3/24 Stanwood location won't provide me with conventional oil, even though I had gotten it from them before. I have relied on them a lot in the past and never been treated this way. Previously they told my sister that they don't even carry it and she would have to buy the oil and they would fill it for the same price as synthetic. I just came by and their excuse was that my warranty would be voided if I did so. I was never told by my dealership that was so. I have a 2020 Kona and it can take conventional oil. I can't help but feel they are scam artists. This seems to be a new thing they are doing and have already lost my sister as a customer. It isn't Jiffy lube's job to worry about such things. I think they are just trying to fulfill a quota. read more

Unfortunately, I had one of the worst service visits I've experienced at a JL store, today. And the part that was the most frustrating, was that there seemed to be clear understanding & acknowledgment of the mistakes/issues, but no comment or clarification made. While in line, after arriving, I was asked to change lanes due to some issue in the bay in front of me, some visit running into slowdowns, etc. perfectly understandable. After dutifully obliging, along with the car in front me, the issue in the original bay got cleared- while an issue was developing in the bay now currently in front of me. In the meantime, a host of cars had arrived behind us- and filling in the line behind the original bay. Instead of making a similar request of the cars behind us, directing us back to the previous lane, the techs called up the cars behind to fill in- now in front of us. By the time we were called into the bay, and finished with my oil change, multiple cars from behind me had been serviced & finished. Adding in an additional almost 10 minutes waiting for the tech to run my card for the visit, after I'd been directed to leave the bay, 4 cars from behind had been completely serviced & finished. Based on the demeanor & behavior of the techs, they seemed very aware of the mistake and unintended outcome of the reordering. A simple acknowledgment, or apology for the treatment- let alone something like a discount on service- would have gone a long way. Sadly, I was left with the distinct impression of lack of courtesy & professionalism. read more

I love that you can just stay in your car while they do your oil change , check your tires , and put new windshield wiper blades on. Staff was not friendly at all.. not one person was wearing a masks. Didn't get a greeting .. or a thank you at the end. Terrible customer service. Very basic oil change .. normally they check lights/air filter.. show you that you're topped off with oil.. nothing. Won't be back there. THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD AT A "JIFFY LUBE". I would recommend going ANYWHERE & EVERYWHERE else! They "CROSS THREADED" my oil pan plug when they service my 2015 F350 Diesel. Amazing a simple thing as in reinstalling a plug gets messed up! WOW!!!!! There Bellingham location caught them and told me about it when I had the next oil change done in Bellingham. (BELLINGHAM IS A GREAT JIFFY lUBE LOCATION - Bakerview Road) When I called down to the Mount Vernon Jiffy Lube, they agreed to pay for it and asked me to take it to their mechanic. I told them I only have my F350 worked on at dealerships for anything greater than oil changes because there is a lot more experience at dealerships with specific vehicles. The management agreed to cover the cost after I told them what it would be. They told me to bring them the receipt when the work was done. I had the work done and brought them the receipt. Five to six months later, no payment, no communication, and they don't answer the phone when I call. The one time they did answer it, the manager hung up on me as soon as I asked him if he had a couple of minutes to talk. Terrible management, terrible workmanship, and terrible communication. I have now filed a complaint with the Jiffy Lube Corporate and will be filing a Small Claims Lawsuit shortly if I don't receive payment. They owe me a little under $600.00 for their mess-up as that is the receipt I have from Bellingham Ford. For others looking for a safe place to go, that stands behind their work... ANYWHERE ELSE! Great customer service from the minute you arrive and they'll get you in and out quickly just like the name implies. Beau the GM was very helpful in answering my questions before coming in, and put me at ease with really caring about my vehicle. Came in for oil change and headlight replacement for my Subaru. They didn't catch that the headlight was out so I had to tell them. Then, after the oil change, they didn't correctly reconnect the battery after disconnecting to work on headlight and car wouldn't start. Then I get home and find the headlight was loose and had to come back. Then I found they had used the wrong housing for the light and had to order one from a different shop. $100 and 2.5 hours later and I'm still sitting here... waiting... on my birthday... for a headlight that I have replaced myself several times. Wish I'd never mentioned the headlight being out. They were friendly and polite about the screw ups, but this is ridiculous. Update: they sorted out that the headlight they stock isn't compatible with the headlight in my Subaru for some odd reason, even tho the part numbers are the same. Manager refunded the headlight and I drove out with one working light. The part number thing isn't their fault, but why was I the one to notice the problem(s) (battery cable loose, headlight loose) in the first place? They need better qa/qc to make sure the customer isn't the one finding problems on the drive home. Upgraded to 2 stars, because I'm feeling generous on my birthday. read more

I have been coming here for a while and I'm never fully satisfied with the oil change, the dudes there are nice but they never fill up my oil tank enough I always have to check it after I leave. I started checking the oil level after I leave because before I leave they always say recommend I come back for a top off in between visits? I decided to stop going because I would always have super low oil and today trying to change my oil one of the rookies who did my oil last time put some sort of adhesive around the drain bolt and closed it as tight as he could it's basically welded shut now and I have to take my car to the dealership to see if they can do it. Don't recommend going here especially as a female by yourself. They always try to tell me I have water in my engine too and offer me the engine flush package but when I take it to the dealer they say they have no idea why they would say that. I'm very impressed at the personal service and caring.. as bending over backwards to help their customers is not rare. I was very humbled when Albert took up the charge to help me with a suspected severe Transmission leak just weeks after service. Concluded with a faulty speed sensor and nothing at all to do with the service rendered... in fact, they do great work with the equipment and processes availed to them. read more

Bait and Switch! I was told that two front tires for a Honda Civic would be $160 + tax. I very specifically asked if it was all inclusive and I got a "yes". Upon checkout the total was $300 with $20 in tax. I'm tired of Jiffy Lube ripping me off. I hope this serves as a warning to other customers. read more

Went in for an oil change, well overdue. Danny was extremely nice and made me feel like less of an idiot for coming in so overdue for a change. He and his team were quick to do the work, did not try to upsell me on a bunch of service that were unnecessary. They did check fluids and did one was low so they changed that (with my consent). Best customer service ever! I went in a few days ago to have my oil and wipers changed and it was the typical experience for Jiffy Lube. The technician recommended the products that he felt would be best for my truck but I was the one with the final say. Earlier this morning I was out running errands when one of the wipers came unhinged. So I decided to go back in as my husband wouldn't be home until late that evening and I had a bunch of other things to do. As soon as I was parked Juan came out and asked how he could help me today and I explained the situation. He fixed my wipers at no cost to me and even refused when I offered to pay for any difference in the cost.
