I have been using this Jiffy Lube. For approximately 8 years, it has been wonderful. People very polite and did an excellent job. There is a new management, very tall man. So rude. I will never go back there again. I am 57 years old. He was also ruled to my 78-year-old mom. The tall manager talks down to people literally. The worst experience at a mechanical auto body shop in MA. Tried to come in a few times through out the week & was told they had no mechanic on site. When I was finally able to get a mechanic, I wanted to get brakes checked because it was making a weird sound. The gave me an estimate for $1260! They were charging over $150 for labor per hour & said it would be a 4 hour job. No mechanic should take 4 hours to change brakes, even if you have to replace rotors & calipers. When I protested the bill, the people got defensive & acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. While sitting around the shop, I noticed half of the workers standing around talking while they had every car bay filled up & people waiting in line. Zero stars! Boooo, throwing tomatoes! The worst ever!Swindled me into spending $60 on windshield wipers! I was told the wipers were $30 only to find out they're $30 per wiper! Excuse me?! For all that I'll wipe my windshield off myself! Why in the world not specify that prior? At that point they already took my old ones off and tossed them. I feel like I was tricked into it. No way wipers and an oil change should cost $150 AFTER a $25 off coupon has been applied. And of course they randomly throw in that I should consider replacing my spark plugs and give me a $500. I did not go for spark plugs, and I said I don't want anything but an oil change. Leave me alone!!!! The way I threw that bs diagnostic away. Do not go here unless you want to be harassed about getting additional repairs you don't want or need! Beware of going here unless you are very familiar with car repair and know exactly what your car needs and doesn't need. I specifically told them when I got there that all I wanted done was an oil change. I understand trying to up-sell but the amount of things they tried to sell me was ridiculous and it eventually felt like harassment. - Spark Plugs - They told me I should get my spark plugs changed and they could do it while I was there. I told them I have 70,000 more miles to go until I need them. If a customer was unaware of what is needed and when it is needed, they would be making a purchase they didn't need. - Valve cover gasket - They told me my oil was a little low. I told them I was aware of that and I had been wondering if I need a valve cover gasket. They gave me a written quote for over $300 and wanted to do the repair that day. I brought the car to my mechanic who said I definitely do not need a valve cover gasket. - Transmission fluid - They tried to get me to agree have them change the transmission fluid. It was not time for that. If you are a customer not aware of your maintenance schedule or what needs to be done, you could have paid for something you didn't need. - Tire rotation - Again I only came for an oil change. and it wasn't time for a rotation. - Buff foggy plastic over headlights - This was the only legitimate work they offered, but I only came in for an oil change and was sick of the selling at this point. Protect your wallet from unnecessary expenses and avoid being harassed by staying away from this place. read more

Really can't complain. This is the first oil change place I've been to where they don't push things on you and try and sell you a bunch of extras. The three or more times we've been here the service is prompt, friendly, and reasonably priced. The coupon for the free car wash is a nice touch as well. The inside is clean, small, but clean. Bathrooms available and coffee. There are also a million coupons available for this place and it makes it even more affordable. Spend five seconds before going in to get one of the many coupons available before checking it out. Definitely go out of my way to come here for oil changes. read more

Terrible service they literally do not listen to what you want done to your car. I asked them to wipe the oil off the chassis because it makes a mess when the filter comes off. Nope! Went in for a an oil change and tire rotation and left with with a high bill for repairs I did not ask for. Explicitly said I didn't want the oil system cleaning and they did it anyways and tacked it in the bill. They also replaced spark plugs saying it was causing problem with car ignition. The next day, my car had trouble starting and the engine shakes/misfires at times. Poor communication by staff and takes advantage of customers who are not as knowledgeable. read more

I was over-charged for two filter replacements, and wrote a google review stating this. The staff also did not vacuum my car as part of the service included in the oil change. I got a response from Jiffy Lube asking me to "reach out" to their customer service rep, so I did. She was nasty, stating that the price of the filters reflects the current market (it does not) and that the shop had already "stacked coupons" to give me a large discount. Her attitude was that they already gave me a discount, so I should not be complaining. Too bad, a "large discount" off of a gross over-charge signifies nothing in terms of customer care. The total charges were STILL too much based on the price of the parts used and the time spent by the mechanics. In the meantime, this representative seemed to expect me to return to the shop and get them to complete the checklist. When did I become an employee of Jiffy Lube, responsible for getting the mechanics to do their job???? Never, that is when. Very poor overall, will not return. read more

