Ok, so choosing stars is subjective, so here are the objective facts that led me to going with one star: -Condescending customer service: I won't recount the entire interaction, but here's a part of it... "What kind of oil do you want?" (I'm taken aback because in my 40+ years of car ownership I have never been asked that question in such an opened way) "Aaaa...well...do you mean the brand or the weight?" "Both." (Again, with no qualifiers.) "I suppose whatever weight the manufacturer recommends." "5w-30." "Okay, let's go with that." "What kind do you want?" "I don't know my options." (Rattles them off). "Conventional, I have a Groupon for conventional." "There will be some additional charges, like for extra oil. That car takes a lot of extra oil. About $15 more." (So, $25 Groupon + $15 extra, so it will be a $40 oil change any way) "Fine, go ahead." As you would expect at a Jiffy Lube they bring both the engine & cabin air filters to me and offer to change them...for $60 more). I pass, along with all the other maintenance suggestions offered. Fast Forward to time the time to pay. That $15 extra somehow became $23 extra, meaning my "discounted", conventional oil change was $48. That's not all. They did convince me the filters needed changed, so I went to the parts store to buy them (at a fraction of the cost). I then noticed one of the black glove box retaining clips sitting on the passenger side seat. Later, when I went to replace the engine filter I noticed they didn't even bother to tighten one of them. So impressed by the guys at Jiffy lube! I got my oil changed at Spokane quick lube. They had recommended a new filter, and then told me they were unable to change it because they didn't have the tool and offered a weak sorry. On the way home I drove past jiffy lube and decided to stop to see if they would change it for me. I drove in and explained the situation. They happily changed it out for me without a cost, including washing my windows as well. They also explained the engine flush that the last place had talked me into probably hadn't been necessary, although they wouldn't have been able to tell since it had been done. They were friendly, helpful and explained things to me without making me feel stupid. They have absolutely earned my business from here on out! Great service, and great people! Stopped in to have my A/C serviced. The mechanic said my A/C compressor was not working and needed to be replaced. The freon was empty. Anyone knows that the compressor will not work if out of Freon as it also works as a lubricant for the unit. Would not listen to my answer as I'm a female I'm sure but I know my cars !! Then he proceeded to tell me how bad the Jeep Grand Cherokee is as his wife had a one blah blah blah. Well I have had mine for over 10 years and with proper maintenance it is still in excellent shape and no issues for a 2004!! I felt his character was very unprofessional and to down grade my vehicle is way disrespectful. So went to Mechanic's Pride and for less money got my A/C working and could not of ask for a more professional service!!! read more

In the neighborhood so my wife and I brought her vehicle in to get the oil changed. As soon as we hop out, I ask an employee if they still vacuum floors and wash windows. I was informed that they do. The oil change itself went quickly but when ready to get in, I notice the windows were untouched. I ask the same employee if she would still be able to do so. After an apology the windows were washed but soap streaks left to run down the car in several places. We pay and then leave and receive another apology from the cashier stating they are busy. Upon entering we notice only the front seats floors were quickly vacuumed and that the steering wheel was covered in oil. Honestly I am quite upset about the service at this location. Great service, really nice guys. I came in first thing at 8am for an oil change and John helped me right away. Jeremy started working on my car right away while John got me setup. I am only driving thru town to Seattle but just drove cross country and needed to get my oil changed after the long drive. They had me out of there within 30 minutes and were so professional. Attentive techs. Didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. Recommended air filter based on schedule and tranny fluid based on schedule and appearance of fluid. Turned down both though as I had changed filter myself and didn't have time for tranny fluid. Saw tech double check all caps before finishing. 50% off Yelp check-in coupon applied to full price (almost double advertised price), so ended up paying 2x as much as expected. -1.5 stars for that, and I've seen much nicer waiting rooms, -0.5 stars. Mediocre vacuum job and didn't reset maintenance indicator. -1 more star. Total 2 stars. read more

Went here for years and they always provided a great service and never tried to sell me any add-ons I did not need. Their prices got a little high in my opinion so I tried a different cheaper place in town that tried to sell me stuff I did not need so I now go back to jiffy lube. They would get five stars if they were a little more affordable! read more

Greatest experience ever at one of these places. Mechanics always have me on edge thinking what are the going to say is wrong. Thes guys were helpful and fast and only tried to sale me my air filter that was dirty but I'm cheap and will probably change myself. read more

This location is always excellent. The staff here are professional and helpful. They have even provided free, basic diagnostics and taken my used oil. Nice, honest guys. They explain things very well and never push anything on you. I used to change my own oil but it's so much easier to just trust these guys. read more
