Rare to have a business decline revenue... on a slow Sunday morning no less! Although the Jiffy Lube brand is a recommended service provider by my fleet company, the manager made a decision of not servicing my company car (they have done routine oil changes on my fleet vehicle prior). Needed a quick oil change so called the shop as we were driving there. They made the appointment as we drove up. We went right in, and they were done in fifteen minutes, including changing the cabin filter and the intake air filter, topping off the fluids and the oil change. I dragged myself into Jiffy Lube a few hours ago, fearing that I'd get the usual upsell stuff women unfortunately still get at some car service places (and having been ripped off big time a couple of years ago by another mechanic). Instead, I was told by the employee who was my first contact that my oil change was not due - regardless of what my "My Chevrolet" app was telling me, and that they checked it out and the oil was in fine shape. It's Jiffy Lube people. They do basic auto maintenance. What set this place apart is the fact that it is right next to Sun Devil Auto which appears to get the lions share of customers. Today this place was empty and I drove right up and I'll be gone in 15 minutes for a oil change only. If you are on the move and need that oil change, give them a try and you'll get something critical done and save a bit of time too. Horrible service. When I dropped off my car there was one car leaving the bay. I was told it would take 30 minutes. It took over an hour. Also a car came in after me and left before me. The manager Mike said I was "in a bad mood and nothing would make me happy." He was rude and so unprofessional. In what world is it acceptable to tell and argue with a customer? This guys scam you without blinking an eye. Four months ago I went in they charged me for all these extras for a simple oil change...tire rotation $19.99, new wiper blades, cabin air filter, etc. The tires weren't rotated because the rims were dusty and not a fingerprint on them, the blades were dirty from last time it rained. Manager said it was an honest mistake and rescinded charges. Took my vehicle in again this week for a simple oil change and AGAIN the invoice was over $180.00. This time I marked all four tires with chalk and dotted the wipers with nail polish and SURE THING. They claimed they did all the items listed, tried to charge me for them and did NONE. I've come here 30 minutes before closing and they've said that they already shut their computers down and the managers gone so they cant help me. My husband has taken his car here a few times, and mine just once (my gut instinct to stay away was apparently warranted). The last time, they broke the hood latch off my car (so you can no longer pop the hood without using pliers) and suggested my husband could glue it back in place (um, no- that would not work, for the record). Then they said they'd order a replacement and call him when it came so they could fix it. Then they never did. My husband assured me he didn't even want to go back to ask for them to do the replacement because he's not sure it would even be done properly (okay, good point), so we paid for the replacement ourselves (so, the cheap oil change was decidedly not worth it in the end). In other news, the husband's car has begun consistently leaking oil since its last visit to the 'Lube (admittedly, after a couple prior visits with no issues). Definitely don't try this one; the convenience is excellent (and it's walkable to our house, argh!!), but the service is bad and the quality of work is worse. read more

One star because they lost our business. When we walked in, one employee was in the back screaming at another. After a few minutes, he came toward the counter without approaching it, continuing to chastise the guy in the back. He then turned to my fiance, and was very rude. He acted like we were inconveniencing him. He then badmouthed our vehicle, saying it needs full synthetic and we got ripped off because the engineering in our model was crap. He never even came out to greet us, and tbh was a total dick. I'm typing this from the lobby of Sun Devil Auto next door. They've been kind, and said it wasn't the first time they heard this story. I came here on a Sunday and was expecting to have to wait all day to get my oil change. Thankfully this wasn't the case. I came in with a coupon- waited 15 minutes- and was on my way. Went to this location for an oil change. I was told to pull my car around back and wait in line. As I was pulling my car around back there was another car pulling forward and then stopped and proceeded to back up. As I began to back up to give space to the vehicle the car just stops and out pops an employee and he's waving his arms at me and angrily yelled something as he is running into the shop. Another employee comes out and I explain to him what happened. He tells me that they're all stressed out today because they're busy. I tell him that's no reason to yell at customers because your stressed because your busy. As I pulled away I asked the employee who yelled at me what his issue was and he says he was asking me to back up. I told him he didn't have to yell and wave his arms like I was an idiot. All he had to do was come over to my car and ask me to back up my vehicle as I had no idea what he was trying to do. He then proceeded to again yell at me an tell me bye, have a nice day. I parked and went back and spoke to the manager . He made an excuse for the employee and stated he said he was asking me to back up. I told the manager that's not the way you speak to your customers. If he needed me to back my car up further all he had to do was come over to my car and ask me, not jump out of the car yelling and flailing his arms all over the place and them running into the shop. Reading other reviews it sounds like this place as an employee issue. It starts at the top. TO THE MANAGER OF THIS SHOP. Per the website my carpet should have been vacuumed and Windows cleaned. I paid $150 for my oil change and new air filters and the tech couldn't even figure out how to reset the oil light. It took my husband 2 minutes to figure it out. This team was nice, but definitely minimalists as it relates to their work ethic. read more

If zero stars was an option, that would be what I would give them. Had my vehicle in for an oil change and they summarized in the final review of the work that they replaced my windshield wipers. I told them they didn't need to do that, and hadn't asked if I wanted them to. They ended up clarifying that they indeed did not replace them. When I reviewed my emailed copy of the invoice that evening, they still charged me for the wipers. When I went back the next morning to ask for the refund, they agreed that they didn't replace the wipers, but told me my only option was to take the wipers and a refund was not an option. Fast. Efficient. Helpful. Great customer service. I've been coming to this location on Bell for the past couple years with my previous car. Well I now have a new white convertible BMW and am still getting used to all the bells and whistles... I've had this funny metal thingy hanging from the bottom for the past week that scraped on my driveway. I didn't want to deal with waiting at BMW so I figured I'd stop by Jiffy Lube today to see if they could help me. I pulled up, three gentlemen came out immediately and took a peek. They had me wait inside, took about five minutes, tightened the exhaust device that had fallen down and didn't even charge me!!! (I asked them to charge me and they still insisted no problem). I am very appreciative, as this may have been much more time consuming at BMW. Thank you three for taking the time today to help me out! I've already been a loyal customer to this location with my other vehicle and this solidified it even more so! read more

First time I visited, I arrived 9am on Sun when it was scheduled to open. I was the only one at the front door, the door was unlocked, I walked in and could see cars were already being pulled into the bays but there was no one inside. The staff at the closest bay met eye contact but that was the extent of it. Other staff walked in the front door, threw papers behind the counter as if I was in the way and then walked out to the work bay. Staff provided no greeting. I quickly decided to leave. read more
