready to cry.. they offered me a 3rd party lender.. YAYYYY!! that was awesome.. the people there are the greatest..Henry, Patrick, Carmine (he did the work on my car), Isabella.. I was treated like one of the family.. i will be going there anytime i need to have something done on the car.. you should go too.... THEY ARE THE BEST!! SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE REST!!

You can certainly call their phone but I opted to use their electronic communication options. Online scheduling was easy via their website. Received a follow up text to confirm the appointment and received drop off instructions. There is certainly a person answering the texts, which was nice. Diagnosing the problem didn't take very long; maybe a couple of hours after I dropped it off. I was sent a link to view the findings from the technician, complete with important photos, and recommendations. I received a second link that was used to verify which repairs I would like performed, and their costs. At that point, I either agree or disagree to the individual parts and labors that were recommended. I Signed the electronic agreement and moved on with my day. I Received another text when the van was complete. This was my first time visiting AmTon and I believe them to be running an honest and trustworthy business. I hope to not have to return under the same circumstances, but if I need to, they will be my first call.

Matt was supposed to be working on my deceased father's corvette, he had it for over a week and I had not heard anything from him. I called Matt asking for an update and Matt told me that he hadn't gotten to the car yet but he did manage to DAMAGE IT. He never once called to let me know he damaged it, he was just waiting for me to call him I guess. He never sent me a photo of the damage or disclosed what actually happened. I had to call this man SEVERAL TIMES on several occasions and had to finally threaten him with an attorney before he fixed the damages and returned the car to me. He had the car for about a month. Never fixed the original issues that I took it in for. Do not take any vehicle here. This place is the worst.
