    Missing wheel lock

    DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ROBBED!!!! Took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation, techs never put my wheel locks back on. 2 of the 4 are missing. Called the store to ask for them back, was told they did not have them. 0 out of 10 stars - Not only did I pay for an overpriced service, but will have to buy a new set of wheel locks - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

    I recently visited Jiffy Lube to take care of some preventive maintenance for my Audi, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. At another location, it was already a challenge to get clear information on what type of antifreeze they were using in my car. I explicitly informed the attendant that my Audi requires OEM-approved G12, G12++, or G13 coolant. The attendant, however, claimed they used an in-house "universal" product that supposedly meets or exceeds the standard. Still uneasy about this, I called back later for clarification. The employee on the phone treated my inquiry as though it were an inconvenience. After some reluctance and noticeable attitude, they disclosed that the product was called "Trinity." This lack of transparency immediately raised red flags for me. When I reached out to this specific Jiffy Lube location for confirmation, my call went unanswered. As the attached photo demonstrates, my phone was ringing endlessly. Frustrated, I decided to drive to the location, only to find five employees standing around chatting while another was buried in the engine of another car. Given there were no other customers in sight and the lack of working with a purpose, it's safe to assume this was a personal car, given how extremely fast the other location was flying lightning fast changing fluids, which raised another flag on if the job was done period. This made it clear they were not busy, which explained the unanswered call. When I inquired about the "Trinity" coolant, the young man who spoke to me was completely unaware of it, and no one else had any useful input either. It was evident to me that the staff at both locations on Oceanside Blvd lacked both knowledge and training in this area. At this point, I chose to leave before my frustration escalated further. Now, for my peace of mind, I have to take my car to a reputable shop or, worse, the Audi dealership in Carlsbad, which will undoubtedly cost me significantly more. This situation leaves me questioning Jiffy Lube's standards and the competence of its employees. Are they merely trained to drain and fill fluids without any deeper understanding of the specific requirements for certain vehicles? Who is responsible for ensuring proper training? Where are the audits? As a customer, I felt disregarded, and the lack of professionalism and care from the Jiffy Lube staff at two locations has completely eroded my confidence in Jiffy Lube businesses everywhere as this level of service is unacceptable and reflects poorly on this brand. It felt like people who want the job, but once they got it, they don't want to do the real work they're paid to do.

    Let me just lead by saying, Mike at All American Auto Care saved me $150…read morewith just a couple e-Mails!!! Now, I have your attention, here's the rest of the story. I have a 2010 Mini Cooper (R56) Hatchback. For a while, the Check Engine icon has been lit up on the dash. Initialy, the dealership said it needed a new O2 Sensor & quoted about $700 to replace. The car was a bit slugish but, if I kept the revs up, it was fine. Over time, I noticed the engine had a harder time cranking over to start. Finaly, one day, my Cooper wouldn't start. I got a jump & decided to disable the Running Lights, radio, AC, & lights to come on when I unlock the car. Running the car in this mode turned the Check Engine icon off. I figured I should replace the battery on the car & called the dealer to replace the battery. They quoted $360 ($220 for the OEM replacement battery & 1.5 hours of labor) including reprogramming the ECM in the car. This is where a Man like Mike (the mechanic) comes in. Mike knew, the dealer was not being completely honest. By installing a different battery, I was able to avoid the so called reprogramming fee, (which is an urban legend) which saved me money!!! This is the benefit of having a mechanic like Mike who knows fact from fiction in the automotive world. NOTE: Don't always trust what the dealer says!!! Instead, trust Mike at All American Auto Care in Murrieta! Let me know how much money he saves you?

The Call Center misled me into thinking they were at the store and they are NOT! Your Call Center should be more transparent about this. This is a MAJOR ISSUE. Your Call Center assured me that they "will get me in and out" with brakes, an oil change, and four new tires at 4 pm, and to "come right in", and "I have a 4 pm appt for you". LIES!! I walked into the store and they were slammed.. Simón said that there was no 4 pm appt for me, but he would take good care of me anyways. I raised my voice at him, "I just talked to you!" "You said 'in & out'". He calmly said he did not talk to me, but will take good care of me. I calmed myself. I was so angry. He said he would NEVER make a 4 pm appt for someone who needed brakes, 4 tires, and an oil change, when they close at 5 pm. It all made perfect sense. Simón offered to get my tires and oil change started, but offered to inspect my car to see if I even needed brakes. I agreed. It turned out my back brakes were at 6 mm and my fronts were 4 mm, so I still had time to change them. They squeezed me in even though they had cars they were trying to get out of the shop. EXCELLENT management by these guys to fix the predicament their "Call Center" had suckered me into. Evan's Tire & Service in Lemon Grove is a super place with super employees! They gave me a great price, and I was out of there at 5 pm. You need to fix your Call Center though- these stores are welcoming angry customers like me, because they are being lied to. Good job Simón & crew! I owe you one. The Call Center review would be 0 stars.
