Today was my first visit to this business and I was extremely impressed with the service. There were two women working (yay women mechanics!!) and a man who was super helpful, going above and beyond to show me how to use the computer system in my car. All three employees were incredibly professional and efficient. Service was perfect and fast. I'll be back and I'll recommend this place to my friends and family. I wish I'd gotten everyone's names so I could specifically tell them they're awesome. Doing subpar work is one thing like causing the spots of oil that leaked onto my garage floor the day after I took it into them. But then when I looked to see what they supposedly did on my car, I noticed it said the cabin filter was okay. I knew for a fact it needed to be replaced. Then I looked at all the fluid levels they said they checked. All low. They said they added Wiper fluid. It was nearly bone dry. They thought they had some dumb woman that knew nothing about cars. Think again! It was a good thing I decided to check out what they wrote down. I will never ever take my car into them again. Very dishonest! When I told the manager he should fire whoever was responsible, he just looked at me blankly. That told me everything I needed to know. I had to make an extra trip down there to deal with this shoddy service. And now I have to deal with trying to get reimbursed from Living Social. They offered me a free oil change. I have known her more than a decade and I totally trust her. She told me at length about her experience at this Jiffy Lube, and frankly it is even better than what she said here. I visited Jiffy Lube on State St. in Olympia yesterday (12-23-14) as I needed their free oil top off. While working on my car, John L. could not get a reading on my dipstick. After further investigation, he said there was a problem that Jiffy Lube was not equipped to fix. He asked if I would like a referral for a mechanic, which I accepted. I immediately went to the mechanic, who fixed the problem quickly. I wanted to thank John for trying his best to figure out the problem and then for recommending a great auto mechanic shop. read more

Although jiffy lube has not always been my favorite, this Jiffy Lube (across the street from Ralph's Thriftway) is by far the best! Every time the employee's here are always extremely knowledgeable, courteous, kind and they get me in and out fast! Today I went in to get something on my car looked at and fixed. I usually have a hard time understanding the automotive industry or understanding anything that has to do with a car is, but Jiffy Lube always ends up explaining everything to me and making sure that I'm not only happy, but I know what I am actually paying for or that I am not paying for something that I don't need. Tyler was very kind and helped me figure out what I needed. Going above and beyond, Keaton did a amazing job and performed all services like a pro. Thanks guys for always being great! read more

First of all, we paid $83 for an oil change that 3 LARGE puddles of oil in our driveway. I took my vehicle back to Jiffy Lub and tol them - they told me they got oil on the skid plate the day before. So they proceeded to pour 3 watering cans full of oil into the engine and it dripped out the bottom. During this time I heard one of the employees say I had low oil pressure. They changed the oil filter. But then insisted that no oil was leaking, it was just a spill after I asked about it. ( But why change the filter?) I got home, and again, more oil on the driveway. I called and they sent someone to my house to check the car and clean our driveway. Which was nice of them to do and surprising. After she got done cleaning the driveway, she handed me an oil filter and a quart of oil and said "In case it leaks again" and walked way. This seemed REALLY odd to me, as if I pay $83 for an oil change, I do not expect to have to redo myself, and also, she said in case it leaked AGAIN..... something the original girl at Jiffy Lube said didnt happen. My husband had to take the skid plate off and degrease it because it was covered in oil. I feel that they should have removed the skid plate themselves to clean it, instead of dumping water down onto it. This is definitely not what we paid for and we will never be using a Jiffy Lube again. This was just ridiculous. read more

Yes maybe this is alittle over priced and sometimes the service isn't the best. But the times I have gone I've had frat service. Very friendly workers and quick. Problem is they try and sell you other stuff so if you go here know what your car needs and don't buy anything extra. read more

They would get 0 stars if that was an option. The techs changed the oil in my car and knocked the window washer hose lose. Without knowing this I turned on my washer and within a few minutes my car was acting up. It was discovered that the hose had been knocked lose. We called and complained multiple times before someone finally responded. They sent their manager over to look at the car. I asked him if he was a certified mechanic and he stated no. I asked why then was he messing around under my hood and why with the seriousness of the situation did Jiffy Lube Corp not send an actual mechanic. The manager pointed out 2 screws that were lose and I said yes because a REAL mechanic was in the process of trying to fix the car. He said oh look, the hose is on the right not on the left where we would have been. I said no, it was hanging lose on the left side. he then tried to say the hose itself was leaking which it is not. The car is toast people! And I still owe a LOT on it. Save yourself some trouble and take your vehicle to a real mechanic for an oil change. These guys are NOT mechanics and should NOT be allowed to change oil or any other mechanical type thing. read more

A mechanic at this location ran my engine dry of oil. They incorrectly installed an oil filter. Upon speaking to the district manager I was promised a free oil change. Today I took my truck in for an oil change. I was told after the service that their grease system was broke and they could not grease the fittings. I feel the only reason they told me that is because I mentioned to them that they forgot the grease on the previous service. I feel if I had not mentioned that I would have left there without proper service and never known it. Then when I got my grease gun out to grease it, I decided to check the oil and it was way over full. I returned to them and they proceeded to tell me on that model of engine the dipstick is wrong and they only put in what their system says, I told the manger I have changed the oil many times, buying the 5qt container and it is always right at the full mark. I insisted they drain out a quart. Then to make sure I stopped by the Ford dealer asked the shop foreman about what I was told. In no way should that 4liter v6 be ran above the full mark. Bad, dishonest, business. I'll go back to doing it myself, I know it will be done correctly. read more

