Lesly is a mechanic and was very rude to me. She treated me like an idiot and didn't understand I didn't want to add on an ac filter and other things for my car. I asked to speak to the manager and she told me she was the manager and the other one went home for the day. I also said I've been coming here for 15 years and she told me she's never seen me and she's been working here for 3 years. The employees here have been very sharp and rude the entire process. I would not recommend coming here unless your day is lazy and you have all the time in the world. Terrible, terrible, terrible! I had gone here for years because it was close to my house. Management changed (again) and it's terrible. My son got an oil change and they left a tool sticking out of the bottom of his car, and while he was driving on the freeway the entire skid plate fell off!! The way they dealt with it was atrocious. All they did was take the tool out and told him he was good. No apology. No refund of any kind. Nothing. Just, "You're good". He is 21, and they took advantage of him. Went in for an oil change. When the girl went to ring me up, she very quickly read off they replaced the oil, checked fluids, my tire pressure reading and I had an excessive oil leak and price. She said it so fast I had to say what did you say? She looked at me blankly. I had to ask did you say I had an oil leak? Nonchalantly she said oh ya, you have a massive oil leak. I said first I'm hearing of this. First, I park in my driveway. Not one drop of oil has ever leaked. Do not go here. Very unprofessional. The manager Ishmael was very dismissive and rude to my teen son. My son waited over an hour for a transmission fluid exchange only to be told that they can't do it. This was also after I called them beforehand, gave them the specs of my car and asked if they can change transmission in it. They said yes and told me to bring it in. i went to the jiffy lube on Adam's Ave a year ago and they didn't properly replace the drain plug which led to oil leakage all over my garage. i swore i'd never go back but when a coupon came in the mail i figured i'd go to a different location (on Warner) and give them another shot. i bet you can guess what happened next. yep, they failed to properly replace the drain plug, which led to oil leakage all over my driveway. except this time when i brought my car back they blamed it on a bad oil pan seal and told me to go to a mechanic. so i did, but i explained that i had just been to jiffy lube before the leakage started and to look for signs they caused the problem. well the mechanic had the car up for no more than 30 seconds when he told me to come out and look at the fresh oil leaking from the drain plug. so i brought the car back to jiffy lube a third time and they finally fixed the problem. so this time i had to bring my car to jiffy lube 3 times and a mechanic once to get one proper oil change. and for all my driving around and oil spilled all over my driveway do you think they refunded my money? nope. same outcome as a year ago. this company should not be allowed to do business. read more

Came here for the first time for an oil change. Stumbled on a coupon and thought I'd try it out. Luckily we came at a time when it was not crowded and the oil change was completed very fast! I tried to use my coupon but the guy said it was for another location even though I had searched for it under a particular city and the location popped up. Stopped in today... My car all of a sudden started beeping like crazy telling me I couldn't drive anymore because my oil dropped really low. I freaked out and pulled over into a random shopping center and called Bentley Roadside. They said they would be there within an hour. I ended up calling the service department at my car dealership explaining what happened and they said to put some oil in it and it would be safe to drive to the dealership. I happen to look up and noticed I was right in front of this Jiffy Lube (I swear, God was looking out for me lol!) I parked and came in. I was greeted by a really nice gentleman named Ishmael. I explained what was going on and he said to pull around and pull my car in and he would take care of it, I asked how long and he said it would be really quick. I want ahead and sat down inside of the waiting area. I noticed it was really clean. Within about 7 minutes he told me my car was all done and he was also able to re-set the notification/warning alerts and it was safe to drive. I was in complete disbelief. He really made it happen for me within under 10 minutes. I couldn't believe I had to call back roadside assistance and cancel because he saved the day! I will definitely be back to this location. I came in for my anual uber inspection like every year. When i park my car and one of the guy asked me if i m here for the uber inspection, i said yes. The first thing right of the bat was : oh your wiper needed changes, it looked old. I just had barely replace my wipers 2 months ago. Oh, we have to see if it works and wipe off everything clearly and clean. Well, i had always got dinged from you guys for neither : wipers, tires, lights, brakes or something else. I know you got a business going but dont scam people for something out of nothing when everything are still working good to great conditions. Brought my truck in for an oil change today and when I came back to pick up my truck they said there was a small spill on the vehicle of oil they tried to clean it. I go to the parking lot where they parked it and they must of sprayed 1/2 my truck with oil. Oil smeared all over my hood, windshield, driver door, driver passenger door, the trim around my windshield is now ruined and oil stained. There's a large scratch with paint missing at my drivers door ( was not there before hand) and my bed rail trim is oil stained. My vehicle was detailed this morning and spotless 20mins before I brought it into this store for service. No manager on duty and no one could reach a manager. I spent over $200 on an oil change to get the vehicle back damaged and not one person taking responsibility. read more

