These folks are fantastic, especially Preston. In less than 5 minutes after driving up Preston walked over and asked how he could help. He went through my options for the oil change, explaining the differences and costs. He also went over the additional services that were included, vacuuming, window cleaning, topping fluids, etc. You do have the option to wait in your car but their waiting room is pretty comfortable. As we walked through the bay area Preston pointed out the location of the restrooms and what the waiting room offered, e.g. TV, wi-fi, coffee, drinks, etc. The prices are comparable to other locations but the service here is outstanding! I also didn't feel any pressure to receive additional or unnecessary services.

An Oil change option in the Woodbridge Area. I may be biased concerning my oil change expectations. Where I live and get oil changes at places like this, I have certain expectations. I can stay in my car. It is about 10-15 minutes. I can drive my car in and out by myself. When the car is completed there are no parts left out. And the staff are consistent in what they tell me about the procedure. Unfortunately, after the experience at this particular location, I believe that I am going to have to reassess my expectations for the Woodbridge area as my experience did not meet these expectations. I drove up to the outside of the location. There were cars in both bays and so I waited in my car to pull into the bay. I asked and was told that I could stay in my car during the change. When the bay cleared, I was asked to get out of the car and go to the waiting area, and that they had to drive the car in and out. No one gave me options on oil changes or service. They just drove the car into the bay. After they opened the hood, a nice gentleman called me out to the bay and asked what I wanted done. I told him a basic oil change and tire rotation, and we discussed the options. He was very professional. They accomplished the work in about 25 minutes and pulled the car out of the bay while the lady in the waiting area checked me out. When we went to get in the car there was a piece of the car in the passenger seat. When we told the staff they came over and installed it under the passenger legroom compartment and apologized for the mistake. The service cost about $100. Those were all the places that they could improve. Now here are some good things. They did an oil change and tire rotation in record time. They were very friendly. They vacuumed the car very well and cleaned all the windows. Overall, I am torn about whether I would return or recommend this location to others.

Decided to stop in for my due oil change before my night shift at work. I ended up going a few hours before I needed to go to work since I wasn't sure how long the wait would be. Once I pulled up: they asked what services I needed and brought me into the waiting room. Then quickly after they brought me outside asked what I needed and said in 20 minutes they will get it done. Wow! I was highly surprised. Going to the dealership takes hours! Once ready the desk associate rung me out and I was good to go. Be sure to check online if they have any coupons you can apply. They didn't try and sell me on extra things I didn't need. Lots of awesome women working! For once I didn't have to worry being a women getting work done on my car ( usually they try and oversell you on stuff you don't need!) will be back in the future for sure.

Extremely Disappointed and Concerned About Today's Service…read more I'm very upset with the service I received today at Valvoline. What should have been a routine oil change turned into a frustrating and concerning experience. A technician jammed an evac tube into my oil well in an attempt to drain the old oil -- a method I've never seen used before and clearly not the right one( Jamming the tube into my engine). I sat for 20 minutes before anyone even explained what was happening. The only reason I was told anything was because I walked over and asked why they were yanking under my hood. I ended up waiting for 2.5hours while they kept trying to remove the tube and pieces from my engine -- without giving me any proactive updates or clear explanation at all. Now, my car is disabled, and I'm stuck with no vehicle. It has to be towed to a mechanic because of their mistake. As a customer, it's incredibly disappointing not to be able to trust professionals with my vehicle. I expected basic communication, accountability, and care. Instead, I was left in the dark and now dealing with the consequences of careless service. This experience has completely shattered my trust in Valvoline.

It was my first time at a Jiffy Lube period and was unaware of your service their service methods. After the service was performed, the manager refused to issue a hard copy receipt citing some green policy (seems more like a way to minimize overhead costs) which was not mentioned from the onset. The store manager insisted with providing only an electronic copy resulting in a needless back and forth that I must say was not up to an acceptable level of customer service. The manager apparently is under some misguided notion that he is not required to provide a hard copy invoice if requested. I tried to file a complaint with their corporate office but their intake system fails to upload the complaint for some odd reason. A little research for Jiffy Lube's benefit, please refer to the following state statute requiring the production of an invoice upon completion of work. Virginia Code § 59.1-207.5, part of the Automobile Repair Facilities Act, requires automobile repair facilities to provide customers with a detailed written invoice upon completion of repair work. This invoice must separately list the charges for parts and labor, identify which parts were supplied under warranty and which were not, and note any used, rebuilt, or reconditioned parts. The provision does not apply to work performed on a pre-advertised single price basis. Had I known it would've become an issue, I would not have provided an email address as my preference would have been a hard copy for my records. Needless to say, I would not consider Jiffy Lube for any future maintenance needs.

Through the 2 different reasons I've had to go there, they eventually got the issues fixed. It took two trips but because they misdiagnosed an issue the first time, they didn't charge me for labor the 2nd time so I appreciate that. The not-so-good experience.. they didn't call to say to what extent the diagnosis was neither did they call to breakdown the cost for everything. So by the time I got my car back, everything was already done so I'm inclined to pay at that point. Not to mention, the cost of parts was over the average pricing that you can get online so if you're familiar with car parts, I recommend ordering it elsewhere and asking if they're able to use that instead of theirs. Overall, I'd come back here for maintenance and inspections. I think they are trustworthy but could improve method of communication to the customers.
