I got a oil change and then my oil pressure gauge stopped working... I mentioned it to the "tech" and he said "it's a old vehicle gauges go out." I stated that " This old vehicle has never had this problem until I showed up." Then now doing my next oil change because I didn't like their service I noticed the issue was one of the "mechanics" unplugged my sensors and never plugged them back in. Her friend was there when she told them not to put in synthetic but they did and charged her $129.99. When i called them on it the manager gave me the usual line of having checked twice. As a college student, I was in need of an oil change today. I decided to drive to the closest place which just so happened to be Jiffy Lube. Long story short I was charged DOUBLE than what it should normally be for an oil change. $200 (including a $30 discount, the running total was $230). To say the least I am extremely disappointed, I even asked numerous questions but felt like it was assumed I wasn't sure what I was talking about. Terrible customer service, and complete negligence in work. This location nearly ruined my new car by cross threading the original plug and then over tightening the next larger size up in its place. This created a pile of metal shavings inside my oil pan and cracked the pan all in the same amateur move. It could've ruined my engine, and I lost over a quart of oil within 24 hour. Had to get the whole oil pan replaced at the dealership. Bill for $475. They have not responded to my request for a refund of service and a reimbursement for the dealership bill. I elected to stay in my car during the oil change. I am immunocompromised and avoid unnecessary contact with people whenever possible. The gentleman who helped me was not wearing a mask, and despite my asking him politely to please keep his distance, he approached me multiple times (coming right up to the car window, less than 2 feet away). I had to ask him to stay back repeatedly, and it was as though he didn't hear me. I felt extremely uncomfortable, and will not go back. read more

REALLY high pressure sales on things your car doesn't need. Their prices never match the advertisements outside. And if you find a $10 coupon on Jiffy's website, they will only discount you $2 claiming their system already has somehow magically given you a discount you didn't even know about. Oh yeah, and good luck with a tranny service. My car Dodge is 10 years old and after messing around with it, they dumped fluid all over and then claimed their machine didn't have a fitting to match my car. Really??? I went in for an oil change and then was told that I had big chunks missing from all of my tires and they needed to be replaced. Some areas on the tire were down to the wire blah blah blah! After driving over to Les Schwab and had there take a look at them. All tires have plenty of tread no need to replace. All I can say is really questions what they recommend!!!!! read more

NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION. I was so disappointed with the quality of work and the way this Jiffy was run. Only looking at my car for mere mins they concluded that my brakes were faulty, transmission was shot, air filters wasted, etc. After leaving (and without purchasing) I received a phone call notifying me that they had rushed and my air filter was still in their shop and I would need to return to have it put back in. I followed up this encounter by going to a different auto shop in town where they confirmed that the terrible diagnostic was false and my car was in no need of repair, that they were simply trying to up-sell. I went back in the business after they were done with the oil change and spoke with the employee and his manager. His manager was very apologetic, initially the employee attempted to defend himself then chose to apologize and offer coupons. We left the coupons as we intend to never go here again. read more

All the guys were super nice and courteous and they did a very thorough job at making sure the oil was topped off, floor was vacuumed, caps were secure, and tire pressure inflated properly! I had a great experience and will definitely be back again! Adding my own oil additive was no problem. I have never experienced such negligence and laziness. Please do yourself a favor, and DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLES SERVICED HERE. Sadly I have given this shop more chances than it deserves. I made a visit yesterday for a routine oil change. They did not up-charge me like they usually try to, which was a nice change. I'm assuming it was very slow, as there were several (I'm going to estimate 3 or 4) employees standing around my car, hands on heir hips, watching another employee service my vehicle. As the maintenance comes to an end, I hear loud revving from MY car. An employee in the drivers seat is revving my car so loud I could hear it through the glass wall of the waiting room. I don't know if that's a common occurrence when completing an oil change, but in all of my years of owning vehicles, that was a first for me. This morning I start my car and a notification prompts me to check my tire pressure, which is not uncommon. However, it starts to smell like burning oil. I figure the employee who completed the change accidentally spilled some oil and it would burn off on my commute to work. Well, once I arrive to my workplace, I turn off my vehicle to make the notification mentioned above cleared from my vehicle. I start it again and my car was REEKING of oil. I will be taking it to another shop to see what they failed to do correctly the FIRST time around. I knew I shouldn't have gone to this shop, but I will make an effort to take my business elsewhere from now on. A couple other things: Not sure why I was asked if I wanted to rotate my tires on my non-rotatable vehicle. Way to further prove that you don't know what you guys are doing. The young lady who checked me in said that my oil level was very low, which is just plain and simple bullshit. I put 2 quarts in my vehicle less than 3 weeks ago. The only reason I came in was because I KNOW my vehicle needed an oil change. I am blown away by how inadvertent the employees are at this shop. read more

Two separate cars and customers on or about September 12, 2021 my wife in her 2010 Nissan Murano and my Sister-in-Law in her 2005 Honda Civic went in for a simple oil change and were scammed into costly additional work that was totally unnecessary! My Sister -in -Law was deceived into paying more than $359. when all she needed (and asked for) was an oil change. They told her she needed new spark plugs, and new battery and that she also needed her brakes bled and adjusted. She was visiting us from her home in San Francisco and had a Honda dealership there check and prepare her car fore the trip here. Nothing was wrong with her spark plugs or her battery (less than a year old) and the spark plugs were fine. She trusted Jiffy Lube to know her car and what was required but instead they acted like thieves and robbed her! During her return trip home she encountered braking problems and had them checked to fined that instead of bleeding the air out of the system they actually allowed air in. My wife took her Nissan Murano in for an oil change and they told her she needed a new battery because they had to jump start her car. I advised her to have them leave the car running once it stated and drive it home. She has been starting and operating the car just fine since 9/12/2021 and the battery is in great shape. However, while driving for the last three weeks she has smelled burring oil and today took it to a different lube shop and they found the Oil Pan Plug loose and leaking and her Dip Stick laying on top of the engine. The other shop fixed the problems and replace a quart oil oil t6hat had leaked out. Jiffy Lube Newberg is a shady place with people who take advantage of people who trust them. They are cooked and unscrupulous! The worst oil change shop I have ever experienced....some of them should be in jail! read more

I spent a lot of money at the Newberg location in hopes refresh the running gear. Couple days later when changing my suspension I notice a leak from the oil filter. Later see they never replaced the filter but charged me as if they did. I then checked all my fluids to find them dirty.. I came in on April 14th for an oil change in my wife's car. We noticed that there was oil leaking on our garage floor caused by a crack in the oil pan that came from the work they did. They had one of there other stores in there franchise try to fix it with putting a new oil pan on my wife's car. It started leaking more after there replacement of the oil pan. It ended up at the Dealership and the bill came to almost $800 to fix it. They had stripped out 3 of the bolts that hold the oil pan in place. If I could give this location and this franchise a lower mark then 1 star I would for sure. I would stay away from this location at all cost. read more

Besides the fact that they try to scam you on needing repairs on your vehicle that you don't really need, they straight up lied to me by offering to fix a chip in my windshield saying it would be free if I had insurance (which I do).
