11/7/24 Daughter dropped off her Suv for a slow leak in one of her tires. She had a photo of the nail, and double checked before she droppped it off. She just needed a patch, NOT A NEW TIRE. Low and behold they called her and sent her a photo of a shiny new nail very close to sidewall. That nail was NOT there as she look right before she dropped it off. It has been leaking 3 weeks, the nail would not be new and shiny, Because of this nail which they PUT in her sidewall, she needs a new tire. We have photos of original nail(in middle of tire which could be patched) And new nail in sidewall which caused the need of new tire. Which we did not buy from them. Worst experience at a repair place ever. They are a bunch of liars. We spoke to them yesterday after we left and they diagnosed our car saying the alternator was the problem and would charge the battery and they replaced it etc. We paid NINE HUNDRED AND FIFTY SEVEN fallars for this mind you. When we left we called saying that the warning lights came back on. The worker answered and said "oh its fine the alternator will charge the battery enough so you can get a replacement battery at Walmart". Well, we get halfway home (on the highway), and the entire car starts flashing lights and cuts off completely. We call because obviously the diagnosis and new alternator we PAID FOR didn't do squat. They TELL US on the phone, "OH, tow it back to us and we will fix it tomorrow AND reimburse for the tow since we didn't fix it today." We say no problem and get a tow truck and pay for it to take it all the way back instead of somewhere closer. Well we get there today, and they charged us $253 for the labor and battery and then tell us they changed their minds, and because there was an alternator problem they did their part and aren't paying for the tow they said they would. Im seriously going to see about contacting legal advice about this and will be looking to get in touch with corporate. Don't go here they WILL f you over. read more

Second time I take one of my cars there second time they disappoint, Called to get 4 tires replace, i bought the tires... first start with a big issue that the tires must have the sticker ( i guess liability) they gave me a price I got there, one the mechanics greets me and call a more experienced one, the guy take a look a the car for less the 20 sec he said he cant replace the tires because, the ceiling is not that high and he cant put it on the lift..... what about a regular lift like the ones that come with every car.... I work right down the street. From the circle k on Kennedy blvd and I love the staff. However, there was someone working the register today that spoke very demeaning to the other staff there that was cooking. The lady was saying she was doing an awesome job. Considering she was the only one at the register today. I assumed they were short staff. After the lady peeping the food gave her a complement she told her not to talk to her. That's she isnt a child and doesn't want her speaking to her. Then the food proper touched her because it was a tight squeeze back there and again she spoke to her so harshly that I wanted to say something. She spoke to this woman with such distain when all this poor woman was doing was complementing her. It was quite awful.. She told her not to touch her. Just leaving Tampa after a cruise, my husband hit a brick which required a new tire. After searching for the closest tire place we called TiresPlus and asked if they could fit us in as we had a 12 hr drive home. Charlie let us know he could but it could be a few hours wait. Upon our arrival, AJ the manager was able to fit us in right away, with practically no wait. We were in and out within an hour! Considering this was an Saturday morning and they were busy, we were so grateful that they were able to accommodate us quickly which allowed us to get on the road sooner rather than later. Have been going to this tires plus for many years. I am visiting today for a free alignment and tire rotation. The free tire rotation came with the purchase of my 4 tires. I purchased the lifetime alignment package and actually use it. It's important to rotate tour tires and get an alignment every six months! Per the managers at Tires Plus. This location is busy but they will try to get your in if it's an emergency. I have gotten tire work, battery work and an oil change here. I have been satisfied with all services. Have had a few hiccups this overall satisfied. My husband drives a BMW and they replaced his battery. I do not think they put in the correct size so the battery died in less than a year. They replaced for free and I think we now have the correct size. Still annoying. I do recommend this Tires Plus if you are location. Also, they are open on Sunday which is really helpful! read more

I had my tire pop on the way to Tribeca Salons. It was raining, and they're literally next door, so with my stylists blessing, I ran my car next door and let them put a new tire on. Though I have road hazard, I didn't know that at the time, so I paid for a brand new tire, and had them bag up my old tire to take it to the dealership, but Tires Plus took care of me just before closing. On a Sunday I got in my car to find low tire pressure, my husband saw there was a nail on one of my back tires, I called on Sunday around 12:30p, spoke with Nick who confirmed they could look at the tire and estimate if could patch or need to replace the tire. I have a rental car that needed to be serviced for Hertz. I took my car to Tites Plus on Kennedy boulevard thinking that I will receive great service but I was wrong. Even though Hertz recommended tires Plus as one of their approved vendors not this particular location might I add. The technician that I spoke to was not knowledgeable about the required service for my car nor did their personnel complete the work that was requested of them. Had I not been wise enough to realize the inconsistencies between the problem and the service I would have no way of me knowing the work was not done. I called them to discuss this matter to which they properly excused excusenferring the work had been done, however, the same issue I had when I went to them it's the same issue I have now which means that not only did they lie about performing the service they didn't listen to my initial complaint to ensure that at least that was resolved. Since the pandemic service with corporations has plummeted and this company represents such events. Do not take your car to tires Plus on Kennedy boulevard because you will be scammed and not listened to. read more

