Julie is personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. I'm just there for an oil change at jiffy lube and she put on a customer service clinic. The rest of the crew is honorable mention. They greet you as you arrive and get to work right away. An impressive experience that exceeded expectations. Well done! read more

Just an update, this has been going on for three months now, Jiffy Lube, improperly installed my rear brakes and then refused to warranty the service. I took it to another Jiffy Lube, and they said that the brakes were incorrectly installed, but they could not do the warranty work, so I had to pay them another $500 to replace the brakes that I'd already paid this location for. They refuse to warranty the work. They refuse to refund my money. Their employees are extremely rude. I am taking them to small claims court, and I will update when it is complete, and I have my money back. The owner claimed that he would "look into it" but offered no refund, no service, no follow-up. They love to reply to every single review to make it look like they do anything, but they literally do nothing and ignore you read more

Ben at the counter talked sooo fast and didn't leave time to ask any questions. Just state facts and point out negative and breeze over the positive. First time I was ever handed a battery test result receipt ever. Hopefully someone will see this and he will be told to speak slower...but he spoke slower for a pretty blonde who was picking up her vehicle. read more

Idiot light came on, tires low and needed air. They had a few customers ahead of me but in and out in 12minutes. Very gracious staff. A most pleasant experience. It had snowed overnight so I prayed that I didn't have to do this at a gas station by myself. Thanks guys, you were so helpful. Will recommend. read more

Polite , helpful staff...cashier Ben, explained everything to me, and I appreciate it. The person walked me in make sure I didn't fall and also moved my car where he wanted it and that was very helpful read more

Be careful when you ask customers to do a review.......Slow, sloppy, don't do what they are asked to do. High pressure up selling customer after customer. Criminally high mark up on any work done. Too bad. There have been times when the visit was 'okay', but those times are rare. And never 'good or great'. Which is what they should strive for. Apparently some customers appreciate the fast talking up selling and don't mind paying premium prices for work that might not be necessarily needed. Is that the business model? read more

After getting an oil change, driving the car around to run some errands, my husband had to go back to Jiffy Lube literally 2 hours after our oil change because when we checked the dip stick, the oil was low. They never topped off the oil in my car after the oil change. When we went back we verbally communicated that we were just here for an oil change, and they were trying to charge us for a 2nd oil change. Finally someone recognized that my husband was just in, and showed the mechanic our receipt and he finally topped off our oil. Super inconvenient to our day because we had to pick up our daughter from school which was 45mins away from the shop. What we thought would be a quick service turned into us having to drive back and forth to and from Jiffy Lube just to get our oil topped off, which should have been done during the service. read more

I have given this location positive review before but not this time. Went in for an oil change and check engine light diagnosis. I got the oil changed. They said the check engine light was bc all four cylinders were missing and it would cost around $500 for a tune up for coils and plugs. 10 minutes later after discussing w my husband on the phone the price was higher. I got a bad feeling so I didn't do the tune up. If all 4 cylinders were missing the car would have been running horribly but it wasn't. Two days later, I noticed oil on my driveway. I took it to the dealership and was informed that when the oil change was done the car wasn't put together right, it was missing a washer causing my oil to leak all over my driveway. And there were two missing cylinders not four. I got another oil change and tune up. Cost me $300. I can never go back to this place even tho it was so conveniently located. read more

My first time at this location has left me very satisfied. I have visited the Des Plaines location and Lincoln Park location, both times I have had to return to the shop because something wasn't completed correctly. The staff at this location were very friendly and kind. They explained services to me that I had no knowledge on incase I was interested. Will be returning! read more

Management knows what they are doing here! They should take the SOP's from whoever is running this Jiffy Lube, and implement it across all their locations. The staff was so friendly and glad to see me, extremely helpful in helping me understand what my car needed, had fast service and that facility was extremely clean! I wish every jiffy lube was like this one! read more

