This is an outstanding Jiffy Lube - they can do almost anything and they do it well and quickly. The employees are personable and will explain everything before and after service. I have never had a bad experience at this location on 41st St NW. Today the passenger side headlight was out on my ancient Nissan, and I read online what a pain it is to replace, some people saying it could take up to 45 minutes. I understand jiffy lube will try to up sell a person on almost everything, lights, filters etc. So it didn't surprise me that they found that two brake lights were out. They told me it would cost $16.99 per bulb plus labor. I said OK and then remembered all my lights on the vehicle were just checked less than 3 months ago. I went outside and watched them work on the vehicle and noticed all the lights working as they should. I asked a technician to show me what lights were out and needed to be changed. He couldn't. If I wouldn't have checked for myself, they would have charged me for work that wasn't needed. I will never go back or ever recommend anyone to go there. You can't trust them. read more

Jiffy lube coupon for $10 off they will only accept for full synthetic . They claim signature oil service is ONLY for fully synthetic oil which it completely untrue. See pic of column showing all the signature oil service levels. Being told an untruth is a problem. What other things are not going to be clear. I have jiffy lube oil changes in different states and places I've never been told such bs. Manager obviously in on this. Ok just say on door we don't accept coupons. I had my oil changed on my 2015 Infinity Qx80 a few weeks ago in preparation for a long trip to Canada during the oil change I was informed that my air filter should be changed and I gave them the ok to replace it. Shortly after they informed me didn't have any air filters that fit my truck in stock and we proceed with out it. Unfortunately my truck started having check engine issues at the MN boarder & when we opened the hood to investigate we discovered that my air filter cover wasn't fastened properly with only 2 out of the 6 clips on and the filter opening left cracked open about a 1/2". We refastened the clips and continued to limp our way into a dealership at closing time and unfortunately loss a days worth out travel. We found out from the dealer that the due to the air filter not being fastened properly that it had sucked debri on to an oxygen sensor which cause the vehicle to miss fire and cause additional error codes. (I mentioned that they might as well replace the air filter and I was told it didn't need to be replaced adding to my frustration.) $215.17 dollars and 15 hrs later we were back on the road.. Unfortunately something as simple as fastening an air cleaner cover properly was overlooked and cost me considerable stress and unnecessary time and money wasted. I left a message for the manager days ago regarding the issue with no response at this point. read more

Stopped in to get my tire pressure checked and came out with getting all my maintenance needs from this place. The guys were so welcoming, stopped in because my tire pressure light was on , they brought my car in right away and topped off all my tires, I asked if they do oil changes on GTRs they said they're a multi care shop and they do everything. Got quoted $96 for an oil change on my GTR while the dealer charges me over $250.since they're so affordable I asked if they can install my aftermarket exhaust on my car as well.Got a quote which was half the price of what everyone charges..these guys are so honest and they do amazing work. They dont overcharge like everyone does in the city of Rochester and they do good work .I got my oil change and my exhaust done on my GTR at a fraction price and not to mention they're extremely fast. Strong armed into the most expensive oil change because they "don't have" the weight I need right now. The manager did not seem to care I was unhappy. After sitting here for a half hour on my lunch break all ready I didn't really feel like I had a choice. Not coming back. Upsell. Upsell. Upsell. Despite having the word 'Jiffy' in it's named, don't expect to be in and out quickly. Having been here at least a half a dozen times, I'd estimate that I spent 35-45 minutes in the waiting room each and every time. Presumably they're spending that time exhaustively looking at for opportunities to sell you more products and drive up the price they've got advertised out front. No sir, I'll change my wiper blades myself. Nope, I'd rather not change my filters yet again. No, I don't want to flush my transmission while I'm here. They changed the oil in my 2015 Honda Civic. I did not know it needed synthetic oil but now it has it. They also changed my cabin filter and my air filter. All in less than a half hour. Great job. I'm not from Rochester or I would be going back. read more

On January 6, 2018 I took my car in for a standard oil change. The oil change was done in a quick manner, but of course they tried to sell me a new air filter and cabin air filter for my vehicle, I declined. I have been having trouble with my vehicle stalling out on me every since I took it to this Jiffy Lube. After a couple of weeks of me investigating possible issues (car is an older vehicle could have been multiple items) I finally found what was going on. The air flow hose that connects to the engine was not properly replaced after the employees here removed it to check the air filter, causing improper air flow to the engine. I replaced my air filter and connected the hose PROPERLY and now my car is working perfectly. I will never go back to this Jiffy Lube, if you can't put the pieces back together properly, don't touch the vehicle! read more

I chose Jiffy Lube because they do a ton of routine maintenance during the oil change. It is expensive, but as I am not much of a 'car guy' I'd like to just have all my car's fluids checked etc. in one stop. So... here's the problem. My 3rd oil change here I was aware previously that I had a left head-light out. When I walked back from lunch to pick up my car they told me all the fluids, light, etc. were checked and everything looked great. So, I informed the guy that I knew my left headlight was out and asked why they didn't note that if they checked my lights. He told me verbatim after looking down at a sheet of paper, "I have it noted here, I must just not have put it in the computer". I said, "Oh, great, well you understand my concern because how do I know all the fluids were checked and everything you said was done was actually done if I know a headlight is out and that wasn't caught". I then asked if I could see the sheet just to make sure they did notice, and he fumbled and said he could find it... what? Didn't you just look at it? So, basically he lied right to my face not expecting me to ask to see the sheet... The manager came out and 'assured' me that everything was checked, and offered to bring the car back in and I could watch... I was on my lunch break so I didn't have time and just paid the bill. Conclusion, it's hard to know if everything was checked thoroughly at any of these places. It is quite possible that just the oil was changed.. I suppose it's a risk you pay for convenience, but I expect more professionalism from a chain store like this. If the manager offered me an apology that it wasn't caught, and maybe threw in a discount on my next checkup I wouldn't be writing this review. Very troubling... I hope this helps. If you can check your own fluids etc, I would just do it yourself and not risk it. I may just learn how to do all of this, not to save money, but to make sure it's actually done. read more

Do not ever go to here!!!!!!!!! I am a young woman in my 20s and I brought my car here to get my oil changed and tires rotated. While sitting in the waiting area I noticed they never put my car up on the jack to rotate the tires. I didn't think anything of it, I assumed they would do it at some point. I walked over to Target and came back. It only took 15 min to get all the work I needed done. Unknown to me my boyfriend had put marks on my front tires to make sure they were being rotated. It was a snowy day out and on my way into my neighborhood I slid and hit the curb. My boyfriend then checked my tires and they were never rotated. I paid to have them rotated. These guys took advantage of me because I am girl and they assumed I know nothing about cars. When I confronted the store manager about this he said there was no way that they didn't rotate my tires that he was there and saw. I asked for a refund and he said no. I then had to call the corporate office just to get a refund for the tire rotation. They were rude and uncooperative. I would NEVER recommend this store to anyone. read more
