My Mom and I noticed a low tire and we were passing this location and stopped to ask them for help getting air. Turns out the tire was not low and we were mistaken; however, they checked every tire and couldn't be nicer and more generous with their time and effort. In the past couple years this was an iffy location. Not good service, and I think at one point it wasn't open. Employees were coming and going. HOWEVER.... I gave it a go today. Very nice men (3) doing good work. Very focused on customer service. Clearly trained well, and each one repeated specific duties again and again as each vehicle came in (observed other oil changes). Requested oil change change light on back license plate tire rotation transmission fluid change was approached about spark plugs &cables but not told how much which ended up being $800plus so told to remove and manger comes saying giving a deal and "knocked off price " car never elevated don't think they did tire rotation and when I checked light before leaving it was not fixed had to wait for them to do despite their saying everything was done Lots of deceptive business practices buyer beware! read more

When I went in for signature oil change ($100+) I specifically asked if they could check air pressure on tires since I was 5 PSI low. The front desk guy promised they would but they didn't bother to check it. They were solely focused on speed, not quality. I checked the PSI with my own gauge after the oil change and it was still low. They never checked it. I returned and then they over-filled the tires +5 PSI. My car is supposed to have 33 PSI and they put it at 37 PSI. Overall just poor quality and poor communication. read more

The service at this location is always consistent. They are my go-to spot in my area. I procrastinated my oil change per usual and got there 15 minutes before closing time. I was still treated great. I went in to get a simple oil change. The people there were so off putting and rude. They filled up my winder washer with diluted solution, im in Chicago .... When is that going to unfreeze? In March? They also overfilled all of my tires, my tire pressure was fine and now I'm scared my tires are going to explode on the freeway. Hats off to Caesar who is handling all the cars by himself today. He's got both bays full and he has not stopped to take a break since I arrived. He has been fast and communicative and I am amazed one person can handle all us all so well. I've always brought my cars here and they've always been great. I just wanted to call out the excellent service and quality that I've taken for granted til now. These guys are great for alerting you to other car maintenance issues that are coming up... they warned me about my battery months ago, and now that it's really corroded I'm glad he has time to fit in a change on a day like today. He even cleaned the windshield! An oil change and battery change and 2 other cars handled in the opposite bay and I was in and out in 30 minutes. read more

Avoid - they overfilled my oil by 1.5 quarts, and when my sensor came on, I went back where they inspected the car and told me I needed a new sensor. When a different garage inspected the car, they found that the oil was too high, drained the excess, and the sensor light went out. I went back to this JL asking for a refund, showing them what the other garage had written on their invoice - they said the other place was lying! I had to call Jiffy Lube corporate to get them to issue my refund. Avoid. read more

They broke my car hood while giving a simple oil change. Let me leave with it broken and not fully latched. I drove home and realized it was not closed and took it back. They attempted to fix it and told me the reason it broke was my fault and would not take the blame when I opened my hood and closed the hood with no problem the day before to check the oil. Great staff and quick service. I used to go to the dealer for oil changes but I had a hard time getting an appointment this time so I looked around and found this jiffy lube. I used to go to one by my old house on the south side of the city with my old car, so I thought I would give them a shot. I couldn't be happier to find this place and the amazing staff. Emmanuel and Bernard we super polite and knowledgeable. They we very friendly as well even though only one was working on my vehicle they both made me feel like I was important to their business. There was no wait when I pulled up so I was in and out in no time. You just pull up sit in ur own car no need to get out and they get to work. They are also a fraction of what the dealer charges me. We sat in the parking area, next in line, for 15 minutes before someone came out to ask what service we needed. We just needed an oil top-off. We were then told that there would be a 40 minute wait! It would've been nice to have known that when we drove up. At every other Jiffy Lube I've ever visited, an attendant approached the car upon arrival. Not here. This location was $20 more for the signature synthetic oil change than the location where I usually go in Evanston, In addition, there is a maintenance light that remains on for which the techs had no answer. This has never happened to me before. I typically love the service and experience at the Evanston location but this feels like a rip off. Recommendation: keep driving to the Evanston location. read more

I would probably rate it closer to 3.5 stars because as much as I like this place because they are usually quick, there isn't much that will blow you away. But they are pretty consistent. Of course based on time you go, it could change the time it takes to get things done. Overall service is good. There are usually only 2-3 mechanics there at a time so it all depends as far as timing. Usually I only go in for simple things like oil changes and tire rotations but 30 mins is the average time. I usually do go at different times it it seems to work out. Granted I stay away on weekends but they are more staffed that day. Staff is pretty cool and down to earth. If you ask them on deals, they are pretty good and give you some honest feedback. read more

DON'T GET YOUR OIL CHANGED HERE. I own a 2012 Audi A4 in incredible condition. Maintenance, checks, everything spot on. My car looks and rides like it has 40K miles on it. Babied. I took my car here for an oil change about 2 months ago. Last week I noticed it was leaking oil and the engine had a burning oil smell to it. I took it in to have my Audi technician check it out. He told me whoever changed my oil last (Jiffy Lube on Golf Rd. is the ONLY people who have touched my oil cap) knocked a metal piece into the engine (from sticking the metal nozzle that they use to fill up the oil in too hard) and it damaged the engine and will cost $3500 to fix. He sent me pictures of the piece that he found and was surprised the engine wasn't damaged more. I would send Jiffy Lube a bill but I've dealt with them before and they would never accept blame for any of this. read more

Unfortunately something happened with my hood release while I was here, and they put in extra time to make sure it was fixed before I left. I appreciate that they didn't say it was my problem, but took time to help out. I left feeling great about my experience, and will see them in 3,000 miles. First let me say that I never usually do reviews I don't take the time. However my experience this morning at that Jiffy Lube on golf road was seriously stellar! With COVID-19, the new service is drive-through. The guys were incredibly friendly And walked me through step-by-step, explaining what needed to be done. I know that Jiffy Lube is known for a quick turnaround but these guys went above and beyond to make sure that I felt comfortable driving my car through, OK with the service they were giving, and sent me off on my way with a smile and a wave. I always get my oil changed here, but to be honest it's because it is convenient. Today, however, I had a flat tire--like all the way flat and driving basically on the rim. I immediately pulled into this location. They came out and saw how crazy flat my tire was and told me to just leave my car in front and they came out and put my spare tire on for me.
