Vehicle mechanics have always amazed me. It's probably because I'm clueless about anything that relates to the technical aspects of a car. Cars seem so complex under the hood. I admire anyone who works on them. We were greeted by two women mechanics. How cool is that!? I was thrilled to see this! My husband drove the car into the deck. We got out and sat in the waiting area, which was nice and clean. I went to the unisex restroom. It was spotless! After our car was finished, Sierra, who was wonderful and professional, checked us out. The only downside is this particular location didn't accept our coupon. Worst location I've been to. They literally do the bare minimum! I'm used to going to the one on 104th and Kedzie. Always nice, service always on point. Today I happened to be in matteson and needed to handle my oil change, so I stopped here. They had me to pull all the way in and had me stay in my car the entire time until it was time to pay. Ok, cool.. y'all do it different. But not knowing I opened my door to get out,(other location open doors for you and walk you to waiting lounge so that's what I was used to), he rudely says, "what are you doing!" I replied, "getting out!" Him: Nawl, stay in your car we don't do none of that fancy stuff here!" I had to finally get out to pay, reset my own light in my vehicle and ASK for my receipt. They wouldn't even put my "next oil change" sticker in the window for me. Everybody was so short and rude. They didn't go through with me about oil choices, wiper blades, didn't clean my windows, LITERALLY NOTHING!!! Never again! Worst location! Showed up at 0820 to a place that supposedly opens at 8am. The worker and I Both. I called into the establishment. No answer and then 2 min later a gentleman (maybe the boss as the worker called him) arose from his slumber and let him in. I've been here once before and the service was poor from this same boss. Just had my oil changed. I knew that my tires were all low (I have a tire pressure monitor on the car). One of things they are supposed to check is tire pressure. The receipt says it supposed to be 35. So I asked... They said they would check it. Finally, they call me out. I ask again if they checked it. The guy said yes. So I pull out my phone and check the tires through the app. Nope! Did not check, and certainly did not add air. When I get home I check with my gauge. Makes me wonder what else on that list they did not do. Avoid this place like the Plague. read more

This has been, by far, the worst Jiffy Lube that I have gone to. The very first time that I took my car in for an oil change, it was an ok experience. The second time that I took it back, I was offered a different type of oil but they insisted that I pay additional for it. I asked them to let me see my records so that I could see what oil they gave me the last time and that was when I was advised that they were not able to find me in their system. So, I didn't have time to argue and needed to pay and leave due to an engagement that I was running late for. Once I pulled off, I realized that they had not placed the new sticker in my window. I call back to the shop and was advised that they could meet me somewhere to give me the sticker. Really? I advised that I would come back and get it later that week. So, a friend of mine was in town and I took her to the Jiffy Lube store in Lansing. When I tell you that their service was amazing (and this was the original location that I would go to). They vacuumed her car out, gave a minor wash to her windows and everything. I was very bothered because the two visits to the store in Matteson, my car wasn't vacuumed nor my windows wiped down. I asked one of the techs is that something that should be done at every store and his response to me was yes. Now, it is time to go and get some answers. That next week, I took a trip back over to the Matteson location to get my window sticker and there were 3 men, sitting. I addressed one of the men and told him what my issues were. He provided me with the sticker and I found it odd that he was able to find me in the system then. Also, I asked him are the floors being vacuumed and windows being wiped down part of the service? He advised that it indeed is included. I then stated that the last two trips that I had been there, this wasn't done for my car. His response to me is that they would make sure to take care of it on my next visit. How can you take care of something on the next visit, if I already paid for it?TWICE!! I wasn't happy with the service or answers provided so I reached out to corporate and made a complaint. The young lady that I spoke with completed my complaint and advised that she would be sending it over to one of the managers in that area. Needless to say, it has been almost 3 months and I STILL have not heard anything. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. So I spoke with the GM Micheal last week in regards to the terrible service I received last Sunday. He was extremely apologetic and informed me that he would speak w his team so this never happens again. Well, I arrived yesterday around 11 a.m., there was one car sitting waiting and a tech standing outside. He asked how could he help me and I stated I just needed a oil change. He informed me that there would be a wait because his manager wasn't there. Then ended with, "You can come back later or come back tomorrow". This is the second time in 2 weeks that I wasn't able to get my oil changed. As inconvenient as this is seeing as I live 2 mins from here, I will no longer be supporting my neighborhood jiffy lube!!!! They explained why and helped me to understand the need for any necessary changes. As a single female getting an oil change or having car maintenance done in general can be occasionally overwhelming. When I went in today I was brought to the waiting room no one asked what kind of oil change I needed, I had to stick my head out finally to say what my husband was wanting us to get. There were no prices up or info on the different oils. And no one told me what they were doing before starting. They were in the middle and called me out and said ok the price is $91 I said wait are you just doing the oil change Nothing else? yes that's all we are doing. I've never paid that much for an oil change. If I'd of known the price before them starting I would of never agreed to that. But the oil prices where not even displayed in the waiting area just their bundles. Unless I missed them but I looked and there was none. But again they didn't talk to me. I was by myself with my daughter. Horrible service. They did give me $15 off which I appreciate but customer service is very poor at this location! Will not be back read more

