This review is for the sales department, specifically Tom Betzen…read more Our first introduction to Tom Kadlec Honda was showing up 10 minutes after they closed on Memorial Day weekend; we didn't know they closed at 5pm :-/. Tom was kind enough to walk up to us right away, introduce himself and asked if he could help. He then showed us an example of the car we were interested in on the showroom floor for the next 30 minutes. He didn't rush us through all the details because we showed up late. He offered us his card to call and schedule a test drive at a convenient day and time for us. A few days went by and I contacted him, amazing! Most of the time the car salesmen would have called me several times by then. We scheduled a good day and time to meet up and he was waiting for us upon arrival ready to give us a test drive. He was very thorough and explained everything! He pointed out little things that I wouldn't have even of thought to ask and I appreciated him taking the time to do it! Unfortunately on the day of the test drive we weren't ready to buy and needed to wait at least a week. Tom just asked to keep him updated and let him know when we would like to purchase the vehicle. He never bothered me during that week's time until I reached out to him to give him more updates. I really appreciated him trusting us that we were interested but had a timeline that we felt comfortable with. He really respected our wishes and wanted us to be happy and comfortable at all times! When we decided to purchase the vehicle I really wanted a specific color but they didn't have it in stock. Tom told me not to worry about it, that they would make sure I got the color I wanted in a couple days time. Sure enough, they were able to have the car delivered in 2 days! One thing I ALWAYS appreciate is presentation, and from start to finish Tom made every effort to present Tom Kadlec Honda in the best light. When I went to pick up my car he had it washed on the outside and cleaned in the inside. After we bought the car he spent an hour walking us through all the features, setting my phone up with Bluetooth and apple car play. He answered ALL questions and never once rushed us out even though I think we were the last people in the building. Amazing customer service, above and beyond! I'm very happy with my purchase and love my new car! I would highly recommend Tom Betzen to all family and friends and plan to come to him again for future car purchases! He's not a typical car salesman; he genuinely wants to make your buying experience a pleasurable one were the buyer is well informed on all features, parts, and the vehicle itself.

The one thing I like about Automotive Procare is that they take pictures and send you information on exactly what was checked, what is looking wrong. It was nice to see that issues I brought up in the past at other auto shops weren't addressed, such as air filter issues. Here, they seem to access the whole car! They also provide a shuttle to get ya home as they work on your car, which is a plus for me. Following the full car assessment, I wish I got a call regarding the quote, rather I had to call in to get the quote as I waited for quite awhile. They did ask to keep my car overnight to look at it in the morning which I said yes too. I called in late afternoon the following day as I was concerned I didn't get a call back. Which they replied it's been good and ready all day. It would've been nice to get a call since I had to push back a lot of errands. Overall, I'm happy with the service. I can't say if I know the cost of my services was fair or not, but my car is in working order again!

They also give you a detailed report sent to you from your visit with pictures and recommendations. They are not going to push you into anything or try to upsell anything to you. They have a convenient shuttle system so they will drop you off and pick you up if you leave your car with them for the day. I called a couple of days ago asking about tire prices and the employee gave me a very thorough explanation of options. Given that my tire size is somewhat rare, he said he would give me a call the next day to see if he could come up with any additional tire options for me. He followed up the next day, with lots of information, great detailed explanations and his honest recommendations (based on my budget). Bottom line is be careful to bring your car for service at this auto shop in Rochester, MN because they will find a way to charge you more with their "complex but not straight upfront" as simple as engine oil service.
