I live in Evanston but drive out to Wilmette just to go to this particular Jiffy Lube. They always has the best mechanics -- they're smart, friendly, polite, and are good at what they do. Been going there for years and always leave satisfied and happy with my car again. But I decided to write a review this time because they went above expectations at this last visit. There's a relatively new woman mechanic there now who I chatted with about repairs I need to make moving forward (but can't right now)... and she already knew every single one. Impressive. Because of financial constraints, I could only do one thing at this visit, but she gave me a game plan for my budget and a priority list. THIS is the kind of service I expect from a dealership (but don't get). I was also impressed with her extensive knowledge about my particular car, casually sharing details you'd expect from a senior mechanic. But that's not all. Then I met the visiting regional manager -- another woman with impressive knowledge about cars. She expressed her excellent customer service and knowledge of the industry as well. So while this may all sound like "so, ok, she had a good experience talking to some cool women, big deal," the fact of the matter is: I drove away with my car better than when I drove in, got it done affordably, left with a game plan for repairs moving forward, had a pleasant experience, and my car no longer makes an annoying squeak that I've been listening to for months! Couldn't be happier! Thank you, Jiffy Lube of Wilmette. I'll be back. read more

Jose my guy, This is the best jiffy lube in Illinois. quick and easy cheapest packages. only shop i go to!

Went for a quick oil change. Jose and the guys took care of me quick. Very professional and easy going. Will be definitely going back

The friendly team at this Jiffy Lube changed the oil, installed a new air filter, properly inflated the tires, topped off all fluids, and reminded me to use their $16 coupon...all in about 12 minutes! A very jiffy jiffy for a very reasonable price! read more

The staff here are extremely personable, friendly and professional. They toped off my coolant and washed off some battery acid off my battery free of charge. I got my car service as soon as I pulled up, they are hard workers and move very quick. It's probably the nicest and cleanest waiting lobbies I've sat in at a Jiffy Lube. It isn't a franchise location so it's a few bucks more for the usual oil change I get but well worth it after this experience. I absolutely recommend this business read more

I just got in my car and the low oil light came on and it was 5:30pm I was in Evanston! I called as I knew they closed at 6 pm and they said they would wait for me. I arrived at 5:58pm the took a look and were very professional! They top the fluids off and we were on our way. Thank you Eric & Jose you both put my mind at ease and thanks for waiting for us! read more

Jiffy Lube - goos team - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Wilmette, Illinois

great spot. great people. fast, honest and affordable. always go here when you need anything under the hood dealt with.

I cannot say that I recommend this one based on my experience, but perhaps they have learned from their mistakes. This location serviced my vehicle for a routine oil change. When I left with my vehicle after the service, I just had made it out of the lot when my vehicle began smoking and reeking of oil. Having a solid understanding of what could have happened , I was able to get home and open the hood to check it out. Sure enough, there was oil spilled all over the place under there. I drove back the shop, which was awful given the smell of burning motor oil that was beginning to make my eyes water. Upon my return, I explained to the employee what was happening, to which he explained that the person changing the oil made the mistake of pouring the oil too quickly and causing it to spill over from the funnel. To my dismay, the employee finally admitted to having seen this and neglected to advise the person filling the oil to clean up any spillage. This was after a 10 minute conversation with him looking for scape goats as to what happened. When I asked why he didn't answer me honestly the first time, he couldn't say much more than direct me to call the manager. The lack of accountability was disheartening and extremely disappointing. I requested they clean up their mess and they did. First letting the car cool to wipe down all they could, they followed up with revving the car to burn off the oil. They did this revving for approximately 40 minutes as I sat there in addition to the timely process of the initial oil change. After they said my car was ready, I prepared to drive home by entering my vehicle that still smelled heavily of oil fumes. Driving home, the car still smoked from the spill and unfortunately they wasted a significant amount of fuel by revving my engine for over 30 minutes. Upon reaching out to the stores manager and explaining what happened, he offered me a discount on my next service. I assured him that I would not be back so this was obsolete. He promised to reach me later on that day, which he did, to discuss alternative options. I returned to the store later to get my money transferred back to my card that I paid with. Although I was refunded, the back and forth of having to catch another persons mistake that should have been attended to well before I left was unfortunate. My experience was unsatisfactory and something that I will be mindful of in the future. I encourage this staff to learn from my experience and take accountability for their mistakes. Humility is an honest and beautiful privilege we have to extend to one another. Hoping you can do better for future customers, but I won't be one of them. read more

The service here was spectacular. The workers were helpful and friendly. They asked me about additional services without being pushy. it was a wonderful experience and I will be back in 3000 miles. read more

Very fast and quick service. Friendly staff. But maaannn is it expensive! I guess you pay for the speed but seems steep for over 100 bucks for an oil change? I get it but trying to figure what's the right balance of speed and price. read more

Fast and convenient. Good service and price. Easy drop off and the Staff was friendly and did a very good job.

Great service and very friendly crew at this location! Gave me a coupon to make my visit cheaper as well. Highly recommend.

Wonderful spot, they are knowledgeable, kind and very quick! We have been coming here for a couple years now and they never disappoint!

Go anywhere else to get your oil changed. They tried upcharging for synthetic oil stating that they were out of 5W-30 oil without ever informing me while they preformed the oil change . In addition they charged me for an oil filter and topping off the engine coolant. Horrible business practices! ****Stay Away from this business******** read more

Oil change, they could not reset the computer. No problem but instead of telling me, they just switched off the screen so next time I switch on my engine I get the maintenance reminder again. read more

I'd give the folks working at Jiffy Lube on Greenbay Road in Wilmette 10 stars if I could! Went in for a battery change and when the one they had in stock was too tight of a fit for my older model car, they politely explained what was going on and told me they would have to put my old battery back in...OR... they offered to call around and to see if they could find a better size. They did that. Found one. And then one of them drove over to another location to pick it up and bring it back! Great team. Smart. Polite. On top of it. Great integrity. Highly recommend this Jiffy Lube! read more

Nick and his team were professional and accommodating. Excellent service and work. Checked and filled all fluid levels. Terrific service.

Getting an oil change is not my favorite thing to do but the staff at the Wilmette location were fantastic. No trying to get me to do upgrades or selling me things I didn't need. Brought a conversion van in for an oil change before a road trip East. Boneheads drained the transmission fluid not the motor oil. We were stranded in Pennsylvania with a damaged transmission. This Jiffy Lube has greatly declined in the last few years. I pulled into have the oil changed and the wiper blades replaced. Currently, the techs have been fiddling with my vehicle for over 50 minutes. First, they couldn't find the cabin filter and want to rifle through the glove box. They tried to sell me wiper blades that are too small for my standard size SUV and when I asked for a refund on the wiper blades the tech told me that they had to call a manger. Magically 15 minutes later, still no refund. I cannot recommend this jiffy lube, which is unfortunate since I've come here for over 15 years. read more
