I just got GREAT service at Jiffy Lube on Highway 6! Just wanted to shout them out. I'd been trying to get an oil change and inspection for a while. I usually go to the Take 5 on Hwy 6 but every time they have some excuse for why their inspector isn't around or available. I guess they have only one inspector??? Once I even made an appointment, but when I got there was told he wasn't in and that the appointment you set with corporate doesn't transfer over. Fed up today with yet another "sorry he has to go on break now," I drove just a few hundred feet to Jiffy Lube. Wow. Immediately greeted. Everyone there was a trained inspector. They got me in and out quicker than Take 5 ever did and had amazing customer service. I absolutely recommend them and hope everyone will consider giving them more business. Also shout out to the manager. I met him and he was so friendly and helpful. I went there for oils change and my car is Toyota Camry LE and they charged me $120 for just oils change. I told them don't do it and they said it already done so I have to pay $120 for only oils change. every one I been spoke to and all of them said they charged you over prices. I had a safety inspection completed with Jiffy Lube. I did not know a check engine light was an immediate fail. Sebastian proceeded to waste my time, longer than usual so I knew something was up. If he knew it was going to be a failure, he could have warned me or made recommendations for servicing my car to assist with passing. Had my wife go in for an oil change with a Groupon knowing there would be an up charge for either extra oil or type. They did not ask my wife what type of oil she wanted and just decided to put full synthetic (when the car only needs up to a synthetic blend) so they could charge me $35 on top of the Groupon I already bought. Spoke to the manager and lied to me over the phone saying he explained everything which he did not especially the fact that they decided on their own what type of oil my car needs without asking the customer. Shady stuff just because they know she wouldn't ask questions or even look at it I'm 100% positive they wouldn't have done that to me. read more

I had the pleasure of getting a oil change at Jiffy Lube in Copperfield today. I was assisted by Matthew M, he was very professional and has excellent customer service with people. I have been going to same oil change service my hometown for 17 years, despite having moved to Copperfield a year ago. I came in impromptu and it was a great experience. Clean bathroom, coffee, and water. This location is busy and even guests were commenting how they love this location. Matthew explained the services and products simplified to me. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted with a huge smile by Brad. He was extremely friendly and courteous. I was told there was coffee, water and magazines available while I waited and that they'd have me out in no time. With 2 other cars in the bay, I thought to myself "Yeah, sure" Boy, we're they right. I have been taking my cars to this location for years. The last few times I've gone, the workers are laughing, yelling, and cutting up the whole time. I've even been there when two employees were fighting/yelling/cussing at each other. My most recent visit, I told them specifically not touch the air filters as they had just been changed with expensive filters. They still swapped them out for their cheap ones. One filter was installed upside down (it doesn't work if it's backwards), the casing around it was left hanging open, and they left a tool in the casing area. I would have never known this had I not had a mechanic look at my car shortly after this visit. This shop has just become too unprofessional and lazy. I will be finding another company to give my business to. read more

We have been to this location 2x now. The 1st time for an inspection, the 2nd time for an oil change. To me, an inspection and an oil change are virtually the same no matter where you go. It's the people that make the difference. The employees at this location have been FANTASTIC both times we went. They were different employees, so it's not as if they recognized us from the previous visit. Not only were they all friendly, but they also were very patient and explained the whole inspection & oil change process to my very inquisitive 8 year old. Kudos to this Jiffy Lube!!! read more

I've been coming to this Jiffy Lube for at least 10 years. They have always treated me well and have taken good care of my cars, which I do try and keep running for as long as I can! This location does (as I'm sure all Jiffy Lubes do) make service suggestions for additional sales. That may be a turn-off for some customers, but I've never felt like it is high-pressure at all with this group. They are a very easy-going and friendly team, and everyone there seems to enjoy the work, even on extremely hot summer days. On my most recent visit, Vinny (Melvin) greeted me when I drove up and did the service on my car. I also see Luis listed as the "lower bay" service provider, but I don't think I interacted with him. Brad was great and walked me through the service and also cashed me out. I would also like to add that, as I was walking into the waiting area, Alejandro greeted me with a smile and a "Welcome Back!". I was blown away by this because it had been several months since I had been there (and that was with a different car). There are other area businesses and stores that I visit far more often than Jiffy Lube, and not many of those have anyone that bothers to recognize me when I am there. The "Welcome Back" may seem like a small gesture, but it goes a really long way in my book. Thanks, Alejandro! Matt (who I believe is a manager) was also doing inventory that day and also said hello to me, remembering me from before, even though he wasn't specifically on "customer" duty that day. Again, employees at other places often use duties like "inventory" to completely shut themselves out of interacting with customers. It's nice to know that Matt's not this type of worker. If anybody up the chain at Jiffy Lube reads this, please note my appreciation for the team at Highway 6 North! I hope to keep returning for years to come. read more

