This a great location. The service is top notch and professional staff. Great service, good value and amazing customer service. I took it just for a check before a trip and the took care of my car in no time and no charge. I have been going there since I got my first car and now my son goes there. Would not change. read more

I brought my Prius and Lexus here for oil change when I worked on Kearny Mesa. The mechanics are always friendly and professional. Oil change prices are very good. I found early mornings and midday were good with shorter wait times. Shhh ... I'd walk across Convoy to grab something at the Costco Food Court for lunch. read more

Quoted me a price of $113 to change the oil in my new truck. Opened my hood and started then told me they were out of that oil but could offer me different oil at $150 but had a $20 coupon so it would only be $20 more? Seriously? They just ran out of the oil they quoted me? I reluctantly agreed since they're already started. They then took 30min to drain the oil from my car while a technician laid his head on my radiator. And another 10 to add new oil and give me my bill AVOID THIS PLACE read more

Let me tell you this place was super fast!!!! I got my oil changed was in and in like 15 minutes. Was little over $100 bucks for my Honda crv but that's going to be expected with synthetic oil and the make and model of the car. I'll definitely be back. Remember to look for those coupons too!!! read more

Great service from start to finish. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and honest about what my car needed--no pressure or upselling. The oil change was done quickly, and they took the time to explain everything clearly. The shop was clean and well-organized, and the pricing was fair. I really appreciate the professionalism and efficiency. I'll definitely be coming back for future maintenance and would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for reliable service. Amazing service! The staff was quick, professional, and efficient. Shoutout to Luis who explained all of my cars issues perfectly, was helpful in walking me through the oil change process, and it was all done in 15 minutes! Would highly recommend this location. read more

I have been coming here for my oil changes for years and everything has been great. However, I came in without my husband this time and they told me my brakes are at 2mm and need to be replaced urgently. They gave me a quote for this around $600. I took my car to my trusted privately owned mechanic the next day who said they are at 5mm and do not need to be replaced for at least 5,000 more miles. He also said this is Jiffy lubes business model. I will not be going here again and I recommend getting a second option if they try to tell you that you need more than just an oil change. Really disappointing. read more

Amazing service & staff! My mom & I came here when our car was having overheating issues & the crew went above & beyond to make sure we were good to go. Luis walked me through what the issue was with the car & they did a minor repair to help so I could make it to a nearby auto shop for further assistance. I would definitely come back to this Jiffy Lube anytime I need help-- The staff was very nice & communicative. read more

I went at 4:45 pm and it took around 40 minutes for my oil change. I only had one person in front of me. The only downside is they don't carry the batteries for my car which need replacement They didn't try to sell me on anything that I didn't need which is appreciated. read more

(Updated 8/14/2025) - Once again, another excellent visit! Jocelyn greeted me warmly and explained the services clearly, even recommending the special Euro 5W-40 oil that works best for my BMW. Sterling worked quickly and efficiently, and at the end Luis double-checked everything and told me, "Nothing is leaking, so you're good to go" -- how nice is that! As a Marine Corps veteran, I truly appreciate how they take care of military and vets here -- and yes, you get a military discount. Next time, I'll be bringing in my old 1998 Jeep to get the job done as well. I know there are many Jiffy Lube locations because it's a big chain, but what keeps me coming back to this one is Jocelyn, Luis, and the team. They're the reason this place stands out, and I'm sure many other customers feel the same. They truly deserve recognition -- and honestly, a raise wouldn't hurt either. This is the only place where you can trust the work and leave with a smile on your face. Great teamwork every time! read more

Ray and the crew delivered outstanding service, showcasing their knowledge, professionalism, and punctuality. The price for the service was reasonable compared to other mechanic shops I considered. I had my brake pads changed and the brake rotors for both the front and back replaced. They provided excellent care for me and my car. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend their services to others without hesitation. If you want quality service and a great price, this is the spot! read more

BE WARY, THE ONLINE QUOTE AND IN-PERSON PRICES ARE DIFFERENT. I went to get an oil change for my vehicle and the online website quote was $106. However, the service for my oil change ended up being $144 (after a $25 online coupon so the total price was really $169. Yes the oil change was good and normal, however, $106 quoted vs $169 final price is wildly different. I cannot recommend Jiffy Lube because of this. See images. read more

I went in for an oil change. They told me they were out of conventional oil. Tried to upsell me synthetic. They told me they didn't know if or when they would have regular oil. This was classic bait and switch. I will never go there again. read more

I always come here for an oil change when I don't have time to make an apt ahead of time. The customer service is above and beyond. I always get in and out super quick, based on the level of services I'm getting, ie. oil, filters, tire rotations. There are a few spots in the area Ive been to as well but those places always act too busy and don't need the business, so I just come here where they appreciate their customers! read more

Came here for an oil change after a bad experience at the Honda dealership. The people here are very professional, friendly and don't upsell. I asked if they could also take a look at the brakes and they didn't charge me for it. It's definitely worth the money for an oil change and you don't have to wait for over an hour. I'm definitely coming back for my next oil change. read more

Tried to get an oil change for my Chevy Colorado at Kearny Mesa Chevrolet after they emailed me an offer for an oil change with a nice price ($59.99 with full synthetic). I got. There and they would not honor the discount because I didn't bring the coupon with me (that they had emailed to me). Kearny Mesa Chevrolet's excuse was that their marketing department is separate from their service department (??) So I went half a mile away to this Jiffy Lube on Convoy across the street from Costco. I got completely great service. The service person was Jocelyn. She honored a discount coupon that I looked up online. She did NOT try to upsell at all, which is very much appreciated. They did the oil change, filter, airfilter and had me in and out in less than fifteen minutes. Totally terrific excellent service. Highly recommend this place. read more

Super friendly staff. They changed my oil in under 15-minutes. I would highly recommend this place!

Jiffy Lube - I can hear her purring - Oil Change Stations Near Me - San Diego, California

Awful! Stay away from this place. They used 'off market' parts and the oil was leaking after. Had to go to the dealership to re-do the oil change with the right parts. They refused to give refund! Also, Jiffy lube's pricing was double of what the dealership charged. They replied that they want to improve their service!! This is a sham response. I have been trying to get the refund from them for months and they are rude and nasty. read more

This is the location you should choose! Outstanding service with the best quality customer service! they never try to up sell and ensure they explain all costs and make it a point to value our needs!! on top of the service we requested (oil change and coolant), the staff also ensured the tire pressure and all other fluids were within normal range. This Jiffy Lube also offers Military/veteran discounts. read more

Had to get an oil change after work so I could pick up my kid in Menifee. I first went to the location down the street after they checked me in and said they had my oil filter in stock they informed me they could not find my filter. So they told me I could hurry up and drive down to this location and I did. It was about 9min to 6 and they had two people in line and thankfully they still changed my oil. Thank you to Jocelyn, Sherwin, & Edward, you guys really helped me out. read more

Fast, yes, if you know what you need to get done it might be worth going to a jiffy lube to get it checked off your to-do list. In terms of value? I felt gypped off, as my synthetic oil change came out to ~$110+ (does include the oil filter) and the reminder sticker they gave me tells me to come for my next oil change after just another 4000 miles? Wtf? read more

Came here for the good reviews, we called ahead of time to get the alternator changed on my car, they gave they were nice and said to come by, and as soon as my husband pulled up the car died but turned back on (we've had it tested at several places and everyone said it's the alternator causing the issue) the employee at jiffy lube refused service, wouldn't even look at the car. I guess he's lazy and didn't feel like working???? honestly if i had his name i'd include it in the review so anyone could avoid getting service from him. come here if you want to waste your time! :) read more
