I had a great experience at Jiffy Lube during my recent visit. I'm not from this area, and this isn't my usual location for oil changes, but the service here was excellent. Taquil greeted me right when I drove up, guided me to where I needed to park, and was professional and very kind throughout the visit. As a woman, going to an auto shop can sometimes feel intimidating, but the team here made me feel very comfortable and safe. I truly felt like they had my best interest in mind. Went for oil change, San Marcos at Jiffy Lube. Not such a terrific exp. Wanted to make sure everything was , as I wasn't too comfortable with how things were handled. After that I took car to Jiffy lube in Miramar location who has always been the Go To. I needed an oil change and the team at Jiffy Lube was able to get me squared away in a "Jiffy". See what I did there??? I had previously gone to a competitor that had a Groupon deal, but now they were back to their high prices, so I decided to try Jiffy Lube. Their prices were fair and they had no waiting the day I went. My salesperson was funny and made the experience enjoyable. Their regular prices aren't bad, but I had a coupon that lowered the price even more. They run coupons all the time, so there's no reason to get an oil change without using one of those. The biggest advantage to Jiffy Lube is that the entire process happens while you're seated in your car. You never have to leave and that makes the convenience factor jet through the roof. Seriously, the last oil change I had at the dealership was a 4-hour affair and was over $100 (I'm looking at you "The Artist Formerly Known as Ripoff Kearney Ford"). My time is valuable and Jiffy Lube gets that! They have earned my business for my next oil change! read more

STAY AWAY! I brought my plug-in hybrid for an oil change, and a few days later got a warning that the oil was empty. Pulled in to the nearest service station, where they discovered that Jiffy Lube had installed a double gasket (photos) and oil was spraying all over my engine. By the time they diagnosed the problem, the garage was covered in oil too. There could have been serious damage to the engine and/or injury if we hadn't been near a service station when we broke down. I called Jiffy Lube and was told to bring them the receipts for the repair (replacing the oil, washing the engine and resetting the electronic warning signals). But after 4 months I got a letter from their lawyer saying they will NOT REIMBURSE me for any of the repairs -- because I didn't bring the broken-down car to them first! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS (and any other) JIFFY LUBE!!! read more

My Review is based on this Miramar location only. This was my 1st time at this location but not 1st time at Jiffy Lube. I also want to add that I have already spoke to the Mgr Kim and she was very apologetic and overall nice. Employee to me was very rushed. Nice but rushed. They never checked any of my fluids, tire pressure or even offered not 1 recommendation (filter etc). Mind you it has been over a year since my last oil change. I work from home and also had surgery on my foot so not a lot of miles within that year but I was still overdue and you would think I would need some kind of filter or something. Not even confident they checked my battery. Also, I physically showed the employee my coupon on my phone and he still gave me the incorrect discount. I didn't even get a receipt. I know they usually email it but I had to call and ask if they can please email me a receipt. That's how I found out that he applied the incorrect discount. Although Kim did offer to rectify the discount on my next visit, I think I will stick with my regular Jiffy Lube where they are very thorough (even within the short 15-20 min visit). read more

Got here early on Thursday and got my cars oil changed. It took about 20 min, I liked that I did not feel rushed for the first time (every time I come for an oil change I feel I am a pain). It was also the first time the staff did not try to upsell stuff that I did not need, they did offer a few upgrades but they were not pushy.
