The Good: Made good on the warranty on my Ever Start Platinum battery…read more Needs Improvement: I'd called and had spoken to someone(in the auto center) about the battery having tested low by an oil change place. I was told if they (Walmart) found it to be "bad", they'd replace it. I said, okay, I'll bring it in. Long story short -- they wouldn't / couldn't test it while it was still in the car without me making an appointment. (They aren't like AutoZone or O'Reilly's -- who will test it with a portable device.) ) They should have told me that on the phone call. Result was I wasted gas and my time showing up w/o an appointment. When I brought in just the battery a day later, it took an hour and a half for them to test and try to "restore" the battery. Bottom Line -- I have had good experiences dealing with Walmart on batteries that failed under warranty. (Like failing in the last 2 weeks over being under warranty!) Walmarts are everywhere, so it's easy to get warrany assistance everywhere. I'm displeased with the assistance from this Chubbuck Walmart but I'll continue to buy batteries from Walmart given that it's turned out okay in the end.

I was sitting in the tire lane and a lady walks up and I told her what had happened. She immediately checked my tires and was so incredibly friendly . She even looked under my vehicle to make sure nothing was leaking or that I didn't break anything . She did find a nail in one of my tires and carefully took it out . Luckily It didn't go all the way through . She caught it right in time before any further damage. I was so grateful for her help. I didn't get her name but she had blonde hair and was wearing a hat. My daughter had a blow-out on a Jack's snow tire at 4 am in the morning put on 3 days and 16 miles…read moreearlier at Jack's shop. Result was car body damage and destroyed tire. It could easily have been two dead college girls headed back to school in Utah. Cause was their failure to check the valve stem after changing which they had damaged and which they admitted is standard procedure. You might think this a fluke, but given my past experience this is clearly a pattern of negligence on their part. A month ago they put on my snow tires (already mounted on rims) and told me I was ready to go. I asked if they had checked tire pressure given the tires had been stored for 8 months... they had not. TWO of the tires had less than 15 pounds pressure and they were ready to send me out to have my own blow-out. Two years ago I had a front blowout on Michelin tires with 18,000 mile on them, going down a mountain grade in a pickup truck towing a heavy trailer at 75 mph. I survived barely; they refused to even warranty the tire blaming the cracked alloy rim as the problem. Others have suggested the crack was due to the resultant blowout. Bottom line, their shop is incompetent and negligent; they do not warranty their products, work or service. Oh yes, their response to the snow tire blowout was that they no longer carry that tire, will not warranty the tire and say they cannot confirm it was bought there because of a new updated computer system that only has one year of data! I have decided to get all the tires replaces at Costco where their procedures are very tight, and then seek damages through a legal route.... after all negligence is negligence, I don't think I have to prove who's tire it was since they did the mount, although I will also prove it is there tire. I bought nothing but Jack's tires for 3 years and for 4 vehicles. After the truck incident I changed and would not consider their Pocatello Idaho store again. Try a real tire dealer; you cannot do worse than Jacks Pocatello Location !
