They quoted me $1200.00 and that didnt include the alignment that would be needed after replacing two front shocks. This spot was recommended by a friend and now I know why. They do excellent work here. From customer service to actual work performed. I walk in explain my issue and they put my truck on the lift to perform a free diagnosis. I was weary they would try to upcharge or sell me on some hidden mechanical work I wasn't aware of. Nope the complete opposite, mechanic runs in ask me to come into the stall and walks me around under my truck, visually showing me discrepancies, didn't try to sell me a damn thing. Told me he could fix the shocks but that they would need to order new covers (think dust and debris covers) for the shocks because my F-150 ones were cracked. He showed me the wear and tear of the current ones on my truck. He went in and told the owner of the shop who works the front desk. The owner got on the phone and called Ford for the genuine parts. They quoted him one price and I literally watched him negotiate a cheaper price, never asked me if I wanted him to. When he got off the phone he informed me that he could get two of them for $9 and that ford was delivering them the next morning. I paid for the cost of the parts, nothing extra. He apologized for not being able to get them in same day and offered to change the oil on my truck for free for the inconvenience. My turbo FX4 takes 6quarts of full synthetic, that's a $93 oil change!!!!! I came back the following morning and met the mailman delivering my parts. They were Ford Genuines all right. These guys performed the install perfectly and didn't miss a beat. Did the alignment as well. The owner explained to me that he pays his mechanics a fair salary and doesn't do the commission from work performed model. Because of this his guys work hard and take pride in their work. The shop makes money off of inventory of vehicles being repaired and as such there is no upsell of additional work necessary. The owner made the right decision in his business model and it shows. All of his mechanics are proud of their tradecraft and do excellent work. All are licensed and certified mechanics.

Yesterday, my car died in the parking lot of Rereads bookstore. After my husband came with radiator fluid I was able to make it the few miles to home. Without even calling ahead of time I showed up at All Tune and Lube before 8:00 the next morning. Within minutes they diagnosed the issue (radiator leak), quoted a fair price, and said it would be ready by 4:00. I got a ride to work. It was ready by the time I picked it up. It sounds so much better and I travelled safely home 25 minutes away. It is worth it to drive a little further for excellent auto repair service. We would not go any other place than Ed Patrizio's All Tune and Lube. Did I mention they treat customers like they are family? My car was ready at 1:30. I received a very prompt call from Danny who let me know my car was ready. Even though I didn't get there until closer to 6:00 the light was still on and they were waiting for me to pick it up. The mechanics and owner of All Tune and Lube have kept our vehicles (Subaru and Honda) running smoothly for well over 230,000 miles. I wouldn't trust any other shop to repair my Honda!

But I also recognize quality work takes time -- and once they got everything in motion, progress was solid. If you care about performance and want your car done right, this is a shop worth trusting. Big respect for the end result.

