I had a great experience here... The assistant manager Jorge took care of me, and provided great service as well as doing an excellent job explaining the services he thought my car needed or didn't need. He actually talked me out of doing a couple things that I was asking about because everything looked good, which I appreciated a lot. Sometimes I feel like people are trying to constantly upsell me in these businesses, and that definitely wasn't the case here. He did identify a service I hadn't been thinking about, and my car has been running noticeably better since. Highly recommend this place. read more

I live in San Diego because I prefer to walk more than I drive. But one of the reasons I hate driving beyond environmental impact is the predatory energy around car maintenance. Especially as a woman I just know they're more likely to take advantage. I got my last oil change here six months ago. I set a challenge for myself to try to only use one tank of gas in six months. So obviously, I have not driven very often. But Google, ChatGPT, and the few men in my life told me that I needed to go get an oil change since it had been 6 months. So I went back to oil changers. To my absolute delight they showed me oil that looked freshly changed. No need to change what's already good. They gave me all the tips I need to know for when I need to actually come back and what I can be doing to maintain my car in the meantime. It would have been so easy for them to just take my money and lie to me. It would have been just a normal errand I'd forget about in a few days. But now I will refer everybody to this location because I am so thrilled with that experience on top of already having a positive experience when I DID need an oil change last time. You don't really expect too much from these limited service shops. But the energy here is good. The people here seem to work well together and after today I will continue to come here as long as I live in San Diego. read more

Very efficient i was scrolling on my phone and got a tap on my window like hey we are done. The team here was friendly and the pricing was very low especially to be here in San Diego. If you drive to fast you might miss it but it's well worth it. read more

Service needed - Oil Change Service provided - Oil Change, Tire pressure check, Air Filter check and Lights and signal lights checked. Transmission fluid needs change in the future before the summer. Overall, it went quicker than normal. I passed by this place often and there is always a long line of cars, they give discounts to ride share drivers, call them or see the sign on the side of the bldg. But on this Sat morning, got lucky as the only 2nd car in the place (they have 2 platforms). They didn't have the air filter for my car but I probably could take care of that myself later. I am satisfied. I would take half a star for not having my filter on stock but I probably could just do this myself. Hello U Tube! Quick in and Out read more

My guy Nino oversaw his staff with precision while Christian changed the oil. Both are masters of their craft. I appreciate them taking care of my car every time I visit. Nino is always on point with his recommendations to make sure my vehicle is serviced properly. But he did tell me I need to come in more often instead of waiting too long . read more

Quick and efficient service, you don't even have to get out of the car. The gentlemen were very kind and thorough with my oil change. They recommended a few things and I was in and out, less than 15 minutes on a Saturday morning. Very fair prices as well. Would highly recommend! read more

We came in for our first oil change in our new car and didn't realize that we actually shouldn't change the oil until we reach 7,500 miles. The owner was really honest about that and recommended that we hold off on getting an oil change since we were only at 4,900. They topped off our oil and fluids and sent us on our way. My husband has come several other times with our previous car and always has a good experience here with oil changes. read more

So glad to have found this service here in San Diego for quick and easy, hassle-free oil changes including filter checks, top offs of all fluids under the hood, light checks and windshield wash for a reasonable price all while never having to leave your car! Bonus points for a generous 15% military discount. Big thank you to Jason for his kindness, attentive care and mindful conversation while my car was serviced that helped the time fly by even faster. read more

Found these guys just driving by and I was super impressed with the service. Would definitely recommend. The wait time will always vary since it's a drive thru. I typically wait 40min to an hour and I think it's worth it. I watch Netflix while I wait lol I've now gotten 6+ oil changes here, a coolant service, and a fuel system service. My car is running great. I think they have great prices plus they do so much more in the service than just an oil change! They check tire pressure, refill washer fluid, check the engine filter, clean ur windshield if it's dirty, and there's free top offs. You don't have to wait in the line to get a top off which is really convenient All the guys are smart and have answered every question I've had. I'm confident in them and will continue to come here. They have a nice "power program" where you get $20 when you have a 2nd service, $40 with a 3rd, $60 w a 4th, and $80 w a fifth (It excludes oil changes sadly lol) but I've saved money getting additional services here! read more

They were quick and got the job done. There wasn't anything thrilling to rave about. Expect a wait - I waited about 20 minutes in line, which seemed pretty good to me. read more