Luis and Tyler also worked on my vehical! All these guys were kind, they told me what I needed to get done to my car and that was it. They didnt try to sale me anything I didnt need and showed/explained why I needed what they recommend! They also can make you laugh! These guys had me rolling! Tried to employ fear tactics and misinformation to pressure me into paying for unnecessary expensive upgraded oil change. Was all set to give me a standard/conventional oil change on my vehicle, car was in the bay, ready to go. He already knew the make, model, year at this point. Then I casually mentioned I'd be using a Groupon, THEN I was told if I did not buy their premium synthetic oil (at nearly $50 more) then my engine would likely fail and they would not be held responsible. There was no mention of this until after I told them I was using Groupon. After pulling up some "ESM" recommendation on the their computer to show me (even though the Same Jiffy Lube location had already changed my oil on this vehicle with standard conventional oil - as had other oil change retailers - with no incident - and no mention of this requirement), I was told I would probably kill my engine now using this non-synthetic oil. After a lot of me calling BS he finally said, OK we'll put in the regular oil but you will have to sign a waiver releasing Jiffy Lube from liability after your engine fails. At this point I demanded my keys and my vehicle back and left. Took it down the road to Pep Boys and got it changed with conventional oil, no problem (funny, there was absolutely NO MENTION of me needing this synthetic oil). Avoid this place at all costs, and for sure PLEASE do not send your wife or girlfriend there with unsupervised decision making ability. I ran out during lunch to get my oil changed, had been letting that drag out and was past 5k miles, and didn't want to forget about it for yet another week. Went to Jiffy Lube, let them upsell me on the air and cabin filter. dumb of me, yes but whatever. Get my keys back and turn the car on and before I'm even out of the parking lot I see that my low oil pressure light is now on. This seemed suspicious to me as it had not been on prior to the oil change. I immediately put it back into park and alert them to the situation. They were not particularly helpful or skilled in troubleshooting. Their response was to keep checking the oil and showing me the dipstick. "look there's oil, everything's fine! the sensor must have gone out! Sensors go out!" one of the guys sort of sidled up to me and said, "you know, that light came on when I turned on the motor and moved it into the bay..." I argued with them that yes, although sensors do in fact fail it is highly unlikely that my oil sensor failed at an oil place while getting an oil change and it not somehow be related to the whole oil change procedure. They continued to show me the dip stick and yes, there's still oil there. One of them then opens up a sonata owner's manual, and says, "sir, this light means that there's low pressure, and we changed the oil, so it must just be the sensor." "can you check the oil pressure manually?" "no, but it's just the sensor" "So if I drive out of here and my car is fucked, jiffy lube will be like, our bad, it wasn't just the sensor or are they going to say i'm an idiot for driving around with the oil light on?" One of their guys even tried to talk me out of going to a mechanic. "you know, they're just gonna be like, man, this is wrong that is wrong, they're gonna rip you off" So, being prudent and not wanting to be the owner of a hunk of metal with poorly rotating parts I called a wrecker. He gets there and starts to lift my car up...and oil is dripping from it! I yell at the Jiffy Lube guys to come look, the same one that was distrustful of mechanics comes out , opens the hood and says, "oh, there's oil there, that's just cuz our guy didn't clean it off like he shoulda. Let me clean that for ya" So, yeah, I'm not supposed to find it alarming at all that my oil light is on and there's a suspicious amount of oil pooled around my engine. Get the car to the mechanic, they pop the hood and immediately see that Jiffy lube had caught the sender wire in the oil filter cap and cranked down on it, setting off the oil light and spewing oil. And there was even more oil under the hood just from moving the car into the mechanic's bay. I went back to Jiffy Lube the next day and showed them all of the pictures from the oil change adventure. The same technician with the unhealthy attitude towards mechanics looks at them and says, "how do we know that he didn't just put that wire in the oil filter cap and take pictures?" Yes indeed, how do we know? How do we know that I am not part of a global conspiracy targeting Jiffy Lubes? I took many pictures and strongly recommend that anyone takes a picture of their oil light and mileage prior to it being "serviced". Aside from currently working on getting reimbursed I think one of the biggest things for me is what would have happened if I had just shrugged my shoulders and trusted them. I think a lot of people less stubborn than me would have taken their word for it and merrily gone on their way, right up until the point when their engine ground itself to death. They would be out a lot of money and could potentially have been put in a very hazardous position. I am hoping that this location at least does the right thing and reimburses me for towing my car and having the mechanic look at it but I guess I'll find that out soon enough. read more