BUYERSBEWAREBUYERSBEWAREBUYERSBEWARE!!!…read more Go ahead and drive a lil bit further (10ish mins) to K & K Tires instead! K & K Tires is located at 823 Fairview Ave, Linthicum Heights, MD. ---- Last night (6/15) my front left (driver's side) tire had a hole in it and I had to pull over to a 7/11 in Glen Burnie to get air. The air wouldn't keep. I checked my other tires and noticed I had a bubble and gash in my front right tire as well. I couldn't drive home. It was late. I called multiple tire shops that were open, they couldn't help. I was able to speak to a Mobile Tire Service who said he could swap out the tires for me first thing in the morning so I had to lyft home and leave the car overnight. The next morning (6/16 == today), my mobile service tech picked up [what was supposed to be] two 235 tires from Gillies. We wanted to put a slightly wider tire on for both of the fronts (recommended is 225). I met the tech at 7/11 he put the two tires on and I asked him where he got them from because my back tires were closed to being bald as well. He said Gillie's. So I got the address and immediately went to Gillie's. I noticed my car was making a noise and wasn't driving like normal but I'm think it's just the new width of [what was supposed to be] the two 235 front tires. I pulled up to Gillie's trying to get back tires to replace the back tires. The service guy/worker (who actually sold the tires to my mobile guy) told me he didn't have them (the back tires) in stock and also that my car was staggering down the road/limping. Still unbeknownst to me that we (I and/ the mobile tire service guy) were sold two different sized front tires from Gillies, I went to three other tire places who didn't have the size of the back tires. I ended up finding K & K Tires this morning (thank god) trying to get the back tires replaced (which they had in stock), however, when I got there their mechanics were telling me that they couldn't change the backs cause the fronts were not even the same size. I ended up having them change the front two tires to the SAME/matching size. I was already seriously late for work so I had to go to work but I contacted the mobile tire repair guy to contact Gillie's while I was at work because I couldn't have my phone. He contacted them and told me to go back after work so they can fix everything. After work (within the last hour), I drove to Gillie's and was immediately met by the serviceman who told me earlier that my car was staggering, and he told me that he already knows what I'm here for (he got the call) and that he was going to get the manager, "Gillie". Gillie, instead of coming outside to speak to me directly, kept relaying messages to his employee and also my mobile tire repair guy (who I was on the phone with trying to get this resolved). Back and forth back and forth. I was waiting outside for 30 mins before I told my mobile service guy to call Gillie and tell him to come outside to speak to me because Gillie didn't want to fix the issue that they caused. My whole transmission could've went bad as the tires were different sizes and I have an all-wheel drive sports sedan. Gillie finally came outside trying to belittle me telling me "I don't know cars", "he was on the phone w/ the mobile tire repair guy when he was changing my tires" and a bunch of other lies. Definitely lying about being on the phone w/ the mobile service guy because I was right next to him as he was putting on the tires. At this point, it's a scene, there's other patrons there witnessing everything. Gillie wanted to just give me two 235 tires (which was supposed to had be the case in the first place), which wouldn't have fixed the situation as K & K Tires properly put two matching front tires on so I wouldn't ruin my transmission as I have to drive a lot of miles across the DMV. Gillie told me "it's on me if I want to make a bad review". Gillie would rather risk the reputation of his business than to make things right by his customer. PLEASE GO TO K & K Tires not too far from here if you value your vehicle and safety!!!!!!!!!!!!! The location (for my account) says SanFran (account defaulted to that) but this is for the "business" located at 4904 Ritchie Hwy, Baltimore, MD 21225 (it may say Brooklyn, MD in some places/websites online).

I figured that I either have a leak in my tire(s) or the air pressure sensor wasn't working. I relied on good old Yelp to find a shop nearby and came across Caton Auto. I dropped off my car and I always get a little uneasy at auto shops cause you feel like you're vulnerable but my experience was amazing. I checked in and waited in the lobby. They have free water, snacks and coffee. They came up to me shortly after and said that my sensor wasn't working and there was no pressure on getting it replaced. They said it would cost about $200 to fix and it actually was the price I was expecting if that was the issue. I just didn't want to pay that for a sensor. And the mechanic told me that he doesn't blame me. I asked how much it would be and he said nothing. They even adjusted my tire pressure since some were off due to filling it with air at the gas stations and they aren't the most accurate. I really wasn't expecting this kind of service and would come back to this place in the future for services to my vehicle. Awesome place!

Caton Auto Clinic - Excellent Customer Service, but Get an Estimate First To Be Sure…read more Caton Auto Clinic provides excellent customer service and is affiliated with AAA. They offer a convenient after-hours drop-off box, a nice waiting area, and a location right off a major beltway. I was also impressed by how clean and well-maintained the parking lot and repair facility were. With over 35 years in business, they clearly have an established presence in the community. My main concern was the cost of diagnostics and repairs. I was quoted approximately $900 for diagnostics and the recommended work, with individual diagnostic charges ranging from about $160-$200 (see attached estimate). After getting additional estimates, I found a local garage that was able to complete ALL the repairs for about the same price as Caton Auto Clinic's original quote. Since my son's car was older, the repair cost was approaching the overall value of the vehicle, so I had to carefully consider whether the expense made sense. I understand that quality service and experienced technicians come at a cost, but I recommend asking for a detailed estimate and clarifying all diagnostic fees upfront before authorizing any work. I also noticed their billboard advertising a $79.99 oil change, which seems like a great deal in today's market! Overall, Caton Auto Clinic has a lot of positives, including friendly customer service, a clean facility, and a convenient location , coffee area . If I had a newer car, I would absolutely consider using them. For an older vehicle, however, I would recommend comparing estimates first to make sure the cost of repairs is worthwhile.