Been coming here for years and am always happy with the service. It's quick and easy and you can always find at least a $10 coupon online that they accept. Today, I ended up getting my transmission fluid changed. The extra cost made me back out of an air filter replacement but the manager, who was also the tech helping me out, helped me out with a $25 discount. Sorry I forgot his name. Cool guy though. Even the guy doing the work under the car popped out and helped me reset my oil change timer. Both nice and friendly guys. Receipt says hood tech. 10727 and lube tech. 16776. Overall with this location, my cars haven't had any issues since bringing them here. The work is good and the people working there are cool. Highly recommend. Side note: I always get a kick out of being shown the dipstick and new oil at the end of the change. It feels like I'm being shown a vintage wine and they're getting my quick approval. read more

These guys work hard & will definitely explain what they are doing if you ask--which is helpful to me. They will keep your car on schedule with maintenance. read more

Be prepared to wait a minute, or two or three. I enjoyed my visit here. The staff and manager especially were really friendly. They worked great together as a team and I didn't get that scam vibe I get as a woman at a lot of car related places. I will definitely be back for sure. They also have a five dollar off check in offer. Drive thru service if you like or don't like that. Prices were unbeatable. My blend oil change was just over 50 bucks. Happy customer here. read more

I've been going here for years with great service. Today there was one car in each bay and I was told the wait would be 15 minutes. Sounds fine. An hour later I left. I have no idea what they were doing with those cars. read more

Love the neighborhood oil change! Nino is always so friendly and keeps it real. I appreciate the quickness and friendliness!

I pulled in with an issue with my cars oil filter housing and cap and the two gentlemen at oil changers were more than helpful getting it all fixed for me! Being a mechanic myself, they were more than willing to show me the worn out plastic cap and busted O-ring Very professional and very kind. I will 100% bring all of my vehicles in for future oil changes. Thanks Jason and Jorge! read more

Excellent, fast and friendly service. I've been coming here since I moved to San Diego for my oil change and would recommend Oil Changers to anyone. read more

Nino was great and very helpful. Very quick service and professional atmosphere. Highly recommend and great value.

Came here for the first time with my husband based off the great Yelp rating. Small location right off El Cajon Blvd and Arizona with 2 drive-thru lanes. Once you pull up, you wait your turn for someone to check you in. If you're new, like we were, they'll grab all your essential info and confirm that they have all the items they'll need for your car, as well as give you a quote before servicing you! Keep in mind that with this type of quick, fast paced type of business, prices will be more expensive, but it was worth it for us since we needed the oil change ASAP. The wait wasn't too bad, but based off what Google noted, there doesn't seem to be a crazy long wait at any particular part of the day. Overall, great customer service and would come back for my next oil/filter change! read more

I appreciate the quick and kind service! There were no upsells pushed, just what is needed and I'm on my way. Thanks guys!

Great customer service, Nino was so helpful and gave me great details to everything they were doing and what he would recommend. I also loved that Nino and Christian who was working on the car with him had great communication as they were looking into the car. This was my first time coming here for an oil change and I would definitely come again! So great to come and have a quick and great service ! read more

Got my oil change and fuel injection service by Jason and Joe Super friendly and helpful employees Got me in and out quickly as well I always get my oil changes here read more

The service was amazing!! Very Informative and prompt they got me in and out with out hassle! See you in 6months or 3k :).

I did did not have a good experience at the Oil Changers on El Cajon Blvd. When I got there, I was told to roll up my windows because the car in the work area was about to blow smoke. Oh my did it. They kept having the car revving and pouring out billows and billows of poisonous pollution. It was awful. Even with my windows up, the air was toxic. I felt sorry for the workers outside and I can't understand why they kept letting that happen. The car was a mess and needed to go to a dealership or a junkyard. When I drove in to the bay, the worker was very sweet but of course, they want to sell you everything and tell you all the things you need. When I was quoted the price, I asked if they had any coupons and he said no. Then I look on yelp and it says $20 off so I am steamed about that. I would not go back. read more

If you're looking for any fluid service done on your vehicle, this is the place to go. Been coming here for years and each experience I have with them is positive, Informative and professional. If you come in and for an oil change and they see it's not needed, they will let you know. They don't B.S or push you to do any service. Wanted to give a Thanks to Nino and Jeremy who worked on my vehicle this time around. I'll definitely be returning for future services! read more

This is the only place I'll come for my oil/basic maintenance on my car. They're always very helpful and don't pressure you to get services you don't really need. I also come by for free oil top offs since my car burns it pretty quickly. read more

Nino and Jason were helpful and got me in and out with everything I needed: an oil change, filter change, transmission fluid change, and even out my new registration on my car for me. read more

