Requested an oil change and air filter change. Prompt service no delays. Respectful staff with good value.

Buyer beware: Jiffy Lube damaged my car and refused to take responsibility. I took my car to Jiffy Lube for an oil change a few months back. During the service, the manager told me that the technician had accidentally stripped the drain plug. I was told they were working on a solution. About 30 minutes later, I was told they had re-tapped the drain and that the car was good to go. I trusted what I was told and left. At my next oil change, I discovered that they had not re-tapped the drain as I was told. Instead, a permanent plug had been installed. The manager had me visit the full-service Fowler store, where I was told someone would fix the issue. I made the trip, only to have the garage refuse to even inspect the car. After multiple emails, texts and calls, I eventually spoke with an area manager. Despite the fact that their technician damaged the drain plug and I was specifically told the issue had been repaired, Jiffy Lube ultimately refused to correct the problem. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a company handles them. In this case, Jiffy Lube damaged my car, gave me inaccurate information about the repair, sent me to another location that wouldn't help, and ultimately refused to take responsibility. It cost me $1,076 dollars to replace the oil pan this week. I'd strongly recommend Tampa consumers think twice before trusting local Jiffy Lubes with their vehicle. Keep your receipts, document everything, and don't assume that a problem they cause will be taken care of. read more

Pulled in on Monday February 23rd with zero line. Score! I had a Groupon for oil change and tire rotation. Depending on location I sometimes have to drive my own car in the garage due to no one knowing how to drive stick shift. I do not mind at all. I was in and out in less than 15 mins. They guys were extremely kind, quick and efficient. I tipped them 10 each cash for being so fantastic and was on my way. Will definitely return there when it's that time again. read more

The location on S Dale Mabrry - DO NOT GO - I went three times - each time being given an excuse of why I could not get an oil change and tire rotation. The first time they were out of oil - really The second time - tire rotation machine does not work Third time - tire rotation machine isn't the type needed for your car All excuses given by the same person . So if you have a choice find another Jiffy Luve read more

Gabriel is the man. They all were nice and made sure I was good to go. Got an oil change and new battery.

They had us do unnecessary things and then when we got back on the road there was scraping under our car and we had to go back and deal with it. Not a good experience. We just wanted an oil change. All this for 130 dollars. Unacceptable read more

Destiny was amazing! She was very helpful & knowledgeable, she had a smile on her face the whole time! :-) I was in and out less than 10 minutes. You really can't beat Jiffy Lube, all of their employees did an excellent job I couldn't have been happier with the service I received! 10/10 A+ read more

I just got my oil changed with Gabriel, he explained what was needed for my car and was very helpful. He was super knowledgeable and professional. I would definitely recommend this place. Ask for Gabriel and he'll definitely help you out! Thanks. I'll be back for my next one! read more

fantastic service would recommend the assistant manager is extremely professional. very courteous.

Came in for an oil and and was offered some add ons for an air filter replacement and window wipers. Firstly, one of the employees forgot to remove the yellow gaurd on the new windshield wipers. For a handful of months I've been wondering why my car has been having a tough time cooling the air.... Of course it was put in bent and backwards. Never returning, at least they can change oil, hopefully. read more

Jiffy Lube - Air filter - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Tampa, Florida

BE AWARE DONT GET SCAMMED: I am a busy professional and dont have time to do my own oil change so I trusted Jiffy Lube with my f150 truck. I got a weird feeling that this place was sketch. The next day I checked my oil and it was dirty as if it was never done ....and I also checked the oil filter and it was dirty with black silt...meaning it was not new and it was still the old filter. On top of that they never gave me a paid invoice and I never got the email. I was finally able to go back days later and I talked to the manager Juan..I was not feeling confident and I had to bite my tongue from saying more and crashing out. He did apologize and said the tech was off today but that the tech had not signed off on the oil filter change and that he probably did not fully drain my oil and thats why it was still dirty when I checked it. I was about to go postal because you pay these "pros" to take care of your car and they violate your trust. Juan offered to redo the oil and filter. With a bad taste in my mouth and to prevent my Crash out!!, I agreed but I watched him the whole time. He did no offer any other compensation to make things whole until I asked for a next free oil change and he appeared reluctant as if I was asking too much..then he just wrote a note on my old receipt that he printed. This a clear contractual violation to perform services and with potential damages to your car. I dont think I will ever trust this location or any other Jiffy Lube...1 out of 5 because there are no negatives stars..How many other people did not get the oil change they paid for? read more

I'm sorry I didn't take any pictures. I was in and out so quickly, there wasn't time. It was truly (brace yourselves) a jiffy. It was also, a pleasure. From the minute I pulled up early on a Monday morning, they were so warm and welcoming. I was escorted into the waiting room, and took a seat while they drove my car in. In a very short time, the tech came in and gave me the rundown on my car. He was friendly and informative-gave suggestions for things I could consider doing, without pressuring me, and then finished my service. He walked me out to the car, where I was greeted with the red carpet/mat and I was ready to go. If only all of the things on my massive "to do" list went as smoothly as this. I will make this my standard oil change location from now on!!! read more

I've gotta say- the crew here was absolutely awesome. They made sure this was the absolute most convenient, fast, amd service oriented oil change that we've ever experienced..and it was. I came here because I'm from out of town and the reviews were better in the past. let me just tell you DO NOT COME HERE! I went for an oil change and they charged me $90. Not to mention they stripped my drain plug because they hire a bunch of high school drop outs! EVERYONE STAY AWAY TRUST ME! read more

