Maliq confirmed I was there for an oil change. Erick was friendly and started the process of getting me serviced. Connor, who is now the manager, talked to me and suggested which type of oil to get. He also was very nice and friendly. When the job was finished and it was time to pay, there was an issue with the communication as to what type of oil I had chosen. Connor never questioned it and made it right so that I as a customer was satisfied and I really appreciated that. I will continue to come here and it's refreshing to find that the service even after a year's time is still excellent. Thank you Valvoline!

I brought my car to have the thermostat replaced and was quoted the astronomical price of $3600 because they attempt to add on every single thing that could possibly be done to the car at once. I took it to Diaz Complete Auto Care on Harlem, and Rick was incredibly helpful from the start. He offered to test the vehicle at no extra charge to ensure the starter was the problem. I had the car towed to him right away, and he went above and beyond--filling the tires with air and checking all the oils without me even asking. Given some of the prior reviews, I was initially skeptical (and even joked with him about it), but my experience was excellent. The work on my car was done professionally, and I couldn't be happier. It's hard to find mechanics you can truly trust, but I'm glad I found one here. On a whim one day I stopped in to see if I could get a oil change and tire rotation while I took the kids next door for a haircut. Not only did they get the car in, the waited until I returned to take me to our car and show me the brake pads and rotors indicating that they will need to be done within 5k miles. There was no hard sell. Just an FYI. I've since been back for new tires, a tweak on body bushings, and this past week AC recharge along with another oil change and tire rotation. I cannot say enough positive things about the staff. They aren't offended when I do my own brakes, oil changes or tire rotations. As it sits now due to a major injury to my leg ive been unable to do any of that on my own. And they don't hose me on the work. I'm Happy to have found a shop and mechanics I can trust.