What makes this place better than the rest? 1) free car wash with oil change. FREE CAR WASH. At a NICE place. 2) No wait for pulling your car into the bay. 3) Across the street from White Hut, which means you can grab a bite to eat while you wait. 4) Quick turnaround, I would guess less than 35 minutes. 5) Helpful employees who answer questions but don't "PUSH" upgraded products or services. The reason they don't get five stars is that it seems to be pretty expensive, I think it was $40 with all the taxes and whatnot, for your standard lube change. I made the mistake of going here twice! The first time I went and asked for only an oil change with synthetic blend and emphasized not to do a tire rotation as I was getting new tires that week. I dropped the car off and left my number to call when it was done. The entire day I was waiting for a call and never received one. I went back before close and found out my car was done a while ago. When I went to check what was done, I found they used conventional oil instead of what I asked for synthetic and these idiots did a tire rotation which I specifically asked not to do! I asked their techs what they were thinking... putting the worse tread tires in the front on a front wheel drive car?! On too of that, they charged me $25 for the rotation and I had to argue with them to take off the charge. It cost me an additional $25 to have them reverted on my dime! A few months later I was back in the area and decided to give these guys another chance. I came back and was greeted by a tech named axel who took my car in and went over what I needed done. I asked for wiper replacements and synthetic blend oil. He pitched having the windows cleaned and vacuumed inside for an additional $5 to which I agreed. I left my number and patiently waited all day again and never received a call. I came back before close and sure enough just like last time the car was done a while ago and the staff refused to call to let me know to pick it up! When going over what was done with the car. I was once again betrayed as what I asked for was not done. No wipers installed, no synthetic oil and no extra window clean/vacuum to which I agreed too. Once again jiffy lube of West Springfield failed! That was the final time I will ever take my vehicle there since the customer does not get what they want at this location. read more

Absolutely worst place to go to. I'm a younger, single female so I don't have anyone to help with car things so I have no choice but to just trust places like these to be honest with me. I had my oil changed here a couple months ago. They kept trying to get me to replace a bunch of different things in my car even though I said I only want my oil changed. They printed out pages of a bunch of unnecessary things they say I need to replace, adding up to over $500. I said no, just oil. So a couple months pass, and two days ago I went to a friend to get a part replaced in my car, and while doing that he checked my oil. He was shocked as to what he saw and immediately asked me when I changed it and where I went. Checked for leaks, nothing. The oil was almost completely empty, my car could've broken down any second even though I still had almost a thousand miles to drive according to the sticker they gave me. He emptied the little bit that was leftover and it was tar black, and the filter was never changed either. I was told I was so lucky we caught it because the oil was never changed, never added, and filter wasn't changed. So they basically just took my money, popped open the hood, let me sit there, did nothing and said I'm all set. I'm a absolutely disgusted they saw a younger female by herself and not only ripped me off, but almost damaged my whole engine by their greed/laziness/ heartlessness. 10/10 would NOT recommend for any reason. Have gone here many times for oil changes and generally satisfied with service. They are always pushing extra services...changing filters, oil upgrades etc. sometimes I accept, sometimes I decline. However, I recently went for an oil change and they told me my car failed the alignment and I really needed one. Well I had just 3 weeks prior had an alignment done by my mechanic. I brought him the sheet they printed out that showed the fail, and he checked my alignment and it was completely fine. He actually took the sheet that gave me and was planning on calling to confront them. Beware of extra services they say you need. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Employee overtightened the drain plug causing all of the oil to gradually pour out over the course of several weeks. VERY uncharacteristic for my car. Dipstick completely dry so went back to store. Manager was not at all forthcoming about the situation. Had to pull the information out of him with multiple questions. Contacted JLI (national), they contacted the Franchisee (Atlantic Coast). Several times. I tried calling; went right to voicemail. Their website was down as well. Called and spoke to JLI again (3-4 times in total), indicated that I wanted an independent test to determine extent of damage to my motor based on new performance issues that were not present prior to this situation. They reached out to Franchisee. Nothing. Called the store manager. He offered to look at and try to repair. Honestly, he manages an oil change facility; does that make him qualified to do engine analysis & repair? They would only pay for independent test if it was proven there was damage. Asked to speak to district manager and FINALLY heard from him. No movement at all. Abrasive and evasive. Stunning how they try to turn it back on the customer when it was their employee who screwed up. Beware if you ever have a problem with their service; don't expect them to own up to much. read more

I had to bring my car here because we were leaving for vacation and my regular mechanic could not fit me in. I was told I needed new spark plugs, brakes, O2 sensor. I got back from vacation and my car had another problem so I got it to my regular mechanic. They said there was no way I needed spark plugs as they had put in new spark plugs a couple of months ago. And the spark plugs put in by Jiffy Lube were of lesser quality than those they put in. Also, they were not torqued in correctly, so my mechanic had to redo them. Also, my mechanic said that the amount Jiffy Lube charged for labor for the spark plugs was "insane". So, I question whether I even needed brakes.... Do not go here!!!!! read more

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! I had my oil changed 6/5/17. They are completely incompetent. The technicians put the wrong oil filter on AND left off the gasket. When i got up next morning my car was out of oil and luckily I live close to my usual Jiffylube service center. When they pulled my car in and saw what was done they commented that whoever worked on my car should be fired along with the management. My engine might be damaged and I missed a work appointment.