Took my new (Used) car there for its very first oil change. I used conventional oil and for some reason my total still came out to $60. But that's not the worst part. 1000 miles into my oil change I had an oil light on and noticed it was low oil. I took it to another shop for another oil change and they say the last people (which is jiffy lube) Stripped the screw to my oil pan and oil was leaking all into the plastic tray under the car. Thank God I went with my instinct because I only had the car for a month now. I didn't try to contact them because I know they will lie. So that's why I'm making this place. Don't go here. Sadly, it takes FOREVER to get your oil changed here. We just moved to the area and I need to find a new place to get oil changes. I'm used to the kind where you just drive through and it takes about 10 minutes. I've been here about 25 minutes and still waiting. I should have guessed this was a mistake when they had me get out of the car. It's also really expensive - about $50 for a basic oil change. I will not be back. read more

I have been here 2-3 times now, and each time I noticed that my car needs an oil change WAY before the suggested mileage/date (I came in on April 30th and it is only June 11th). Terrible, terrible, terrible experience! I wish I had read the reviews before going here. This is the WORST Jiffy Lube on earth! And I have been to several! I sat outside waiting for someone to service my vehicle for 10 min! That was at 9:30am. They opened at 9am and there were no other customers in sight. Then a fat, dirty, sloppy manager named Reggie approached me mumbling. No greeting, just asked if I was familiar with their services. Then he proceeded to rattle of prices like I had drove all the way over there with no money! What an idiot. Then said I could get out of the car. Didn't tell me where to sit, didn't offer refreshments, just left me there. I found my way, thankfully! Then an even more dirtier worker appears & begins to do work on my car. Then Reggie uses his finger to motion me in his direction because he was too lazy, sloppy and fat to walk into the waiting room like a professional! Who promoted him anyway?! Clearly Jiffy Lube has no standards if this is who they choose to represent their business. After wasting more minutes with incompetent Reggie, I waited forever for him to come to the register to pay and he wasn't even working. I was so upset at this point that I just wanted to leave! To piss me off even more, the worker drives my car down the driveway, keys in ignition, car running, driver door wide open and leaves it unattended!!! Who does that? My experience was completely uncalled for! I can't wait to call Headquarters in the morning. Bad party is, based on the previous reviews it might not do any good. Don't go here! The place was open, but looked closed. I had to honk the horn twice to get the Manager to open the stall. He was slow, sloppy and acted as if he could care less about being of service. I was the only car there and it took 30 minutes to get my oil changed. The guys who changed my oil was also sloppy and slow. Also, the price for a simple oil change was $65.00!! If I could give this place zero stars it would be negative zero. I pulled up to Jiffy Lube on 11/19 @ 2:00pm for an oil change. I was there for an hour and 11 mins waiting for my car to get done. To my surprise I start my 2011 Ford Focus to see the MyKey Settings have been programmed without my authorization. So now the volume on my radio can only go so loud. My seat belt has to be fastened in order for my radio to be unmuted. My car can only go so fast because a speed limit has been programmed on my car. I did not authorize Rosalio R Cameron M or Martrell T to make any programming changes to my car settings. I have tried to reprogram them but I don't know how to do it. I am so livid with the experience I will never get my oil changed and this place ever again. read more

What did I walk into? There were 6 guys standing around. I was the only customer. One of the employees had his car in the garage with the hood up. One of them starts on my car. 2 minutes later he just walks away? Then somebody else sticks their head under the hood and figures it's not his problem. 5 minutes later somebody else comes by and starts working on it. Until his phone rings and he just stands there talking and looking out the door. Then the first guy came back and yelled for the one in the basement. He was there for no more than a minute before someone comes out and tells him his old lady is on her way and is pissed. Great! She arrives right on time for everybody to go outside and listen to the bitch fest. I am stand there with my mouth open in disbelief? This cannot be happening to me. But wait. It's not over yet. Someone that I have never seen before starts pumping oil into my car and he is on his phone telling whoever is on the line, what's going on at the shop. I don't know what to say. Had service in April and the young man tried to act like knew everything there was about my car. He didn't make sure that my oil was completely changed so my oil is currently dirty. I called today and spoke to a manager who was obviously too young and experience to handle a complaint. He told me he would change my oil for free but said they were getting ready to close. I drove by anyway. Mind you it was 545p on a Friday. The website stated that they do not close until 7p. There was a young man standing under the bay door (which is unsafe) talking on his phone. I have gone to this location for over 3years and never had a problem. Sine they didn't drain all the oil out my car I will never go back. Smh! read more
