    I had my faith in Kauffman Tire briefly dashed this week, but luckily they just restored it…read more I have always been a big fan - I appreciate that they don't try to up-sell me on some crazy expensive tires or services I don't need. I have always found Kauffman Tire employees to be dependable and honest - an important quality for a woman getting her car serviced. I appreciate that I can always run by and have them take a look at my tires if I'm not sure about something (ie: when I curb it and am scared it's gonna blow out on the interstate at some point in the near future), and I've always appreciated the service I get here. I have gotten my last couple of sets of tires at Kauffman and have always recommended them to friends and family. This week I got a flat tire from a big ol' nail. My tires are only a few months old, and I was pretty bummed to hear I needed a new tire, expecting to pay the prorated price. Bummed turned to mad and confused when they told me I didn't have road hazard protection on them. What?! I am an anxious human and have never turned down a protection plan in my life. I paid for a new tire and left, feeling like my faith in them had been dashed. I couldn't believe that I somehow left without road hazard protection on these tires. They didn't mention it to me at my purchase, so I assumed it was included and I certainly never would have authorized removing it - even to save a few bucks! I sent an email today expressing how upset I was and - I kid you not - within FIVE minutes my phone was ringing! Trip was very understanding and apologetic and wanted to help me get it figured out. He ended up adding the protection to all four of my tires at no cost to me. I'm knocking off a star because we're still not clear on how exactly I managed to leave the store with 4 unprotected tires in the first place and I'm still down the cost of the replacement tire from earlier this week. Having said that, I feel like they really worked hard to restore my faith in them and I appreciate the gesture and attempt to make things right. I was feeling really disappointed in them and this did a lot to help me feel good about my loyalty to them.

I made the credit card deposit and then took my vehicle in at the appointment time. The manager Chance told me he would call me that afternoon when the vehicle was ready. At 7pm I noticed I had not received a call and called the store but no one answered. The next morning I received a call the vehicle was ready. When I picked it up it was parked way in the back of the parking lot and not out front. I opened the vehicle and immediately noticed the drivers seat was in full recline position like someone had slept in the car. I then drive off and immediately noticed the vehicle is swerving badly and the steering wheel is not lined up. I take it straight back to the store. They say, "oh we did not do something we need to do. Hold tight and we will correct that". I wait for a little over an hour. They then say your vehicle is good and ready to go. We even test drove it for you. I get in the car and start driving home. The vehicle is still swerving and just does not feel safe. I park the vehicle and get out to look at it. I notice then Im missing a lug nut on the front left tire. (Picture below). I also notice the rear wheels are completely bent in and don't look straight at all. (Picture below). I call Chance back and he says bring it back. I was skeptical to drive without the lug nut but took it back. They keep the car for several more hours and I speak with Chance again. He said, "we have done everything we can and it's still not corrected". He said, "I just drove it and I see exactly what you're saying". I told him I'm picking it up and taking to the dealership I bought the car from. I took it to the dealership and the dealer looked at the car and told me they had to realign the vehicle due to the alignment not being right: They also said the rear cam bolts were not tightened after Mavis did the alignment which was causing the rear wheels to be bent in and the vehicle to not drive properly. They also said this can lead to a CATASTROPHIC situation. The incompetence of this store is truly unbelievable. Myself or one of my family members could have been killed due to the horrible work they did on the vehicle. BEWARE!!!

I called a few places based on reviews and settled on KLM as they were the most responsive and personable. I took my car in a few days later and picked it up the following day. My vehicle was fixed as promised. The staff here were very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. The price I paid was a fraction of what the dealership wanted to charge and more on board with what my research online said it should cost. I'm very pleased with my decision to take my car here. I was apprehensive because it's a European car. But, my mechanic Antonio actually used to work at a Mercedes dealership. I would recommend KLM to friends and family and return. They fixed my car and saved me money!

After…read moredealing with a dishonest mechanic for some time I decided to look for another shop and stumbled across KLM. I asked to have my brakes checked and it turns out that they were fine, but my CV axel was damaged and leaking grease. Luis quickly quoted me a reasonable price for the work and was able to have it fixed within a few hours. Due to my first experience with the CV axel going well I decided to return to have my thermostat replaced, oil change, and a tune up. Again, I was quoted a very reasonable price for the work and when I returned to pick up my car (which was ready same day) I noticed that they washed my car for me. Words cant describe how happy I am with KLM and the service that they provide. There arent many honest mechanics these days, but I truly trust Luis and his team. I think it goes without saying that I will be returning!