If I could rate this 0 stars I would. I came here to get an oil change today 12/27/2021. I normally do it myself but had to go come here as an emergency. After I paid the guy told me that I had an excessive oil leak. It started to rain so I left home and checked the oil leak he was talking about. I checked under the truck and saw where it was coming from. Opened the hood and saw that they had tried to clean away at the oil they had dropped. Clearly the person servicing the truck dropped it. I will never be coming here again even if it is an emergency. I get accidents happen but it really worried me that something had happened to my truck. read more

I don't recommend this Jiffy Lube location. I went in for my annual Uber/Lyft safety inspection. Leslie the cashier tried to scam me to do 2 safety inspections. She claims that Uber/Lyft use to two different safety inspection documents and it would be a extra 47 dollars to do a safety inspection for Lyft. WRONG uber and Lyft both use Jiffy lube to inspect drivers cars and it's the same document. My car pass inspections and I uploaded the inspection sheet to Lyft/Uber without any issues. If you are a driver for uber and Lyft all need you need is one inspection document for 47 dollars not 94 dollars. Be aware of Leslie don't let her try scam and steal from you. read more

Normally I take my Honda CRV to the dealer I purchased it at. It's 10 years old and still great condition. I get all scheduled maintenance and never cheap out on my car repairs or put things off. I was in a time pinch and headed to Big Bear the next day when of course my oil light comes on. I did not want to go on a vacation with mountain driving putting stress on my engine so I figured I'd just stop in to the jiffy lube and get a basic oil change in my time pinch. What could go wrong? I also had just run out of wiper fluid so ok timing on that! Well I had the oil change done 12/28. Everything seemed in order. I was annoyed on completion after specifically mentioning to refill my wiper fluid I pulled away and it was still empty so I had to make a U turn and go back to have it filled. Fast forward to This week on Feb 8Th I notice oil leaking from my car. My driveway is very clean so I know it hadn't been leaking over a period of time. Also it was dripping visibly fast. So I thought great, the time has finally come and my 10 year old car developed some big oil problem that's going to cost me a grand. I drive to my normal dealership. They see it actively leaking. Since my oil change at jiffy lube was about 6 weeks before I didn't correlate it. Well after they checked it out, turned out it was the oil change. The ring the filter is tightened onto was not lubricated with oil correctly and had dry spots, there were dents on my filter where they used a vice grip to over tighten. The dealer mechanic explained the process of correct lubrication of the ring and hand tightening which should never leave clamp dents in the filter. As the pressure built up over the weeks the oil finally made its way out. I was so relieved no major expense. Everything else was perfect in my engine. They cleaned the oil as much as feasibly possible that had leaked and had to complete a new oil change. Everything corrected. Of course now I've paid for a second oil change, plus the time of taking it back in, and cleaning my driveway spots at home, plus the extra $75 to diagnose it. I don't think anything malicious happened and not worth my time to go argue over a refund for shotty work. I would feel bad if this is someone in a money pinch and they could not afford the repair and this the reason for my review. I will never go back or refer anyone to them. It's not like I drive a Tesla. A botched job on a basic Honda oil change shows a lack of training or incompetence. I looked up standards for dented oil filter and that should never have been left in my engine regardless if they had installed it correctly. read more

I got the "signature service blend" on 11/20/22. In the service checklist, "vacuum floor" was marked completed but they never did! (I was hoping they would, and i was in a rush I didn't notice it right away). The car came out of the service very fast, like 10 minutes. I don't have the knowledge of verifying if they actually checked all the details that they marked they did on my car. Just because I notice the floors were not vacuumed like they said and the service period was super short, I'm not sure if my car was checked like what promised in the service. I always had my car serviced at the Jiffy Lube location on Newport Bl in Costa Mesa. I recently moved to Huntington Beach and went to this location before I went on a road trip at Xmas. I always uSe the standard oil change, never with an issue. This time they told me I had to get synthetic oil or they would not warranty the car, or that the manufacturer would not warranty the engine if I did not use synthetic. Even though I knew this was untrue, did not argue, and told the kid it was ok to do the synthetic, he told me he would give me a $20 discount. When the car was finished , in a very reasonable amount of time. Somebody else came in to ring me up, of course,no discount. I argued with this guy and finallly got the discount. Be careful I did not realize the locations are franchises, these people flat out lied to me, and by reading other reviews I see I am not the first. BEWARE. read more

Especially yesterday, I was super tight on money and the staff let me know that my tire was worn down and extremely dangerous.