Called me during the repair. Asked if I wanted to add any upgrades which I declined. I went to pick up my car, it was done. When I drove off, it was so nice and smooth. The workers there were absolutely amazing and helpful and made the process. Very smooth for me. I hope that I won't have to see them again anytime soon. Do not go here! I went just to get a patch put on my tire. They then told me that my tire was dry-rotted (which it isn't) and obviously attempted to get me to buy 4 new tires. You know they gotta make their money and all but at least be honest. I ended up taking my car elsewhere and they patched it up with no problem and confirmed the tire was not dry-rotted at all. I feel like this dishonesty is partially due to the location, it is SO close to UT's campus. Going in there as a young college student they assume that parents will just fork over the money to fix their kid's cars when they're away at college. Once I asked about the charge they lowered it to $50. When I took it somewhere else, they charged me not even half for the same work. Had a flat tire on an All-Wheel Drive TESLA. Despite having 1 already brand new tire on the car. I was told I HAD to replace ALL 4 tires! Recently, I just had 1 brand new tire put on at Good Year tires, but was told a BS line that due to "Tread Depth" they had to replace all 4 tires on an All Wheel Drive car due to liability which is complete BS! Just them trying to leverage my flat tire situation to force me to get x4 new tires. I had an awful experience at another Tires Plus earlier today where I scheduled a service online and they refused to honor the appointment due to call-outs. While I understand the pressures of not having the staff, it led to a major upset to my schedule since no one called and informed me. I called the Tires Plus on W Kennedy, and Nick answered with the happiest tone! He informed me that I would have to wait an hour and a half for an alignment, but I decided to go ahead and have the service done since my day was already shot. Upon arriving, Nick informed me that they had pushed a more intensive service behind me since mine wouldn't take very long. He was responsive, courteous, and most of all compassionate. I dropped my corvette off in working condition at tires plus on Saturday may 20 for a 10am appointment to have 4 tires installed. When I dropped the car off I was told it would take a few hours to install the tires. At 1:32 pm I received a call from Charlie saying that although tires were not yet done I needed a new battery, my brake fluid changed and new air filter. When i explained that I had recently changed the filter myself and it had only few hundred miles on it he quickly backtracked and said that he "was looking at the wrong invoice". I approved the new battery and brake fluid work in addition to the tires. 4:30 rolls around and I'm wondering what's going on with my car. I called and I was told there was an issue with a fuse but it would be done soon. Finally at 5:36 (7 and half hours after dropping off my car for a new set of tires) they called to say my car was ready. No mention was made of any serious problems with the car.I got a ride to the store, paid the bill and am handed my keys. Again no mention about problems with the car. When I started my car all the dashboard warning lights were going off and the car is in reduced power mode. When I ask the guy who was working on my car what was going on he replied that he had been working on the car all day and couldn't figure out what was wrong. I asked why I wasn't told there were problems he couldn't answer and was surprised no one informed me. I went back inside and asked the guy at the counter why I wasn't notified but he was clueless. I was then told that they didn't have a mechanic there until Monday and couldn't help. So at 6 pm on a Saturday night I had to drive my car home running very rough and it wouldn't go faster than about 25 miles an hour. I spoke with Charlie on May 23 and I explained how upset I was about the damaged car and the complete lack of communication. I finally had it towed to a real mechanic and found out that the tac module was damaged and had to be replaced. I was also told that tires plus had used the wrong fuse and that the amp too high. My guess is that they either tried the wrong battery or the connected the terminals backwards causing all the damage. The tow and repairs ended up costing me over $1200. Since the problem occurred when it was at their shop I called June 20 and asked Charlie for reimbursement for the repair and tow. He told me that he would speak to his manager and took my number but I've not heard anything since. Icing on the cake is that my tire sensors are not working now. I'm one of those people who generally doesn't trust auto mechanics, but I've been here a few times and am a fan. I've gotten new tires here and been a few other times for oil changes and other relatively minor services. Alfredo knows his stuff and is always extremely helpful and doesn't try to rip you off the way I feel mechanics sometimes do. Had an appointment to check tire for slow leak, but even with appointment it took over an hour to check tire. After they checked tire, I was told by the manager John, that the nail was in the sidewall and couldn't be fixed, he said I need a new tire for a cost of $176. I knew something was fishy when he refused to show me the location of the nail, so I left and went to a different tire shop with only a 10 minute wait and they patched the tire for $25.
