service moms allowed me to accompany in bringing her car to the shop for an oil change, which she said came with a free vacuuming, and which also involved a filter replacement. i'm not particularly knowledgeable about the latter service, but her filter looked about a 3 out of 5 to me, so not unreasonable but if it were me deciding to change, i'd have been looking at that jawn, scratching chin, talm bout ehh lmao. nonetheless, so says the boy without a car. quality the car was looking and sounding in good condition, through the route home, including two stops not far out of the way. also, as i mentioned to the worker at the front desk, who really be living on the clock, the waiting room area at the car service shop is at the top among that category. other favorites, such as st. francis pediatrics and the harvard location of family & children services, are certainly up there with regard to the magazine and toy selection, respectively, but a popcorn stand, coffee machine, soda fridge, and water cooler really be so tough to match, especially when the coloring sheet kiddie table stands in the middle of the room. and not to drag out the section, though the customer service, from both the worker summarizing services and receiving payment at the front desk as well as the worker who showed us the car oil level on a dipstick, was excellent and definitely merits acknowledgement. value the value was respectable, though from what i understand momma to have suggested when i'd asked while in route home if someone with the shop had vacuumed the car, she really expected such a service for the $130 cost. however, considering the collective services of a oil change, which i recall from previous personal visits to the shop as receiving considerate attention to quality; the filter change, which i'd conjecture is integral to providing comfort for drivers and passengers alike that the visible and audible features of the car align with the functionality of its engine; and the food & beverage offerings, of which momma copped a root beer and your boy indulged in a bag of popcorn with solid proportions of butter and salt; are collectively well worth that price. oh and every wednesday is for the ladies at the jiffy lube, $7 off your oil change if i remember right, that be where us guys putting the money we save on shaving in november, so ladies please pullup. read more

One of the best oil changing stations I've been to in a while just west of the Mississippi! Since being on the road visiting family and writing music in the midwest, I had to get an oil change for my Jeep today. Long story short, pulled up to this place, and these guys rock big time. First off, they were super professional in every way and they do a great job on the service for your vehicle. You can't beat not going here. Overall, Goose & Mike were kickass workers there, including another guy, but I didn't get his name. Sorry about that. Anyhow, I typically get my oil changed in LA/HW area, however, this was a treat simply due to top customer service, efficiency, and just great guys working at this place. This visit to this oil changing station has changed me to move over to Jiffy Lube vice Valvoline. Thanks, Jiffy Lube, and thanks to Goose & Mike. Give those guys a raise! Take care brothers. This is a quick, convenient place to get an oil change. They have popcorn, sodas, coffee and water available for you. The restroom is clean and so is the whole building. My daughter was driving from Michigan to Dallas and her oil light came on. I am in Austin Texas when she called me. We looked up "oil change nearby" and this Jiffy Lube was a mile away. I called and explained the deal to the guy who answered. He heard me out and then said "tell her to drive the car here, and I'll take care of her." When I called and told her, she asked if she could keep me online with her on the phone while she drove there (just in case) so I heard her conversation with him. The only reason I don't give these criminals a zero star rating is because it's not an option. First of all after getting my oil changed, upon getting back in my car I noticed a round plastic fastener sitting in my cup holder. I got the manager's attention and he put the loose piece back in place. (it was to hold my glovebox in place, they removed it to try to sell me a filter I didn't need). After leaving Jiffy Lube and arriving home I noticed two screws on my passenger side floorboard. I drive for Uber and I vacuum my car everyday and keep it free of any debris so I know they weren't there until they decided to start taking things on my car apart. I went back to Jiffy Lube the next morning to ask them to put the screws back where they removed them and they denied removing them. They claimed that they never remove any screws which was a flat out lie. Finally weeks later I take my car into Sam's to get a tire repaired and they checked the pressure on my other tires and they had been overinflated. The criminals at Jiffy Lube were the last ones to touch my car so it was them who overinflated the tires. My tires call for 36 p.s.i. but these guys inflated them to 63 p.s.i. God knows how much it stressed my tires being overinflated like that, not to mention how dangerous it could have been for myself and my passengers if a tire had blown out going 65+ on the highway. Last of all I had a pack of sanitary wipes in my glovebox which magically disappeared while in Jiffy Lube. Perhaps it was an honest mistake...maybe it fell out while the were removing my glovebox and they forgot to put it back in, but judging by the way these folks were acting, I can't help but to think they stole them. If you are needing an oil change then I highly recommend you do not go to Jiffy Lube at 27th and Harvard. read more

You can find a better place to get your oil changed - in fact, if you drive just a little ways south, there is a much better Jiffy Lube near I-44. Overall, they got my oil changed... I think. The cool thing about Jiffy Lube is that not only will they change your oil, but they'll vacuum your car, air up your tires, refill your wiper fluid, etc. They didn't touch the tires, which is frustrating because I know they have air pressure gauges (whereas if I measure it it's a huge hassle and I just bought new tires so they need to be right!) They didn't turn off the "change oil" blinker on my car, which is about the biggest annoyance on Earth. I guess I don't really mind doing it, but I have to take ten minutes each time and figure it out, whereas they're likely pretty experienced. One really positive thing about this store is that a lady gave me a coupon for five dollars off in the lobby. I guess she printed an extra and didn't need it - so from my limited sample, their customers are very nice! (If someone knows where to find these coupons, they should add that as a tip!) Finally, they actually were pretty quick. I usually do this on Saturdays, so I appreciate them getting me in and out because I'm usually knocking out chores. I'd guess that it was less than 30 minutes. Overall, I think they got the oil changed, which is why I gave them a starting point of two stars. The rest of the experience was fine, but I wouldn't go back. There are better alternatives. read more

The employees were friendly, courteous, and efficient, the waiting room was clean, and overall, it was the best experience I've had getting my oil changed. After many years of getting my oil changed at this location, I have never once felt like I'm being "upsold" here, and I'm always shown the work under the hood before I drive off. Went in to 49th and Harvard Jiffy Lube for a quick oil change. They tried to upsell me on additional services before I got out of my car. When I went in I told the service rep that I just wanted an oil change and to please do a cash ticket. In front of her computer she began asking me alot of questions, including my name twice. Then she tried to upsell me on several of their services. I told I wasn't interested in any other services. When it came time to check out she called me 'Mr. Cash'.
