Called the store around 2:40 pm to see the status of the car and was told that they were just getting it on. When I questioned that, the person said that they had alignment rack problems and would call when it was completed. I called back around 5:30 pm since I hadn't heard anything and that person said that it was being worked on. I again explained that my car was there since 9:30 am and had an appointment at noon. His explaination was that there was a lot of cars in for an alignment . I said, again, I had an appointment at noon and it should have not taken this long. He put me on hold and came back and told me that it was finishing up. He again said that there was a lot of people in for alignments, which I again told him that I had an 12:00 appointment and I should have been given that time slot. I told him what the other person said about the rack and he had no idea of it. Got the emailed invoice the next day and it showed that I picket up the car at 5:44 pm but now when I look at the invoice, all it shows it that I dropped off the car at 9:38 and and "Due at 1:00 pm". That tells me that the agliment "should" have taken an hour but I do understand that the techs do run into issues but I was never contacted saying the the alignment rack was down, they were behind or any other reason for my car to get done around 5:30 pm

After paying $139.55 I drove about 100 yards down the road to a stop light at which point my engine shut off and would not restart. Immediately called Valvoline and Manager, Michael, came down to look at my car. He reported everything they had done looked fine. Shoved car off main road into parking lot. He tried to convince me it was my battery (even though my lights were on and they checked the battery during oil change). He attempted to jumpstart my car and that was not the issue. Said he would start a customer care claim in case it's their fault and left. I had a tow truck take my car to repair shop where it was proven VALVOLINE neglected to put oil in my car after they drained it!! My motor is locked up and ruined. Not until Monday, did I hear from Lisa, area manager, through customer care line. She insisted she look at the car and try putting oil in it. Met her at repair shop to which she never once said hello, introduced herself, shook hands, or even express empathy for situation. Saw with her own eyes no oil is in the car and motor locked up. Says it has to be towed somewhere for a full diagnostic test and estimates to repair. I requested it go to Audi service department and she flat said no as if it's her vehicle and not mine. Told her I wanted to know where she wanted to take it and who was going to tow it. Was never notified with that information prior to her moving forward with having it towed. I asked for a rental and was told no until she received a diagnostic test and estimate. They received an estimate Tuesday at 2 pm and passed it on to their insurance company. I'm still being refused a rental vehicle and have had to call off work for 3 consecutive days to date. Was told insurance company would contact me yesterday and they did not and have not to date. They refuse to provide me with insurance contact information or someone above Lisa at Valvoline. Lisa has been nothing but rude and constantly blowing smoke and finding reasons to drag this process out instead of doing everything she can to help me. Their NEGLEGENCE AND INCOMPETENCE ruined my Audi motor and I'm the one suffering the consequences. I have filed complaint with the State's Attorney General Office and have also retained an attorney. This has been an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE and the worst customer service experience of my life. It's a mystery to me how Lisa ever became an area manager in a customer service company and Valvoline is PATHETIC and doesn't own up to their mess ups nor do they even act like they give a d@mn. Please stay away from this business so this doesn't happen to you!!!!!!

I was baffled. Waisted at least half an hour of my time, and called their supervisor to have him confirm they couldn't do the oil change. I could see from my truck they indeed had the oil, but decided that if they couldn't locate that big 500 gallon tote if 0w20. That I probably didn't want this gang of high schoolers charging my oil. I left having paid nothing, and only missing out on a potential future problem. They definitely need more training, and maybe some customer service skills. I'd recommend you think twice before going here, my review is not the only bad one.
