I would give 0 stars if that were possible! Workers are incompetent telling my son he didn't need an oil change, but that his check engine light was on so he needed maintenance. It wasn't...it was just the oil change light that was on. Told my daughter they needed to order an oil filter for her car...it's a Hyundai Sonata which has a very common/standard oil filter. And then telling us they aren't taking cars when we show up to our SCHEDULED appt because they need to take lunch. No call to tell us. My experience today was upsetting. The attendant pulled my car in then asked me what kind of oil. I said whatever is recommended by Ford. There was a back and forth about what he did not know- I suggested he look at the previous sticker and the paperwork in the glove box. He did not want me to walk four steps into the bay to get the paperwork. After another back and forth I was getting frustrated. I got the paperwork and showed him. But it was a ford number- he again did not know. He suggested it was Full synthetic - I said ok do that. But he didn't know or look up the number, so I looked it up. I had to go find him to change it because the number was for a blend. (A Simple thing, what kind of oil and now I'm agitated ) If it's your company policy to keep customers out of bay area fine, take a second and get the info you need before you pull my car inside. read more

I am writing this as I sit in the Jiffy Lube waiting room. I have been here now for 1hr 15min and counting with ZERO communication from the staff except when I have approached them to ask a question. I have watched a total of 3 people arrive AFTER me, finish & drive away. The workers have come in & held conversations with every other person here about their vehicle except me, and while they have been polite when I ask about my car their response has been "sometimes it can take a little while". Or "it should only be another 15-20min", "did you need to be somewhere?" (Yes! I need to get back to work!), and finally I was given some explanation about some cars needing to drain longer than others (?!?). At this point it seems clear that they have parked my car in the third bay & forgotten about it , meanwhile I'm being held hostage and they continue to dismiss me. I've watched thru the window & no one has touched my car until about the 4th or 5th time I asked about it (now nearing the 1 1/2 hour mark) then suddenly there are people looking at it. One man arrived after me & after watching them interact with me said "I'm going to leave, I don't have time for this!" I am honestly not one to write reviews, but the experience I just had at this location was unacceptable and irritating. I should have known better since I've had a couple of off putting experiences at this location prior to this! I've been bringing my German engineered cars to Jiffy Lube since I could drive. I went to this location to get my oil changed yesterday and was turned away because they didn't have my oil filter in stock. They offered me an appointment for the next day (today) and i was told they would order the filter to be here this morning when I arrived for my appointment at 10 AM. When I arrived, my oil filter was never delivered or ordered and they claimed that I did not have an appointment so it would be an hour long wait ,But yet they didn't have my filter? I will be going to other locations from now on. read more

I always put off doing things like getting my oil changed because it always feels like such a hassle - not to mention that I always feel like everyone tries to upsell me, which is frustrating. I am so happy to say that was absolutely NOT the case when I dropped into Jiffy Lube this afternoon for a standard synthetic oil change. It was fast, reasonably priced, and the guys working there were great. Dalton specifically went above and beyond to help address another issue I've had with my car for the last few years - he was so helpful and so sweet in explaining the issue and providing some possible solutions. I don't know who the owner is of this place or if they're even aware of what goes on at their business. If the owner was actually there, even worse! I called ahead to see how busy they were and I was told to come around 2:00 p.m.. I showed up at 2:00 no one was there except for three Stoner dudes. I drove up, and the guy was like " whoa dude, what do you need" He told me to walk around the building and go in the office and he would take my car and Pull It in. I walked in the office no one was there and I waited several minutes while three guys talked in the service area. I poked my head out and said hey is someone supposed to be in here? One of them said I'll be right in. When he finally came in he's told me that I would have to wait 45 minutes to an hour just to find out if they had gotten a filter that would work. And one of the guys drove off in his car. I asked him if they've ever heard of a telephone. He said yeah but they don't answer their phone. Needless to say I drove UT I did not return or call them again. Warning warning danger Will Robinson. I would not suggest you ever stop at this Jiffy Lube read more

