Did a good job on my 2022 Toyota Prius. Got there for my appointment, had everything pre-paid. Talked to the general manager he got me checked in. Waited for about an hour, granted they were busy and I wasn't in a rush. As soon as they got to my vehicle they zipped through it and had everything done including rebalancing of my new tires done in about 15 minutes. Before I say anything, anything at all about the tires at Discount Tires I want to tell you about the staff. Tires are tires you can get them anywhere but the quality of the service you get at South Rochester Discount Tires is so much better than anywhere else that I have gotten tires. I have public anxiety so some days I can leave my house some days I can't. I missed my appointment on Tuesday. I went up on Wednesday and I explained it to the gentleman. He made an appointment for early the next morning and he actually came out to my car. I did not ask him to do this. He came out to my car, made sure I was OK if I wanted to wait in my car if he could do anything to help me and I found that so enlightening. He actually cared about how I felt. He made sure that I was taken care of. He treated me like a queen and believe me I'm 53 years old I don't look like a queen . I appreciate that gentleman more than you can imagine. He did not have to go out of his way to help me and the tiny little things he did but those tiny little things made such a huge difference in my ability to not have a panic attack. Thank you Dan Now I can tell you about the tires. I have an older car so I didn't want to put the same top of the line tires on so I opted for the cheapest. MISTAKE. I was so used to driving with amazing tires I just couldn't stand the new cheap ones. Seriously I even called to see if there was something we could do different or if I bought the wrong tires. They have a 30 day replacement policy. I brought my car up I only had to pay the difference in the tire price nothing else. The tires I have on now are middle of the road but feel perfect driving. I normally do not write reviews but Dan needs to know he was appreciated and that policy rocks:-) Ps my Michelin defenders tires have an 80,000 mile lifetime I got over 100,000 miles. North location...theyre amazing!! Always so welcoming and accommodating, especially knowledgeable. Over the years they've saved me so much time and money. I'd just gotten a "fast lane" oil change from a local dealership (on the frontage road) one evening. I went straight home from there and parked my car in my driveway, never moved it until the next morning as I headed to work 3 miles away. I'd gotten 2 miles and pulled over to see a flat tire. Long story short, DT figured out that during my oil change, someone had to have topped off the air in my tire and the entire valve stem and censor completely off. The only reason the deflation took so long was due to the freezing temps the night before. I returned to that dealership and sternly suggested they fix it at no cost. read more

These guys are great. I scheduled an appointment and picked out tires online and stopped by at the scheduled time. The rep who checked me in was very friendly. After a snafu with my Discount Tire card, the rep worked diligently to get the problem fixed, and in the end, was successful. The tech who installed my tires was also extremely friendly. I was told that there would be roughly a 45 minute wait for the installation to be complete. I was out the door in 35 minutes. I drove away happy and am enjoying my smooth ride! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. We paid a ton of money for new tires not long ago. 55,000 mile warranty. No one said they had to be rotated every 5000 mikes or it invalidates the warranty. We had about 15000 miles on them. Because we didn't rotate every 5000 miles they made us pay for new tires. None of these "rules" are stated on the receipt. We got no other paperwork. We paid for 2 new tires. They said we invite you to come back and get them rotated every 5000 miles. Again nothing about it being mandatory for the warranty. It also took 30 minutes longer than they told us it would. I won't be back! read more

Discount tire was highly recommended to me; after looking online I had picked out my tires and scheduled my appointment the end of June. I dropped my car off the night before and picked up the afternoon my tires were completed. After I had paid my bill, I over looked my tires; they were gouged and completely scuffed up. My rims are flat black on an SE custom package for my car. The black coating was scratched off and deep gouges were left in the rim of the tire. After walking back into the store describing my dismay, the manager said that they'd make it right by taking my wheels to a resurface company to get the tires resurfaced/repaired. I've contacted two other establishments that install and mount - they've both recommended that I get the tires resurfaced. I contacted the resurface company to see if DTS has made any effort in making the repairs to my wheels- as of late August no contact was made. I'd love to post pictures of the damage caused; but I cannot. I will not be taking my car to any other Discount Tire, as this experience has left me still quite upset; even more so since nothing has been done to make it right after leaving the store. read more

I needed 4 new all weather tires for my Honda Civic. They recommended Michelin Defenders, which have been absolutely wonderful this winter. The person working applied a $75 off coupon for me, which I was very grateful for because I was unaware of the promotion and money was very tight at the time I had to have the work done. They were extremely friendly and service was prompt. My mom and I stopped by a sandwich shop to grab a bite to eat and by the time we were done they were finished putting on the new tires. well i didnt have a very good experience....i was in a jam and needed a tire for my boat trailer and knowing boat trailer tires shouldnt cost alot i was quoted $130!...i said oh ok for both?....he told me no...thats for 1!...well he said since your getting 2 i will give them to you for $110 a piece.....well then i got the 1 because i needed it fixed right away....well after looking online they did have $70 tires...he sold me the most expensive ones but what im mainly pissed about is quoteing me $130!....1 trailer tire!...well needless to say im just sticking with walmart as they have just as good tires and i wont get ripped off...oh i also emailed them and got no response!... read more