BAIT and SWITCH! i saw a $26 off coupon for an oil change, when i got to the Park Ridge location i told the person who took my keys i had a $26 coupon, he said take it up to the cashier, they took my car and again, when they showed me my air filter i showed them the coupon in my phone, they said we will look at that when you pay, when i paid they said they only have a $15 off coupon and they knew all about the $26 coupon and how i was at the wrong location. My husband and I love coming to this location! We've been coming here since 2019, and every time it has been a great interaction! Today was no different, we want to say a special THANK YOU to Rich who helped us today! We couldn't get the lever for the hood to work, Rich took his time and brought out different options, was finally able to open our car's hood. He offered helpful advice on how we could fix our hood lever. From the beginning Rich was professional, efficient and friendly! When Rich inspected our car, he informed us BOTH of our back license plate lights needed to be changed. Thanks for saving us from a potential ticket. At checkout, it was great!!! Smooth transaction with Javier!!! Javier was such a pleasure to talk to!! read more

Overall a positive experience, gone are the days of the pushy upsell and if it's just an oil change you want this is a good option. It's usually done fairly quickly and the service is friendly. Also a quick online search will usually save you about $10, just search Jiffy Lube coupons and download the code. I wouldn't get some of the extras though because the prices are a lot higher than if you just did it yourself. Cabin air filter for example will only take you about 5 minutes to change yourself and prices here are 4x higher than buying it at one of the big auto parts stores (for this specific item). As far as anything but just a simple oil change, I'd take your car to a certified mechanic that has actually gone through school to be a mechanic and not here (because here it is on the job training). read more

Brought in my car for an oil change and to replace my cabin filter. Oscar recommended a tire rotation. I asked him to let me know what the cost is of everything before we proceed and I told him that I had $26 coupon for the oil change. He called me up to the counter with a bill & told me he applied a $15 coupon because they can't honor the $26 coupon. And, somehow forgot to tell me the cost of everything before they proceeded. Very disappointed! read more

Don't go there for oil change you will end up driving with out antifreeze in your car because the employees are too busy to go over the check list. No wonder why the oil change is quick in this location. I was charged $85 dollars for regular oil change and filter change but no one ever checked my coolant level and it's was way under the line. My car end up stopping on the middle of the street do to negligence of this Jiffy Lube location. The manager wasn't really helpful in my situation saying that my coolant level was fine when it clearly wasn't!!!!!! Don't go there!!!! Save yourself from major mechanical problems!! read more

Total professionals. Quick and efficient. The staff is very courteous and extremely competent. Went for an oil change , and found out they do much more. Changed my tire and saved me time and money. Thanks again to Will and the whole crew! read more

I have to many oil change shops and multiple Jiffy Lubes and always drive the few extra miles to go to this location because it's well run and for years is always well staffed. The employees are a cut above others I've been to polite respectful and competent. I actually now use this location for everything I can for my cars batteries, brakes and tires it beats waiting 3 or more hours at Firestone. read more

Came to this location immediately after I had a bad experience at a different location nearby and they got the job done with no issue. The manager Oscar was there and swiftly stepped in to help after hearing about the poor interaction at the other location. Been there a few times for oil changes, all was well until my last visit for an oil change they did a horrible job. After a few days I noticed oil on my driveway and workplace then my oil low light comes on. They did not turn the filter tight enough. They could have completely damaged the engine if I did not catch it when I did. So I took it back and get it redone and all they can say I'm sorry. Not going back there again. Irresponsible or careless but definitely unacceptable. read more

I went in for an oil change and upon inspection I was told that my air filter needed to be replaced. They showed me an extremely dirty air filter and claimed that was my air filter. I asked them how much and I believe they said around $55. I said no thanks, I'll change my own. So, I went to o'rielleys and got a filter. Here's the kicker, when I went to change my filter, the paper part on my old filter was yellow and had an orange guard. The one they showed me at Jiffy Lube that was "my" filter had white paper and a black guard. Also, the one I had already had in my car didn't even need to be changed. They are scammers. They are showing you "your" dirty air filter to try and get you to buy one. They are showing you a fake one that isn't yours. They are using unfair business practices and violating the law. Everytime I have come to this location I have had a poor experience. However today tops the cake as to why I will never go back to Jiffy Lube EVER. If anyone reading this has money for a lawyer you should sue these criminal so read more

Came into this Jiffy Lube for a tire repair. We thought the tire was loosing air but after Jiffy Lube inspected the tire they realized it was the sencer not the tire. They washed the windows, checked all our fluids, every employee we had a interaction with was polite & professional. They even opened the door to the van to let me get back in and say Have a nice day and be careful out there. Not only did they do all this and get me out of there in 18 minutes, they did not charge me since the tire was fine & referred me to a tire shop that could fix the sencer. GREAT JOB . THIS LOCATION ROCKS. WE WILL BE BACK read more