One stormy day as I drove down State my car starts feeling funky, and smelly. Well it was burning up. I, coincidentally, happened to be pulling up near Ralph's and Jiffy Lube was to my right. I stopped in to ask what the hell was going on with my car, I am a woman and know nothing about cars.... So I pulled up and this girl helped out and got some other dude to take a look at my car and was SUPER HELPFUL! The girl and the dude were so nice to me, it was astonishing. So it turned out my radiator has a crack and is leaking some fluid that should keep my car cool. The nice gentleman filled up my car with the fluid for free! And even took the time to show me where the radiator was cracked. Great customer service, they went above and beyond! This place is extremely overpriced I went in to get a standard oil change and they said because I needed a synthetic blend it would be $60. Outside they advertise $30 oil changes but that must not include any vehicles that were manufactured after 1990. Do yourself a fave and go the Firestone a block north and get the same service for $20. read more

Where to begin. I pulled my truck in line and parked it because everyone was busy. My boyfriend and I went to the lobby to wait for a representative. We waited about 10 minutes, I was surprised by the wait time, but you know, things get busy so i didn't mind that much. Next thing I know, a canary yellow gmc truck is being pulled into the shop. I said "Wow! Look someone else has a truck just like mine?!" My boyfriend replies "Ha! Thats your truck!" "No it's not, i have my keys right here." We sit back and admire the syncronicity. Then I notice the sticker on the back window, it was indeed my truck! They had moved it without talking to me AND WITHOUT MY KEYS. I immediately went outside and said "excuse me, how did you move this truck without my keys?" The representative was already underneath my truck doing something (i don't know what considering I had not spoken with them about what service I wanted) and he replied "I know how to turn on this truck without the key." I said "That's messed up." I went back inside and told my boyfriend I wanted to leave because that creeped me out. Another rep came inside and started checking me in (NOTE: THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAD SPOKEN TO SOMEONE ABOUT A SERVICE.) I told him I was going to take my truck somewhere else but thank you for your time. He looked confused and asked if there was anything he could clarify about the service, because "they had already started." I said "Start what? I haven't even talked to anyone yet." He said they had started the initial inspection that they do before they do an oil change ect. I felt cornered at that point. I didn't want them to get offended and mess with my truck so I went with it. Then they go through the whole upsale schpeel. I somehow ended up paying nearly 60 for an oil change because I was confused about the services, they basically made it sound like if i got the 30 oil change my truck would break. Finally after the service was complete, which took about 40 minutes, My boyfriend and I drive to Portland. As soon as we get to town boom, smoke is coming out of my exhaust and my engine stops turning, luckily i was right next to a parking lot so i turn in. I called the Jiffy Lube and told them I was broken down. I was positive it had something to do with the service I had received from them nearly 3 hours prior. My truck was running great before that. He says i'll have to call back in the morning to speak with the district manager. I called a friend and stayed in Portland that night. The next morning the district manager sends a Portland Jiffy Lube rep to inspect my vehicle. She looks underneath the truck and at my receipt and says I didn't have an oil leak prior to the service but now i have a major one, also there seemed to be coolant in my engine, which meant I had blown a gasket, she said "Looks like they're gonna have to replace your engine." She called the district manager standing right next to me and told him it looked like a faulty oil change. THEN (couldn't believe this) he calls me and says "Just got a call back from the rep, she said this incident has nothing to do with the service you received." I said "woah what? that's not what she said, I was standing right by her while she was talking to you! What I heard her say was...... " Then he says he'd have my truck towed to a Goodyear and inspected by someone else (even though someone just inspected it?!?) At this point i've been in this parking lot all day waiting for this process to ensue. My car is towed to a shop, the shop says they can't look at it til the morning, which means i'll be in Portland ANOTHER night. I couldn't stay because I had work the next day, so we rented a car and drove back to Olympia. Good thing we did because the truck is STILL in that shop a week later. The district manager called me and said they would cover the cost of the tow and inspection but not replace the engine. Head gasket repair is about 1600. I'm a waitress, I don't have that kind of money. So now I have NO truck. That truck was everything to me. I loved that truck. Im still in conversation with the corporate office, attorney general, and better business bureau trying to negotiate the repairs. I drove down to Portland Friday to speak with the shop and figure out what to do with my truck, when i'm nearly to Portland I get a call from the corporate office saying they need to send ANOTHER person to inspect the vehicle on Monday (A THIRD TIME) so it needs to stay in the shop. Well great, I had just drove to Portland for no reason. My mechanic always warned me never to go to Jiffy Lube, I learned my lesson. It's been a nightmare. As i'm talking to people about my experience, I'm hearing other peoples horror stories about jiffy lube, i had no idea. Who knows maybe they'll end up redeeming themselves and paying for the repair but somehow I doubt it. read more