Horrible service. My son went two weeks in a row to get the oil changed in his car. The first week their system was down and they told him to come back. The second week they told him that they were out of the type of oil his car used. It is a shame. We used to go here all the time. read more

Jiffy Lube - Getting an oil change - Auto Repair Near Me - Moorpark, California

They're very dishonest and disrespectful. I went in for an oil change and they told me the car was leaking oil. I garage my car inside and I never seen an oil drop on the garage floor. They broke the filter housing and tried to blame it on me, how would I break my filter housing? The car was running perfectly and very efficient. The guy (Josh) told me I need to change the filter housing or I need to tow the car to another shop. He coded me $50 for the part with no labor charge. I was suspicious, anyway I agreed. When I went to pick up the car, he said it's $150 on top of the cost for oil change. I told him our agreement was $50 not $150, he said I'll remove the part and it's up to me to tow the car to another shop. I asked to talk to the manager and told him they are responsible for breaking the part. I was nice enough to pay for the agreed price on the original quote. We were going back and forth, finally I paid the original quote and left the store knowing that they broke the original part and tried to make me pay for it. They are very rude, scamming customers, disrespectful and dishonest. I don't advise anyone in Moorpark or other cities to go to Jiffy Lube for oil change, they will try to scam you!!! read more

I've been to this Jiffy Lube in the past, and they've been helpful, but my most recent was just a waste of time. I called in the morning to ask how long it would take to replace the air and cabin filters in my car. I was told it would be 5-10 minutes if they had the right filters in stock. Great, so about an hour later I stop by. The two guys are finishing with a previous customer, so I wait a couple of minutes before I can pull forward into one of the service spots. I had hoped I could even stay in the car while they just swapped out he filters, but they ask me to sit in the office. I confirm this should be quick, 10-15 minutes, right? They say yes, as long as my filter is in stock. Fine, so I sit there and wait. 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, nearly 20 minutes later. By this time, I've been at Jiffy Lube almost a full 30 minutes, and I tell them I've got to go. That's when the employee asks if I'm sure because it should just take a few minutes to check their stock to confirm if they have the filters I need. As I'm getting in the car, the employee checks the compute to let me know they didn't have my filters, but I could come back later in the day once they buy the filters from AutoZone. I get that I'm not the only customer, and everyone has stuff to do and places to be, but I was expecting that my time would be respected. I had asked how long the service would take not for giggles but because it mattered. But apparently prompt service or timely communication only mattered to me at this "Jiffy" Lube. read more

Stopped by to get a routine oil change and check the tire pressure, as the warning light had just come on in my car. Even though it was close to closing time, staffed greeted me at my car, talked through services and pricing in advance, and didn't try to oversell me on things I didn't need. They even identified another problem with the vehicle and gave advice on how they could fix it at a future appointment, if I wanted. read more

Wasted time and money. Told they don't have the oil & filter needed for my car (Audi q7- pretty common vehicle in this area). They said I could go to autozone and purchase it and bring it back and they would do the oil change. I do that, bring it back, they take the car for about 10 min then have me come out and say they don't feel comfortable doing the oil change because the engine has a piece of plastic over it (stock engine, just a manufactuer cover). Calling other places, they want to use their oil not AutoZone. Now, I have wasted about an hour with Jiffy and spent $$ on oil I really never needed... I sucks to waste money, it sucks to waste time, it's just stupid when they make you do both. read more

I'd give zero stars if possible. This is the 3rd time in a row I've been to this location over the past 2 weeks to try and get my oil changed. First time they couldn't help because they were in the middle of a shift change, okay no problem. The next time they said they needed to order the filter for my car and it would be available in a day. Third and final time, I get there about a week after they said they ordered the filter...still no filter and no oil change. This place used to be really easy to go to and close to home but now it's a monumental waste of time. Highly recommend avoiding this place and going elsewhere. read more