Really nice staff!! Very respectful and patient with everyone. Their parking lot gets packed but they do their best to help everyone move their cars around and park efficiently. Waited 20 ish mins before getting my car checked out and the oil change was another 20. Online coupons for the location were nice, too. read more

I gave this place a call today since the dealer system went down and they couldn't even write up a work order. I started looking around for oil change places and this was one of the first places that popped up on yelp. Instead of using there oil and filter I would just buy the parts myself. I gave this place a call to see if they would be okay with that and they said yes, I would only be paying for labor of course. Got the parts and headed over there. There was an about 5 cars ahead of me but patience pays off. I rolled into the bay... (before I forget they quoted me 50 bucks labor) anyways.... I rolled into the bay and I rolled out in about 20 mins or so. Quick and easy and just like what they quoted me on the phone, that's the price I paid. I may give there other location a try just because it looks bigger with 3 bays according to yelp. But overall experience was excellent. read more

I needed an oil change on a weekend and didn't make an appointment earlier in the week as a total goof. Luckily, I found oil changers and was able to do a drive up oil change! I will say depending on the day/crew the time varies - the first time I went I was in and out within 45 minutes (and that was with waiting for a car ahead of me), the next time it was almost 1 hr 15 minutes and I was put in a bay instantly. Overall, not a bad deal particularly if you forgot to make an appointment somewhere. Since you don't leave your car, also possible to catch up on Netflix read more

Always appreciate coming to this location as the workers are always efficient, kind, and honest. They have educated me a lot on taking care of my kia and always appreciate their insight. I come here regularly for my oil changes and do not trust anyone else. They always have coupons if you sign up for their emailing list as well! It can get busy at this location but trust you are in good hands. Shout out to Nino and Julian for their amazing customer service! read more

Great service, very knowledgeable, excellent value, and fast! Shout out to Nino and Padro!!

Impressed with the amount of workers there in such a confined space. The technician I got was able to assist with a coolant issue I've been having dealing with and recommended a mechanic that could provide their expertise in that they wouldn't be able to do in that shop. Overall, highly recommend this joint for a reasonable price. read more

- pull up service; they'll have you wait in your car and drive through (my wait was about 30 minutes and 20 minutes for the oil change) - they provide oil change, checking and filling all fluids, put air in tires, wash windshield, and they will make recommendations on services your car needs (full service oil change) - $10 off coupon offered on their website - I appreciated the thorough explanation of the recommendations and they were professional and kind Overall, Walmart is less expensive but I will likely return here because of quality and location I paid $101 with the $10 off coupon read more

I used to think this was the place to get my oil changed. But each time I come I keep seeing new faces. This last time was not great. My bumper is broken and I'm well aware. In the process of getting it replaced. As soon as I pulled in I saw what was not subtle, the employees looking at my bumper and talking about it. Then one gentleman who checked me in was completely condescending and tried to sell me upgrades I didn't need right off the bat. The other two employees who helped me out were cool people, but didn't forget they were judging my car. Putting two stars only for the convenience of being in and out in less than 30 mins. Not worth the high price they charge though. Will be going elsewhere next time. read more

I don't know about you but I have full on anxiety when it comes to getting my car inspected or worked on but today was different. I felt at ease Came in for an oil change last minute the night before Turkey day. Anyways the 2 young men working today spoke with me about what I wanted to be worked on & Javier was able to do a great job within 10 minutes . Most oil & lube places only do just that but Oil Changers has a long list of services from tune ups to radiator checks. Can't wait to come back read more

I arrived at 6:15pm on Friday, March 8th as their business hours are listed as 8am-7pm Monday-Friday. As the technician begins to work on my vehicle I can hear very blatant complaining and cursing that "he can't see s**t", "why don't you just wait until the last f***ing minute", etc. the entire time my vehicle is being serviced. I was extremely uncomfortable when it came time to pay. The next day I get in my vehicle and begin a routine drive on the 8 East. I don't even make it one mile before I start to hearing a very loud scraping noise coming from underneath my vehicle. The aluminum engine dirt protector was not properly fastened back onto the bottom of my vehicle. Being in a time sensitive matter I panicked and had to resort to a friend driving me around until I had the opportunity to have it repaired. When I brought it in today they told me that the part had become mutilated beyond the point of repair claiming that I destroyed the thing when all I did was get on the freeway like I would any other day. I am now without the part that protects my engine because of this one tech's abysmal attitude and utter carelessness towards doing his job during their hours of operation. I will never return to this establishment and if I could give it less than one star I would. read more