This is just like any other Jiffy Lube. Ironically enough the best time to go here is right after work, between 5:00 and 6:00pm. Sometimes they do try a little too hard to upsell products and services (replace filters, do additional maintenance, etc.). A big plus for this place is they offer free wifi. So you can surf while you wait! read more

Took my work vehicle in for service, I informed them of the issues at hand ... oil change , brake light. Apparently 1 out of 2 is okay for them, I was pulled over for a brake light being out shortly after I left this place after the attendant stated he confirmed they replaced the light. This is completely unacceptable, while I know they offer free services as vacuum and clean the windows.... guess they failed at that too! I wasnt upset at first because I wanted the light changed but when failed at that the vac and windows thing made me completely upset. I will not take my car back to this shop. read more

Stay away at all costs. I had them give my car an oil change and they absolutely butchered it. I will attach the picture later. They took off my entire front oil guard on my brand new 2017 civic hatchback ex. When they went to reattach it post oil change, they did it so inadequately and incompetently that as I drove within 72 hours it fell off and nearly caused me to crash. They offered the most bare minimal compensation, or lackthereof. Please stay away at all costs. Honestly the walmart on touhy ave in skokie/village crossing does a better job. They just forget to reset your meter; at least that is something minimal and easy DIY. Please please stay away! read more

The staff went above and beyond to check my suspension system when I discussed my concerns with them to ensure the safety of my vehicle. The jiffy lube in park ridge impresses again. I had questioned a brake job since everybody is suffering labor shortages and after effects of the covid pandemic. Brought my receipt in, and the manager was out but rich and pedro came to pull my brakes off removed a pebble and reinstalled the new pads for free, within minutes. Prices are average but they usually take my coupon and these cats always get the job done, firestone never fits me in nor does the link on their website work for a quote. Jiffy lube always gives an honest answer and executes, that's 99% of the battle in business right there read more

5 star for exceptional customer service! I came here for oil change. As soon as I drove in, this lady was so precessional and explained me the process. I walked to the waiting area, it didn't feel like I was waiting that long but I could see how guys they were. They accepted my coupon with I didn't feel forced from any additional services offered. I recommend and would totally come back here. read more

Bunch of unprofessional staffs. Everytime I call, they say they can fix it. I was very specific about the problem. When I arrive, the mechanic says "no we can't do that." Either they're lazy or just ignorant people. They make up bunch of excuses not to do their job if it's time consuming. They want to earn their hourly wage with less customers and easy work. Don't waste your time coming here. read more

Clean, nice people and extremely professional! I have heard horror stories for jiffy lube hopefully it will be fine lol. Jiffy Lube - Auto Repair Near Me - Park Ridge, Illinois

There aren't enough stars in the universe to give to the team at this Park Ridge Jiffy Lube! I have been a loyal customer for years and continue to take my SUV there whenever it is need of an oil change. Now I like to think that I'm a smart, savvy woman and in most other aspects of my life, don't allow myself to be taken advantage of. However, I HATE (I'm using the word 'hate' here) dealing with my car! Typically I feel raked over the coals when the mechanic insists that I need a new 'Johnson rod' or some other item/service that will cost me more than next month's mortgage payment. Not so at this Jiffy Lube! Linda runs an extremely 'customer service friendly' shop and I am always treated with respect, never pressured to buy products or services if I don't want to and they will install smaller parts at no charge if I bring them in. During my most recent oil change, Linda told me to buy two flood lights somewhere else ("That will save you some money") and come back where they will install them at no cost. Fast forward to today when I rolled in during their busiest time and was greeted with a "No problem, I'll do it right now," from Anthony. Sure enough, Anthony crawled under the front of my truck and put in the new lights in in about five minutes. When I insisted that he take a few bucks for his time, he insisted that it wasn't necessary. What kid (I have no idea how old Anthony is but I'm probably old enough to be his mother) doesn't want a ten spot? He could not have been nicer saying that it was not problem and that he was happy that he could do it right then instead of having me wait an hour. So thank you Anthony for being so kind and restoring my faith in humanity today. Bravo to Linda for operating your store with integrity and hiring folks who practice exceptional customer service. read more
