I was told it would take about four hours and be done the same day. Instead, it took four days to get my car back. During that time, the staff acknowledged they had mistakenly drained the transmission fluid instead of the engine oil, which required additional correction and caused the delay. That alone was alarming. Within 24 hours of picking up the car, my daughter was driving on the highway when the splash shield detached and started dragging underneath the vehicle. She had to pull over and call for roadside assistance to remove it. We later found out the splash shield could not be reinstalled and needs full replacement, costing $910.46, plus $100 for roadside assistance. I spoke with the store, who referred me to higher-level management. I then sent a detailed email with all documentation and was told the issue would be reviewed. I have received no follow-up. I'm simply asking to be reimbursed for the $1,010.46 in damages caused immediately after their service. Between the multi-day delay, admitted mistake, and unsafe condition right after pickup, this experience was extremely disappointing. I would not trust this location with my vehicle. Update (30 April 2026): After escalation to corporate, the issue was reviewed and ultimately resolved through their insurance provider. The full amount of damages was reimbursed. While the initial experience was frustrating, I appreciate that the matter was ultimately made right.

Our car was having problems on a Saturday evening. We managed to make it home and the next day I…read morestared to look around for a mechanic. I used my diagnostic tester to try to determine what the problem was. The tester indicated that there was a misfire in one of the cylinders. I finally reached Cruz Auto Repair in the late afternoon. Corey replied back that he could come to the house between 6 & 8 that evening (Sunday). Corey came at about 6:45 and immediately began to diagnose the issue and found that the cylinder had a bad spark plug. We talked about a price and I decided to have Corey change all the plugs. which he did. running a test again, he found that one of the coils was also bad. Since it was late at night, after 8 PM and the auto parts store was closed, we discussed a price and agreed that Corey would come back the next morning with a new replacement coil. Corey came back the next morning and replaced the coil and now the car is working just fine. From the start, Corey showed knowledge of auto repairs, did exactly what he said he would do for the price that he quoted each time. I would highly recommend Cruz Auto Repair for all repairs. I hired Diogo twice. The first time I asked him to thoroughly check my vehicle because I had…read morebrakes installed at Meineke and they were making noises. I also had smelled gasoline in my car multiple times. Diogo arrived promptly and it was convenient to have him working on my car while I was at home. He was incredibly thorough with checking the car for possible fuel leaks. I also learned a lot from his inspection. I asked him to remove and re-install the brakes to make sure they had been installed correctly. He did it so quickly and discovered that Meineke had not properly lubricated a part, which is what had caused the noise. After he was done, we took a test drive in the car and the noise was gone. The brakes were so smooth after that. I hired Diogo a second time to change my spark plugs. Again he was very quick and efficiently got the job done. I appreciated his recommendations for which spark plugs to use. My car is running great, and I will be trusting Diogo with all my future car maintenance.