Quickie review - kind of a warning. Was finishing up a very nice breakfast at 18 Bagels across the street when I saw their truck go by with a sign - "Saturday special $19.99". I pulled into the driveway and was promptly greeted by a manager who told me my car would require a $79.99 oil change. When I explained that my dealer does it for 49.95 while I wait and includes tire rotation and more he shrugged his shoulders and looked at me like I was crazy. Two points: I felt like that the mobile billboard was a bait and switch. And I suppose my Ford dealer does a pretty darn good job. Kudos to them. read more

Team did a great job with my vehicle. I'm disappointed in policy changes. $7 to top off coolant and no tote pressure check. These services were always included in the $79 full synthetic. read more

didn't want to get the full service and one worker was very disrespectful because I didn't want to pay for everything extra like my air filter which I changed the month before only wanted a oil change and a new oil filter but that wasn't satisfactory for him and kept telling me my car was gonna blow up because I didn't want him to change my air filter after I just changed it a month ago. read more

This was single handedly the best auto experience I've had in my life. I had the pleasure of Larry assisting me. I went in for a simple oil change and he recommended I get transmission fluid. Did not use scare tactics or anything forceful, so I gladly accepted. Not only was Larry a professional, he was kind, courteous and a wonderful human being. He just secured a customer for life. Thank you Larry. P.s. Jiffy Lube... Give this guy a raise. This is the kind of people you want running any business. read more

Go to Valvoline instead!! I was here to get a simple oil change and ended up spending more time and money to replace the damage that was done in my vehicle. about a month after I had the oil change, my car it started making noises, so I took it to the dealership to get it checked out and they told me that there was no oil left in the oil pan. I wish I could get my money back and that I would've gone anywhere else other than Jiffy Lube to get my oil changed the first time!! I will not be back and I would not recommend this location or any other Jiffy lube to anyone! read more

respectful and friendly service! quick service and professional workers. highly recommend. read more

Came in on a busy Saturday and got a quick, honest and affordable oil change! Would recommend to anyone in the area.

If I could give zero stars I would. Unfortunately, this place is still in business. I highly recommend that you DO NOT take your vehicle to this location. The workers there are so unprofessional and disrespectful. They spent more time talking about non-sense than doing their job. A simple oil change turned into having to get my oil changed three time in one week due to the inability to complete a routine task. Also costing me over $400. After a month of contacting the store, I still haven't received my refund. I will never take my car to this location or any other Jiffy Lube for that matter. read more

They never ask me about selection of oil they will use, they charged me about $100 for just oil change. I will be never return here. People working there is not friendly at all. read more

Jiffy Lube - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Tampa, Florida

As usual, I had a great time experience at Jiffy Lube on Dale Mabry Hwy just South of Kennedy Blvd. My oil was a little low. I was in Brandon so I went to a different oil change provider and they didn't completely fill it. So I stopped by Jiffy Lube, my usual place. They were happy to take care of me and even gave my little dog some treats. These are very nice people. Gator and Jamieson-Thank you! read more

easy and fast! the employees were nice and explained every step. would 100% return again to this location

I love this place. They are always so nice here and go above and beyond in their service. I'm sitting here as they are even cleaning my windows and vacuuming my car all as a part of my oil change?! I was worried they wouldn't be able to get to me before they closed so I called and they told me to come on over. I have a fleet vehicle so it doesn't really matter where I go but I came here last time and everyone was so friendly I had to come here again. I highly recommend for their above and beyond service. read more

Let's start with the positives: service was very friendly. That's about it. I spent over an hour getting nothing more than an oil change (literally). I've been told that "it'll be just five more minutes" and "I'm gonna get the car out for you real quick" multiple times. Please don't lie to me or insult my intelligence: if something is taking longer than it should, just tell me it'll be 30 more minutes - I'll be annoyed, but not as pissed off as I was when I was treated like a child. It's incredibly frustrating watching two cars that came in after me pull away while mine still had the hood popped up. Sadly, this isn't the first time it's happened to me here - but it sure as hell will be the last. Someone needs to change things (pun not intended) at Jiffy Lube. read more

Because of Covid, they have you crack your window, put in some AC and relax in the car. The guys working on my car did so in 20 mins-super speedy, no high-pressure sales tactics. The crew there today was super amazing, thank you! Will definitely come back again. read more

Service was fast yes, and no pressure to up-sell me on oil or filters. However, shortly after the oil change, I jumped on the highway and seconds later, I had to pull over. They failed to reattach the mud guard to the under chassis and it ripped off from the wind. You had one job...Unacceptable! read more

Cannot recommend this location enough!! Cooley and his crew took amazing care of my car today. They were so transparent, filled me in on every step they were doing, and didn't try to upsell me on anything. I have never had such quality service at any shop in my life! They were all so nice and accommodating. This will be my new go to place! read more

Great experience, young lady name Alex was so professional and quick. Very satisfied!

Arrived just before closing with a badly corroded battery cable and terminal that risked the car not working at any moment. The staff helpfully and cheerfully fixed the issue, even though they had to go get a part from an auto parts store and work an hour past closing to get me squared away. read more

Christopher at this location is the most professional jiffy lube employee I've ever met. I've been getting my oil changed at jiffy for 8 years and Chris is why I keep coming back. He's so friendly, works hard, and keeps the team in check. Chris you are the GOAT. thank you read more

Outstanding customer service. Coolie went out of his way to help me out. I went in for an oil change because the place I typically would go didn't have my oil. However the skid plate was held on by zip ties because 2 clips were lost during my last oil change. I had a pack of 900 clips and Coolie went through all of them to put the right ones on my car. Didn't try to upswell me on anything I didn't need. Overall great experience and this is now my go to oil change place. Thank you guys! read more
