Competent and trustworthy. After a lot of negative mechanic experiences over several decades I get highly anxious about having to get attention for any car issues. I've been coming here for oil changes, and occasional small needs such as a lightbulb swap out. Today I requested assistance with larger issues. This particular Jiffylube has proven they are capable of just about anything needed for a vehicle, and is willing to work with customers for plans to take care of needs, while explaining everything with kind and attentive service. They see their customers as whole people. They're respectful of time for those of us with little flexibility in our schedules. They're quick to provide honest communication. Part of their process is even looking for the least expensive part cost at local auto parts stores, before they offer a quote. I have been taking my 4 vehicles to the Olympia Jiffy Lube for the past 4 years and spent a significant amount of money for oil changes, brake bleeds, coolant flush, transmission fluid, etc. On 7/5/2026 I took one of my vehicles in for an oil change. They told me that my engine air filter was dirty and needed to be replaced or cleaned. I told her that I had just cleaned my K&N Lifetime filter 2 months (and 1,000 miles) earlier. Concerned why my engine air filter could have become dirty so soon I asked if she were certain it was dirty. Without double checking, she responded that she was sure. When my oil change was done I popped the hood and pulled out the engine air filter. It looked brand new with no signs of any dirt or debris. I showed the employee my clean filter. There was no apology. She was rude, defensive and argumentative. When I tried to confirm her name, she lied and told me that she was wearing someone else's shirt. The supervisor on duty confirmed her name on her shirt was correct. The new owner called me the next day. He apologized and said he would discuss the issue with his employee. He also said he would refund my oil change. A month has passed and I never received the credit the owner promised. My prior experience at this Jiffy Lube location was positive, but with the new management it is apparent that honesty is not their priority. Upselling customers whether they need it or not seems to be the priority. It is important to have trust with the people working on your car, trust that the work being recommended is truly needed and trust that the work is being done correctly by competent mechanics. Vehicles are a huge investment. We trust places like Jiffy Lube to be honest to avoid costly maintenance bills down the road. These guys probably saved my car (and a lot of my money). Long story short, my 2008 Toyota had an issue that could have totaled the car if not fixed asap. They were able to order the part and install it FAST. The repair was outside my budget since it happened the same day as rent (cars love having issues on the first of the month), but big shoutout to Quinton for making sure I qualified for a payment plan with a crazy low rate. Very kind, helpful, and are attentive to any potential problems. Went in for a oil change, but also an issue with a leaky tire. Turns out the thing got hit with a nail buried in it and were able to fix it right up, along with getting a new air filter in after they looked at it and I saw filthy it was. The only reason why I'm rating 4 instead of 5 is because I did have to bring my car back to be fixed! This is the nicest Jiffy Lube I have ever been to honestly. I struggle with a lot of social anxiety so I have hard time going into public or taking things to be serviced. This place was so nice to me and made me feel super comfortable. The manager Jeff takes accountability and seemed to do everything he could to try and help me with my problem :) even things I honestly don't think he had to do. I'm so used to going to car places and being screwed over I was scared they were going to do the same. But no they were nothing but kind and respectful! I went in for an AC diagnostic last August and they told me the Air Compressor was the problem. So I paid them to repair my AC issue. My AC started to stop blowing cold air and it's only been 6 months since they fixed my AC. I went back to them to diagnose and repair the problem because my AC didn't work, and they couldn't do it because they either don't have the mechanic or the diagnostic kit. They are very confusing when they explain stuff because 1 mechanic would say something different than the other one. They referred me to the Jiffy Lube in Tumwater, and when I called the Black Lake location if they are going to pay the diagnostic, and their team member "Franky" stated that AC warranty repair for their location is only good for 3 months or 3,000 miles. It was basically saying that my problem wasn't their problem anymore. Stay away from this location because they will give you the run around, wasting your time and hard earned money! read more

There are two jiffy lube locations within a mile(?) from each other but this one is far superior ! I have gotten oil changes at both locations. The staff at the Black Lake Blvd location are so friendly and helpful! They get you in and out very quickly, and are honest and up front. I attempted to find a location to take my work vehicle for service and Jiffy Lube is on the National contract so all Jiffy Lubes should accept the vehicle for service. Except this location on Cooper point and Black Lake. The young woman who came out to greet me looked like I had a green toad on my face when I told her I had a fleet vehicle with an ARI contract. She explained they wouldn't be able to help. Again very odd considering it's a Jiffy Lube and I picked this location because they had great reviews. After that I went to the Jiffy Lube closer to my home on Capitol in Tumwater and they were able to help me without issue and with fantastic service. Since that experience I take all of my cars to the Tumwater Jiffy Lube. I don't know if the young lady was just ignorant or if she just didn't want to help me because of the way I looked using my business vehicle, but I'm glad I found another shop who's been happy to keep my vehicle maintained. read more

