The price struck me as high so I called Toyota and found out it was a $775.00 dollar part. I called the corporate customer service line and they said the 1125 dollar markup up seemed high so I should call the repair shop. They indicated they charged whatever their computer said to. Bottom line: beware, their service maybe great but they take advantage of their customers through outrageous part markup.

So I went here the next day I had an appointment. Appointments don't mean shit because he told me he was about an hour behind and blamed it on another customer coming in late. But after doing more research, I realize that this is not an uncommon occurrence. My inspection passed thankfully because I played, I'm just a dumb girl and I don't know what you're gonna charge me but I think he got the hint that I'm not stupid. Prior to getting my car he had called me and let me know that he was recommending tires and he gave me a price and I stupidly said I'll take them to my guy in Cheektowaga, to which the mechanic here seemed offended.. Because I have a fabulous mechanic that charges very reasonable prices. I go to pick up my car and drive it out and I get in and something just feels it. I can't tell if it's a smell of grease or what. So the next morning I wake up and it smells like wet mold in the car. And it's just been progressively getting worse, and I found that on the passenger seat there was a moldy stench coming from between the seat..I'm pretty sure these mechanics messed with my car. I've read that they've shuffled through peoples glove boxes and did other things so this doesn't surprise me, but I want them held accountable. I will never recommend it here. Carstar can vouch that my car was immaculate. They left it in pristine condition. I didn't have anything in my car that would cause this. This place is corrupt and disgusting.

I was explained everything in detail and had pictures on my invoice so I could see what's going on with my vehicle. They updated me along the way when they had my vehicle and even offered me a loaner car so I could take care of my kids, get back and forth to work.
