"Signature Service" under the description. Note the five recommendations for add-on services I mentioned in my review.
Jared C.

I drove in for a $19.99 oil change. I drove out with a 50% cost increase and a bitter experience to keep me away forever. I got the "signature service," which isn't euphemism for customer service. I've added four photos with my review to illustrate the many problems I experienced. 1. The technician told me the tires were at 25 psi, well below the manufacturer's 32 psi recommendation. The technician offered to rotate the tires but I declined, explaining the tires had been rotated the month before at Costco. And filled with nitrogen. 2. The signature service comes with wash exterior windows and vacuum floors, both services were marked declined without my consent. 3. Multiple add-on services were recommended: Fuel Filter ($39.99); Transmission Fluid Service ($119.99); Coolant Fluid Flush ($59.99); Fuel System Cleaning ($??); Brake Fluid Flush ($??) and; spark plugs ($19.99). Had I accepted all of the recommended services, my bill would've exceeded $300. I accepted the additional cost of $5.99 for a rear brake light replacement and paid a total bill of $35.98. Then, I drove directly to Costco to resolve the tire pressure issue. The Costco technician checked all four tires -- all readings of 32 psi not 25 psi -- and told me the gauges are often broken at oil change shops. My experience wasn't the Costco technician's first. The signature service comes with an exterior car wash at Champion Carwash. The car wash didn't remove bird droppings off the car roof but did manage to bend the rear license plate. Ten years ago, NBC4's investigative team in Los Angeles uncovered scams at Jiffy Lube shops, five out of the nine ships investigated were caught on camera, cheating customers on repairs that weren't needed and/or weren't done. (YouTube video link: http://goo.gl/XmyrAl). Unfortunately, there's still a lot of a shady, crooked, deceitful business practices in the oil change industry. Technicians are trained more in selling you services and products you don't need. If you can't do your own oil change, at least check your owner's manual and/or schedule an inspection with an ASE-certified and AAA-approved full service automotive repair facility. Common Oil Change Ripoffs/Upsells 1. Specials, deals or coupons are no longer accepted. Drive away if they jack up the price. 2. Beware of paying for synthetic oil and getting a basic oil grade. 3. Beware of paying for a new oil filter and it isn't replaced. 4. Beware of warnings for a new air filter / fuel filter. 5. Beware of warning for a fluid flush (transmission, power steering, coolant). The technician will tell you the fluid is brown, dirty and/or smells.

Left the cap off the coolant reservoir and nearly burned up my car. I would not at all recommend them.

Industrial Tire Service - Inside the repair area. They do a good job!!

Industrial Tire Service

I came in on a recemt Saturday morning right at opening (8:00 AM) as a walk-in, and the shop was just starting to get busy. Leo and the team got my car in right away, and I was out the door by about 8:35 AM. I had recently purchased a new set of tires from a big chain and was dealing with a persistent wobble that had not been resolved there despite multiple attempts. Instead of defaulting to another rebalance, Leo at Industrial Tire took a more thorough and thoughtful approach. They inspected all four tires, performed road force testing, and carefully evaluated what was actually happening. Leo quickly identified the real issue: one of the brand-new tires was defective and out of round. What really stood out was how clearly he explained everything. He showed me exactly how the tire was behaving, walked me through the diagnostic screen, and made sure I fully understood what to tell the original seller so I could get it replaced under warranty. He even marked the defective tire so there would be no confusion later. The entire interaction was professional, patient, and respectful. I never felt rushed, and it was obvious they genuinely wanted to solve the problem correctly rather than just perform a quick service. Another thing worth noting: they handled all of this with integrity and did not charge me for the diagnostic work. That level of honesty and customer care is rare. I will absolutely be returning for any future tire or wheel-related needs. If you're dealing with an issue that another shop hasn't been able to fix, I would strongly recommend coming here first.

Was in the bay in under a minute (not exaggerating), and back out the door 20 mins later with a patch and they topped the air in all four tires. Told me NO CHARGE. Despite the fact that they knew I was from out of town and would likely never have a need to come back for tires. Just a classy and honest bunch.

They told me the issue was an after market part, and it needed replaced with a stock part directly from Honda. So, they replaced it. Said it was fixed, and sent me on my way. I was on the freeway, driving with my kids and the car began having the same, dangerous issue. THE SAME ISSUE, Midas charged me to fix- sent me on my way, and turns out, it wasn't fixed, and I was $700 dollars in the hole. I brought it back. They said it was a different part I needed now. They tried it, it didn't work. They took the part out and didn't charge me, they said I needed to take it to a Honda store to have it fixed- and Sean, the employee I spoke with told me I was basically out of luck. He had no empathy, no real emotion or connect or understanding, not a customer service bone in his body. Jesse on the other hand was very polite and cordial and as helpful as he could be. So now, I'm taking my car straight to Honda, paid Midas $700 to throw me to the wolves! I loved Midas, I've always had a good experience with them- but this time, it was in the likeness of being betrayed by someone you thought was a friend. Extremely disappointing experience at Midas Roseburg.

Since my tires are under warranty, I called Big O for direction and was told to call a local authorized dealer as the nearest Big O is 70 miles south. The authorized dealer refused to install one tire without putting on a full set since my car is AWD. There's no way I needed to replace all my tires. To get my tire installed and not void warranties or be required to unnecessarily purchase additional tires, we had to take my car to the location 70 miles away. Chad at the Roseburg location (store #037035) explained they'd need the CO store to order the tire and have it shipped to OR. I was assured all was handled and my tire would be in OR soon. This was not the case. After multiple calls I was informed by OR that it was out of their hands because the CO store had stopped answering their calls. It was suggested I try calling CO. When I spoke with store #006042 I was told they'd order the tire, but they badmouthed the OR store, claimed it wasn't CO's problem, and that OR was trying to double dip. On Wednesday, November 22 at 5pm I received a call that my tire was in. Thursday was Thanksgiving; I promised to be in asap on Friday. The OR store assured me no less than 4 times over the past month they'd get me right in and I'd be on my way after 30 min. They knew I was out of town, limping on a donut, had no appointment, and had been without a tire for 4 weeks. After 17 calls with the OR store, 5 with CO, and waiting 1-month I finally was getting my tire replaced. I showed up to the OR store on Friday ~10:45am. Staff grumbled that I asked for balance, rotation, and alignment. I had to wait two hours for my car to be serviced. I was given a printout of my alignment and told that the front was really messed up. When I asked for confirmation that it was fixed, I was told no, I could come back next week. I asked about my warranty and the person at the desk said it 'should' still be good. I said I needed a definitive answer. He sighed as he said he'd go check with the manager, and when he came back told me I needed to talk to CO and that they put on my tire without even charging me. I should be grateful! I am still flabbergasted that it took a month for me to get my tire after the stores put me in the middle and the atrocious service I received. I have called the customer service line 5 times as of writing this and am still waiting for a solution.