I always go to this Jiffy Lube because all of the staff are friendly and attentive. They really go above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. The last time I was there as my emergency lights came on and they ran a diagnostic at no charge to me. Found out that I had left my gas cap somewhere. They immediately called their local provider and had the gas cap delivered to the business within 15 minutes and they installed it free of charge. They are wonderful people they have good attitudes and I feel that they give the best customer service of any place I've been. read more

They always inform me of what things on my vehicle needs to be updated and are never pushy with what things need to get done either when I am there or a later time. I will update this review once my problem has been addressed and solved. But so far nobody has contacted me back. This is a shared review for this location and the location on Cooper Point/Black Lake Bvld. location. I brought my car into the Harrison Avenue location on a Saturday morning for an oil change. I was told it would be approximately 20 minutes. Around 40 minutes the gentleman, Drake, let me know that whoever had done my oil change last put the oil filter on too tight and he was having a hard time getting it off. At that point I needed to go pick up my children and I let Drake know, he said he would try a couple more things but did not want to break it. A few minutes later he let me know he was unable to get it off and I left. As soon as I had the time I brought the car in to the Cooper Point location. Explained to them what have been said at the Harrison location, they told me it would be no problem and would have my car done soon. The young woman came in to let me know that they had broken my cap while getting it off, and not to worry they wouldn't charge me for it as she didn't have any way of ringing it up, but if I brought my car in the next day they would put the new cap on it. I brought my car into her the next day and she told me the cap would be $80. I told her no, she told me there would be no charge, and she explains that somebody above her vetoed that and there would be a charge. Then she told me that I brought the car in with the tabs broke it off and the cap broken. It did not come in broken. Drake at the first location specifically told me he did not want to break it so he wasn't going to try any harder. So basically each location is blaming the broken cap on each other. Now the situation I'm stuck with is they were completely unable to remove the cap at all, and unable to do the oil change because they had broken the cap. And now they are telling me I need to take the car to a mechanic or a dealership to have it repaired. I returned to the Harrison location and spoke with Drake. I explained to him the situation and he let me know that it was not in fact broken when I left his shop, which makes sense seeing as though he had told me that day he did not want to break it. I asked to be contacted by the district supervisor or corporate. He told me he entered it in the computer and I should have a phone call within a few days. It is now been seven days and I haven't heard from anybody. I'm hoping that Jiffy Lube will make this right. read more

Never ever again. I took my one-year-old car with less than 19k miles on it for a simple oil change. First, Jiffy Lube seems to go out of their way when it comes to performance art. I'm in the reception area. Young man walks in and calls my name. I get up and start to pull out my wallet. I'm told I don't pay yet but that he wanted to review my services. Like I told them, I wanted an oil change. No don't upsell me on anything. The car has less than 19k miles on it. I sit back down. He comes back a short while later and calls my name. I get up and start to pull out my wallet. Again, I'm told I don't pay yet. He reviews what they did. I sit back down. The third time he comes in I'm allowed to pay for my car, which was significantly higher than I was originally told. When I asked, I was told there were additional fees. Sheesh! Then I go out to my car and wonder WTF! My front passenger seat was fully reclined. When I asked why my front seat was fully reclined I was told that was how I had brought it in. Uh, no. It was upright. Shortly after I left, I noticed my console had been rifled through and not everything was there. Why was there a need to even open up my console for a simple oil change? Never ever again will I set foot in Jiffy Lube. read more

Fast, efficient, friendly, and extremely helpful. Installed a new filter and new wipers that I happened to have in the car already at no charge. And Lexi in particular is a gem. I came here based on their yelp ratings. I actually live closer to another location (which has much lower ratings) Prompt service! These guys are personable, professional and incredibly respectful! I was taken care of in a "jiffy" and am back on my way. In and out in about 30 minutes! I had some problems with resident mice under the hood (living in the woods will do that sort of thing to a car) and so Ryan and Dave went the extra mile to make sure that any extra unwanted material was cleaned out from around my filters and engine compartment. I called this location in regards to a full synthetic oil change for my Ford Edge. I was told $70. After they already had my car in their bay, oil draining the shift lead brings me to the counter to tell me the total would be $109.... huge difference than $70... she didn't seem to care and say starring at me, saying nothing waiting for me to realize at that point I had no choice.. instead of making a scene I told her they shouldn't give any prices over the phone when they are 50% more when you come in... poor customer service.
