Then they tried to sell me a new tire. It is a nearly new tire! Just needs to be plugged! Very simple! These people are unprofessional and obviously don't give AF about people. Just want to squeeze as much money out of people as possible, which I'm sure is why they overbook themselves. Who cares if they make you wait for hours in their nasty waiting room with no TV and no A/C.

The full bill for tires and the alignment. After which I get informed that they couldn't do the alignment an that I need ball joints and rear control arms. This would of been very important info to have before paying. Now they have to refund me my money for the alignment they could not be performed. I'm asked next if I would like a price quote for the repairs. At this point absolutely not. You can't inform me before finishing my vehicle that I need repairs an that you can't do the alignment? But you'll gladly charge me for it before reviewing your paper work. Needless to say I left livid. Once cooled off I walked around the truck at home to inspect the tires. Found all four my wheel covers destroyed, scratches, and cracks! You can see where they over tighten the outer wheel balancing nut into my rims and completely ruined all 4 of my rims. Unbelievable!!! As I pulled into the lot, a car pulled into the shop making me the next in line. Within 10 minutes, the car in front of me was in and out. I was impressed with that speed. Then I pulled in and they closed the doors because it was frigid outside. One employee guided me in, another employee greeted me and asked me what services I wanted. A third employee pressurized my tires, and a fourth employee drained my oil from below. I felt like I was driving in a race and I had my own pit crew. That was cool. I was informed that my oil was a tad low upon arrival. I was offered windshield wiper blades and a tire rotation, which I declined. They checked my battery, blinker lights, headlights, and brake lights also. I gave the greeter my email and phone and I subsequently received a $20 off coupon. While my oil was being changed, there was a clock showing the amount of time it was taking. There was also a camera showing the tech working under my car. However, the image was too blurred to make out any details. There was an additional camera above my car and the monitor is next to your window so you can watch it all go down from two different angles. This was one of the best oil change experiences I've ever had, but it's also by far the most expensive. It's 150% more expensive than the dealership's full synthetic oil change and 220% more expensive than Walmart's full synthetic oil change. If I'm ever in a pinch for an oil change again, I might stop by. But the cost is so insane that I will find other options. When I pulled out, the timer was at 9 minutes! That's the fastest oil change I've ever had.

Used to use Knapp's Firestone all the time for my car repair needs. When they closed during the…read morepandemic, I was left trying to find an alternative. I tried several other places and landed back here, at the facility that was formerly Knapp's. After supposedly fixing a noise in my car for over $500 but instead only creating another issue (a creaking noise), the owner said that maybe the problem wasn't the mechanic but me. So I guess if the garage is too incompetent to fix a problem, it's because the customer calls attention to it? There are some rotten mechanics in Wadsworth, but this guy takes the cake. I notice the other review on here (giving 5 stars) mentions only an oil change. I sure hope he goes somewhere else if he needs real mechanical work performed.
